The next morning I could hear sam slam the front door shut and sigh with anger, "that was the fifth rouge today" I heard Alex say, he was the beta, "should we raise the amount of patrols?" scarlet asked, sam sighed again "scarlet organize patrols for the east, north, and south borders I want them marked strongly too. Alex me and you are going to the neighboring pack to discuss the rouges" he said in an alpha tone, I knew he was trying to not only keep the pack safe but my fifteenth birthday was tomorrow and I was not able to protect myself against a rouge in their wolf form, not until tomorrow.

'These damn rouges where going to ruin everything, tomorrow is ari's birthday... Just one more day without them she has to stay safe' I silently thought as me and Alex crossed the border in our shifted forms, we were heading to silverpeak pack to discuss the rouge appearances, surely as our neighboring pack they would be swarmed with them too. As a giant Brown wolf stopped in front of us 'alpha Sam of silvermoon pack'  I mind linked the wolf 'alpha Bowen of silverpeak pack, what are you and your beta doing here?" the she wolf asked me, I quickly shifted back to my regular form the others followed "I came here to discuss the rouges, we had seen two yesterday during our celebration run, and five today within three hours" I said. Bowen looked at me confused "I have only seen one rouge and they were running along my borders towards yours" she said, there was something up that many rouges and none within our neighbors borders ' they want something of ours' I mind linked Alex, he nodded. "We have to go, I'm sorry" I said and shifted into my fox, Alex into his wolf as we ran back across our borders.
