I was helping the maids set up the living room, changing it into a ball room. A chandelier was being held up with diamond strings attached to all sides of the second floor railing, lights that changed colors and circled the room where placed in each corner, silver and pink streamers where hung anywhere thy would fit, furniture was moved to the library and the two large doors to the back where left open, food was outside. Scarlet and the pack including you hve gone on a celebration run, meanwhile I was the only one who hasn't shifted yet and there was no way I could keep up with the pack at their top speeds. The front door of the pack house suddenly swung open, Jake and Alex in the lead they were laughing and shoving each other as the rest of the pack flowed in. When shifting clothes stay on, so everyone was still in formal attire, when they actually looked in the living room I was looking at my feet standing in the middle of the dance floor. Sam was looking at me I could feel it, suddenly a maid turned on some romantic music the pack began to file onto the floor and begin to dance. Since scarlet has yet to find her mate all of the single wolves get to dance with her until she finds him. Sam had already looked directly into scarlet's eyes and was not her mate, I could here someone walking towards me my heart panicked and I slowly looked up to meet his brown eyes. "Can I have this dance?" Sam asked holding out a hand, "I.. I Can't dance" I admitted shaking his head and laughing he then reached for my hand, pulled me close as a slow song came on, I was too shocked to say or do anything as I was being pulled along to the rythem. Scarlet laughed, I could tell she saw my shocked face then as I was spun again I caught a glimpse of her head rested on Jake's chest while they slow danced, she had found her mate. Once the song was over I thanked sam and headed back to my bedroom for the night.
