chapter 1.-intro
'You're deep brown eyes captivate me and make me freeze, your dark black hair... Even when messy is always attractive, every detail of you is breath taking, No.. a better word. Intoxicating.'
"Did you hear me?" Sam asked in a concerned manor.
I shake my head quickly and come out of my starring trance, looking into his eyes I saw the confused look portrayed across Sam's face , "n-no... Sorry I was day dreaming" I stuttered praying I wasn't blushing. He shook his head and chuckled, "I said I was going out on patrol.. Do you want to come?" I jumped up and nodded excitedly. Sam walked away from the table leaving his coffee there, and strutted to front door, I was watching the whole time then followed quietly, after shutting the door we started walking around the pack house to the west border and as soon as we were away from hiking trails he took off and jumped shifting into fox form which was way bigger then a regular fox due to the fact Sam was a shifter and of alpha blood. I would have quickly done the same except I was not able to shift until I was fiffteen which was in a few days, he however where already sixteen. Instead I walked along side, trying not to stare or lose myself as I took in the details of his fluffy tail, sharp fangs that almost reached the bottom of his chin, Dusty Orange pelt, and erect pointed ears, I had seen this form of sam multiple times but I was always entranced upon each sight. I smiled and imagined what I would look like... Maybe somewhat like I do now? I was a five foot skinny girl, blue eyes that change colors to green, long auburn colored hair the reached my thighs, and a decent figure. I was lost in the thought, suddenly a stick snapped somewhere in the distance, a threatening snarl came from sams jaws as he bristled his fur, I could already smell a rouge. Quickly sam shot off towards the west border, as I ran after I heard growls and a few whimpers some I recognized as his. Speeding up in concern I dodged a tree and found large paw prints.. 'wolf' I thought, then I heard a loud whimper that drowned out other noises, I didn't recognize the painful cry. The sickening sound died down soon after and I came to a small clearing, a large grey and silver wolf lay on its side in a pool of crimson, no longer breathing I knew sam killed it. His Orange pelt was stained with a few droplets of blood coming from a bite on the back of his neck, he stopped to sniff the air then began dragging the wolf's body to the border leaving it there as a message to other rogues. With a swift turn and disgusted look sam kicked dust over the paw prints, marked the border, and with a huff of aggravation motioned for me to follow as we headed back to the pack house.
