Scarlet and I where both sharing my large bathroom mirror, our faces really close to it as we applied our makeup, it was already afternoon and her ceremony begans at two. Scarlet had on light makeup, little foundation, black and grey Smokey eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner. Meanwhile I had brown eyeshadow that faded into Orange, mascara, eyeliner with sharp wings, lipstick, and light blush. Once we made sure our makeup was finished scarlet dragged me to her room, three doors down. Closing her door and smiling a huge smile, I knew she was gonna show me her dress, she jumped up and down as she opens her walk in closet not letting me in she called "ready!" from inside the closet "no.. I don't want to see your dress" I said in a sarcastic tone while rolling my eyes. Scarlet sighed and brought out a sleeveless long black dress, the torso up the chest had a bunch of diamonds, the bottom puffed and had many pretty ruffles made out of netted grey fabric, it was very breath taking, looked like a dress in my dreams. I gasped as I took in the sight, scarlet laughed, she shoved the dress into my arms, peeking out the door then shoved my out of her room and ran to mine slamming the door behind her. I was still staring at the dress when she took it out of my arms, "now let me see yours" she clapped, I opened my closet door and brough out a knee length white dress, there where sparkles all over it and golden netted fabric that stuck out of the bottom, it had a skinny torso and a fluffy bottom, there was a silk gold ribbin tied around the waist. Scarlet smiled "you're gonna look so good" she winked, I shrugged "not as good as you... Wait till Jake see's" I said mocking the name of the guy that had eyes on her. Scarlet slapped my arm playfully "stop it" she said a light blush appearing, I laughed as she pouted, looking over at the time I shoved her into the bathroom to get changed. After we were both in our dresses I curled her hair and put a rose in the back, my hair was in a high ponytail, the ends curled and scarlet insisted I added sparkles, we were both ready by one fifty six, once she heard everyone make their way outside we ran down the stairs and waited behind the wooden double doors to hear her name. Time ticked by as the alpha family was introduced, finally the time came. "I stand here today as future alpha to fully welcome scarlet and her wolf into the pack... Today she turned fifteen and anxiously awaits behind those doors" sam said. I smiled at scarlet as music began to play, she returned the smile then looked forward as the doors opened and light hit our faces, I wasn't quite adjusted as I began to hear gasps and applause. Scarlet began to walk up to the stage, I followed because as her friend she asked me to make a speech. We made it to the stage as the music stopped, the pack Sat down quietly and sam began to speak again "scarlet, as a New shifter do you promise to fulfill your role as a third and as a pack member, to uphold this pack and protect it with your life?" scarlet paused for a moment probably surprised she was the third, a female beta, "I swear it" she said with confidence, "please have your friend verify this" sam said, I walked up to the Mic. I noticed a few stares which made me blush, "scarlet will be a great third, I know this because in the four years we have been best friends and pack mates I got to know her. I hope you all will get to know her as the bubbly, caring, protective, supportive friend I know, I also know that with scarlet as third she will listen and take your opinion into consideration. Scarlet is the perfect choice for third, she will care for you all as her own, and provide a safe pack." I finished and stepped away from the Mic, I saw scarlet wipe her eyes and the crowd began to cheer. Sam nodded and the pack went quiet, "scarlet Moore, I accept you as third and we welcome you. Now please show us your wolf" scarlet stepped back from the Mic and away from people, taking a running leap she shifted into a skinny, tall, beautiful rusty colored wolf, black fur mixed with her pelt, her eyes changed from a grey to her wolves bright Orange orbs, both ears where sleeved in black and her tail was fluffy. I smiled at her as she seemed to smile a wolf smile at me, the pack began to shift and howl, Sam was a fox so you stayed the same, scarlet joined in their howling and began to walk around touching her nose to their necks in a hug, as they accepted her.
