You twist the last of the water out of your faintly damp hair and knot it in a tight bun you slip on a long t-shirt. Quinton glances at you as you walk into his room.

Quinton grabs his shirt with both fists and pulls it over his head letting it fall on the floor. He climbs into bed and you feel the mattress shift under. The room was dim with a strip of blue LED lights over his bed that twinkle like small stars fading on and off that washed a blue over the both of you.

You bury your face half in your pillow watching him in the silence. He made a sigh and turned to face you "I am just glad you are okay ... if anything had happened to you."

After a while the lights fade out on timer.

You can feel him now closer than ever in the dark as he presses his face on your pillow facing you.

You are both motionless as you try to breathe beautifully and hope you sleep gracefully.

In that small intimate moment of wordless motionless energy you feel small sparks along your body and your heart skipped a beat.

"Just sleep right?" you ask.

"Yeah" his voice drifts as you can hear how tired he is in his voice.

"Thank you for letting me sleep in your bed" you say softly.

"I can keep you safe ..." he mumbles.

And just like that he is asleep as you feel his breathe against your face. You move closer until your lips are almost touching.

In his sleep he slow move embraces you. This moment - this night - right now - you never want to end as you fade to sleep.
