Your POV

I woke to someone yelling my name. When I opened my eyes I saw Sora leaning over me.

"Sora, what are you doing?"

"Making sure your awake."

"Sora, move now." Said a voice.

It was Riku.

"Hey Riku."

"Hey (Y/n). How ya feeling?"

"Good. Why do you ask?"

"Because you was unconscious for a few hours."

"Really? Wow."

I was listening to Sora and his friends conversation when a heartless appeared in the room. My keyblade appeared in my hands.

"Guy's! We need to get out of here! Now!!!!"

Riku helped (y/n) off the bed, but she couldn't stand so he had to carry her. We all ran out of the hotel, and then ran to Merlins study. When we got to his study, we went inside, Merlin saw (y/n) in Riku's arms, he pointed to the bed, Riku sat (y/n) down on the bed, Merlin looked at her legs, and said, "Your legs are broken."

"What!! How? I didn't do anything to them! Or at least I don't think I did." (Y/n) replied.

"Calm down. Your legs should heal soon. You just need to rest until they are healed."

(Y/n) sighed, "Ok, but how long will it take for them to heal?"

"That I don't know."

"(Y/n)," Riku started. She looked up at him. He sighed, "Nevermind."

"Leon." Said Merlin after a few minutes of silence.

"Yes?" I replied.

"I need to speak to you."

"Ok."

We walked out of the room. Merlin looked at me, and said, "That girl. Does she look familiar to you?"

"Yes sir. She does. She looks like her mother. Why do you ask?"

"You know why." He replied smiling.

"Oh no. Don't bring her up, ok? I don't want to talk about her right now."

He looked at me then walked back into his study. I followed, and when I walked in (y/n) was looking at me for some reason.

Riku's POV

(Y/n) was staring at the man that Merlin said was Leon. I nudged her arm making her look up at me. I could tell that by the look in her eyes that she somehow know what Merlin and Leon was talking about.

"Riku, can I talk to you for a minute?" Asked Leon.

"Sure." I replied following Leon outside the study.

"What is it that you need to talk to be about?" I asked.

"It's about your friend (y/n)."

"What about her?"

"Did she ever tell you who her father was?"

"No. She said that she never knew him. Why?"

"I know who her father was, and who could have been if her mother hadn't fallen in love with him."

My eyes widen. "You knew her mother and father?!"

"Yes. I'm gonna tell you a story that no one has ever heard. Fourteen/Fifteen years ago I met (y/n)'s mother. She was a beautiful woman. I loved her very much, and she loved me too. We did everything together. We fought battles against the heartless, joked, laughed, etc. But when the man that become her father came around. Her mother left me for him. Everytime I saw them together all I wanted to do was go kill him for taking her away from me. But what I didn't know was that her mother was gonna have a baby when I first met her. Apparently she actually loved that man before me. I didn't know that until her mother gave birth to (Y/n), and her father had died. Her mother died shortly after giving birth, but before she died she told me this 'Find a home for her, make sure she's well protected, and that she makes friends. When you see her again protect her and her friends. If there's a boy that she loves and he loves her please make sure they stay together forever. I want her to grow up to become a beautiful, young woman, and I want her to have a good husband and family. Please Leon protect her even if it costs you your life.' "

"She died after saying that to me, and of course I've kept my promise. I know that you both love each other, and that you'd do anything to make sure the other didn't die. But you can't control what happens to the person you love. I should know I loved her mother, and I couldn't do anything to keep her from dieing. So remember this conversation you may need to tell her one day."

I was surprised at everything that he had told me.

"So the woman that she's been living with all these years isn't her real mother?"

"Nope. She isn't." He replied walking back inside. I stayed outside looking at the water thinking about what he said. I was looking at the water when I heard someone walk out of the study. I turned around only to see (y/n) walking.

"Merlon healed me." She said before I could even ask her how she was walking.
