After Scarlet and I had reported the message back to Sam he went a little crazy on border patrols, I remember when i said dillian's name his face twisted into a angry and unreadable expression and he sat there for a moment, suddenly Alex and Jake came running down the stairs they both seemed concerned and angry at the same time, "Where is he? What does he want?" Jake asked quickly, Sam looked between the two and then looked to Scarlet "Alex, Scarlet round up patrols, i want patrols every hour switch the wolves up on time schedules so no one patrols over time, all borders.. Ari you are not to leave the house without telling me, I would prefer you to have a wolf with you at all times in case of an accident." Sam spoke very seriously about this and I nodded I could understand his concern "Sam what did he mean, when he said he would get revenge... did you do something to him?" I asked quietly looking down, even without looking at Sam I could feel the stare he was giving me it was mixed emotions with mostly denial, 'I will tell you later' Sam mind linked me. there was an awkward silence before Scarlet ran off i assumed she was going to rally up wolves for patrols, Sam looked at me and grabbed my hand i sighed still feeling that mate pull. i followed Sam up to his bedroom by this time i could feel the emotions radiating off of him as he tried to keep composure, i shut his bedroom door and sat on the bed looking at him "you know you can tell me right... anything" i said he just looked up then back down "a long long time ago, before i was alpha, before my parents and I conquered the pack i met dillian he was the first wolf to know i was a fox, and he accepted me, and as time went on we kinda became friends... kinda like a two man pack, until he met her.." Sam paused and narrowed his eyes as he looked out the window "she was a young wolf, but old enough to shift and they were mates.... I know i am nobody to declare who mates with who, but she... she was evil, she was a cheater and a liar, i watched her leave camp many nights to go off with flings... she even flirted with me and when i tried to bring this to Dillians attention he told me to go to hell because i was just jealous and wanted her for myself.  after the years went by she got bored with her new toy and decided to start acting cruel... i dont know how she avoided feeling the pull but she did and he didn't so he continued to suck up and bow down and do what ever she wanted.... it destroyed him and i didn't want to watch his fate end like that so i left, i left camp and didn't return" Sam moved to sit next to me on the bed I looked up at him "whats so bad about that?" Sam shook his head and grabbed my hand. Scarlet burst in the room "We w-here attacked!" she yelled and gasped for air, Sam stood up and shifted running down the stairs and out the door i soon followed.
