~Author's Note
I do wish Cameron and I were friends or did know each other in real life, but I don't know much about him. I'm doing the best I can to make all Cameron's dialogues sound like something he would say.
Yay! My 20th chapter ! :)

It took forever for Friday to come. But it's only the fifth day of school since Winter Break. It's crazy, it's like Winter Break never even happened. But now that it was Friday, Cam could meet my parents and we could finally go on our date. Which movie we were gonna watch? What should I wear? I have to look impressive. Maybe I could wear one of the outfits Cameron bought me, that would really impress him.
After opening my locker, I saw a beautiful bouquet of roses in my locker. This had Cameron written all over it. It even had a card stuck in it. I read aloud what the card said,
Madison,
A beautiful bouquet of roses for even more beautiful girl. Enjoy the roses. I can't wait for our date tonight.
Signed,
Cam.
P.S. - I'd be even happier if you wore one of the outfits we bought the other day. You'd look beautiful in it.
The crowd around me that appeared in thin air starred at me in awe and started tearing up. Did they really want to be associated with Cameron that bad? I heard one girl crying saying 'Why couldn't I be Cameron's girlfriend?' and another one saying 'I'd kill to be her.' Is that what everyone thought? That Cam and I were dating? I started hearing footsteps behind me. I had no doubt that it was Brooklynn and her Brook-bots. I mean who else could it be?
"Pretty flowers." She said smiling mischievously snatching the card Cameron wrote for me out of my hand. She read it, and then tore it into pieces and then took the flowers and stomp on them a few times. All she wanted to do was break me, but it wouldn't work. Not this time. She couldn't break me no matter how hard she tried.
A bunch of people saw what she did and started bashing her and bad-mouthing her. What goes around comes around. Her Brook-bots were looking awfully stupid; standing there with a blank look on their face as their leader were being destroyed by the public eye. Embarrassed enough, Brooklynn and her Brook-bots ran away in fear and humiliation. Today couldn't get any better.
"Hey babe." Cameron said walking up behind me. I guess it could get better. I'm officially his babe now.
"Did you see?" I said gesturing to the ground, which left Brooklynn's disastrous mess.
"Oh yeah, I saw. She's just jealous because of our date? It's what she's always wanted."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, Brooklynn thought by dating me that it would boost her popularity, and it probably would. So when she asked me out freshmen year, I turned her down. She was pretty pissed."
"Oh. Well you missed her and her Brook-bots run away, it was hilarious."
"What Brook-bots?" Cameron said laughing.
"Yeah, that's my own little unique name for them."
"That's classic. I'm dying!" Cameron said laughing uncontrollably. "But the flowers dying doesn't matter. What we have right now is what matters." He said kissing my forehead. "C'mon, let's go to class." He said grabbing my hand. Everyone we walked past was eyeing us like we were Beyoncé and Jay-Z. But we weren't. We were Cameron and Madison.

So it is confirmed that I will be on the school news channel! Starting next week, I'll be with Gavin, co-anchoring on the school news channel. I'm one step closer to living my dream. I had to text my mom this. She'll be glad to know. Before pressing send, I accidentally bumped into Nash.
"Oh, sorry Nash, I didn't see you."
"It's cool. But you and Cam are still on for tonight right?"
"Yeah, dinner and a movie I believe." I said trying not to sound too excited. I think that went well.
"Okay, well here's a piece of advice, don't be late and try not to order any salad at your dinner."
"Why? I love salad! Did you hear about the—"
"Madison! This isn't about you loving salad or not. It's about Cam. He gets kinda emotional about salad."
"Well, the nutrients that salad gives does make a person—"
"Madison, salad was the last meal Cameron's dad ate before he passed away. Watching salad commercial or strolling by people that eats salad, just makes Cam really uncomfortable."
"Oh. Okay. Thanks for the tip." Looks like I can't order any salad.
"Yeah. No prob. But what was up with Brooklynn this morning? That was not cool what she did with those flowers, plus I'm the one who helped pick them out."
"Yeah, she's been on my case lately." I said looking over my shoulder.
"Not only your case, but your conversations as well." Nash said gesturing me to turn around, seeing Brooklynn and her Brook-bots looking directly at us murmuring to each other.
"Yeah, she has problems."

What do you think Brooklynn was trying to do?
Poor Cam, he can't think of salad without it reminding him of his Dad.😁😁 as funny as that sounds, it's still sad.
But thanks for reading. Sorry for the short chapter.
