Chapter 11: Forgotten

Bill sat on his bed, staring directly at Will's untouched bed. His body didn't feel like moving today. Like every other day, he laid in his bed, Tad bringing him food to survive. To thrive and move around.

Bill was even forced to take drinks of water every so often.

Like he deserved it.

Besides.

Pi-Mo wanted nothing to do with him.

Bill lost that sparkle in his eyes, and the funny attitude was no more. Will had been gone for weeks, and he knew he wasn't coming back.

He could've saved him, but he was just too weak.

The blame was his own, he knew that much.

His brother depended on him, and he let him slip through his fingers like nothing. Some part of him hoped Will was alive, and well. Or escaped from those horrible humans.

Bill narrowed his eyes, Will's thoughts filling his head. He felt Will. He was somewhere. Somewhere dark. And cold.

~[-^-]~

Will, now in Reverse Falls, was chained to the floors by the blue chains, restricted to move any farther than he could.

He wanted Bill.

He sobbed every single day for him.

The cold floors stung his skin, aching. He's tried to stay hopeful. He's tried to smile and laugh like Bill did.

But the humans would enter everyday, beating and abusing him to their desired needs. Bruises and cuts covered his skin, lining up his arms and legs.

Everyday, Will screamed. Cold blood dripped down his head, clouding his thoughts, his feeling to live.

Those humans, they've taken the control of him, like a parasite. It was eating at his brain, making him numb to any physical pain.

"I want it back." Will sobbed, hugging himself.

How Bill would take him on hunts through the woods.

How Tad taught him how to make himself stronger.

How Pi-Mo would put their safety before his own.

He'd remember how Bill would hug him tightly, whispering sweet words into his ears.

"Please,"

"I want it back."

~A Very Long LONG Time Later~

Weirdmageddon

The townspeople of Gravity Falls all look up to the sky in fear as Bill grows in size, becoming a rotating pyramid-like abomination with six arms and a pure black form with multicolored energy.

Bill returns to his normal form and floats down to the town, announcing that he will be the lord and master of Gravity Falls for all eternity.

Although, that was a stretch for the townspeople. This was a floating dorito for all they cared. There was no way it can do damage.

Yeah..they were proven wrong.

Very quickly.

The townspeople don't react kindly to the display, urging Bill and his friends to get out of town. Bill didn't seem to be too interested in that.

He knew the Pines family were trying to destroy his hard work.

Days and days go by, the madness and eyebats turning the townspeople into stone.

Bill sat on his throne, thoughts clouding his mind. Was this..enough?

He had everything at his fingertips. He could make anything happen, the imaginable power surging through his body.

Even after all that, he still felt..empty.

In this town, this planet, he felt this unnerving silence.

It's been so long..

He felt almost a pulling sensation, like he was supposed to do something..

He'd almost felt like something was missing.

But.

He never figured it out.

It's been too long.

Eventually, the Pines family destroyed Bill's plans, sending him back to stone.

It was an uncomfortable situation, but Bill found a way to break free.

Eventually.

Years and years go back and that's when it hit him. All his thoughts were back in place.

His brother.

Is that why Bill decided to come back?

How could he have forgotten his own kind?

He promised..

Bill finally broke free from his confines, exhausted and sensitive from sitting there for so long. A long breath filled his lungs. This didn't make any sense, he was sure he would get out later, not now. Did time pass while he was out?

A small pale hand extended towards him. Bill flinched, eyes glued to the hand above him. With hair falling out of place, Bill took the stranger's hand in his.

Bill stared at the stranger, eyes glassed with tears. This male was older, yet Bill could see the small innocent smile on his face. Baby blue eyes stared back at him, the little freckles scattered his cheeks, eyes piercing into Bills.

There was something familiar about those eyes…

Then it hit him. Right in the head, he knew. And it was confirmed when tears collected in his eyes.

“You know,” The stranger spoke with a small voice. “It’s been years since I last saw my brother..and even then it was just for a little while...You’re pretty much the only family that's still alive..”

Bill tried to swallow, but he found that his throat felt like sandpaper. All he managed to do was croak out one word. “Will..Why?” It came out as more of a plea.

He couldn’t stop himself, he wanted to ask why they were so different, why everything felt so wrong, why Will would ever look at him like that. Like they were playing a game of hide and seek, and Will found him. But, this isn't a game.

Bill forgot about him, how could he ever look him in the eye the same?

He didn’t deserve to be forgiven. He killed Will's innocence, he destroyed their lives, he hurt everyone, and yet here Will was, relieved that Bill was alive and well. Bill thought that Will should go because of all the things that he had done.

He could see the scars aligning his little brother's arms, older and deeper than Bill could apprehend.

How could he let Will get hurt like this. Bill deserved to be hated. He deserved to have nothing again. Why did he have to be so selfish?

But the bluenete just kept staring at him, like he understood everything. Will helped the blonde up, coaxing him into his arms. Will's soft hands made the blonde relax and breathe again.

“Please don’t leave me,” Bill whispered, the words breaking down inside him. His chest felt too tight.

Those words came from Will's mouth once, and now he was the one being weak.

The one who wanted attention.

Will nodded softly, pulling back to wipe the stray tear away with his thumb.

“Don’t worry...You won’t be alone. We’ll always have each other now.” Will soothed.

"You should hate me." Bill blurts, eyes glazed in anger. "You have to hate me. I abandoned you. I never came back."

"Bill..I thought you died..I just wanted you back.." A single tear ran down Will's cheek, making Bill want to slap himself for causing his twin any more distress.

Instead, Bill grabbed the hem of Will's shirt, tugging it downwards until the younger boy was now in his arms.

"You're better than this," Bill muttered.

Tears fell down Will's face, which was pale enough, just shocked Bill was here.

"You're better than me."
