[Chapter 14]

Silently growing in slight anxiousness, thankful much nothing had happened, as the darkness flood the room, looming over us like a sky, leaving us unable to see.

Everyone goes quiet, uncomfortably scared, whimpers and whispers were heard from some, as people blindly walk around in an attempt to go back to the main cell.

After a while of painful bruising, casually bumping into people and walking into some things. A small group managed to remember there way back, trusting them enough to come back, which they somehow did, with better news.

"Yo look, we went back to the bedroom, on our way there we found these!" A young boys voice spoke, turning on a bright light, shining near him.

The crowd cheered on, practically forgetting everything in relief.

Some four teenies carried the flashlights, handing out one to each, making sure everyone got one. Then we started fleeing the room, going our separate ways.

Amilia and i run out of the room, stopping for a moment; "Are we going to go separate ways or together?" I put a question to her. "Mmmmm- I say we change the routine for a little, so let's go separate, I'll be at the room with greenery and a bridge, alright?"

"Meh, ok i guess... Stay safe for me, please" smiling at her, she assured that she'd be fine and wished me luck, going her own way out.

I checked the notifications, demanded we were to be collecting batteries, nine of them immediately remembering what the brunette stated yesterday, realizing it was quite the truth. Sighing, i turned on my handy flashlight, following some unknown people going back to the so called lobby, heading for my bag again.

After a while of walking behind them, trying not to act suspicious, picking up two batteries on my way back. We arrive at them room, taking the entry we awaited, i ran to my bag, storing the batteries i found in it. I pulled out a sunflower scented perfume, lightly spraining it around my body, as an attempt to ease my mind a bit.

Immediately leaving, i run out again, turning my flashlight back on, alone, i begin my search in the longing darkness.

I slowly headed to the theater, thoughts ringing in my head leaving me in my mind.

'What if something happens... I can't see much, this allows the chance of getting caught by anything a higher chance. Wait- what if one of the two mascots catch me? I know i have a flashlight but my vision is only to the front, they might come from behind me...'

Quickly turning around, my mind starting to play tricks on me again as i look behind me walking backwards.

That's when my back bump into something rough, immediately gasping, looking forward once again, slowly calming down when i come to realize it was a wall.

"Oh..." I must have been lost in thoughts enough for me to not realize I've reached the theater.

I grew much more scared than usual, according to what i know, the theater is too dark and quiet, basically no one there.

Suddenly, i hear a rapid swish far to my side, leaving me frozen in place, horrified. I stubble into the unknown darkness, pointing my flashlight around as i spin around looking for anything that caused it, that's when i hear a ear piercing alarm, sending my hands straight to the sides of my head, covering my poor ears.

Completely forgetting about the flashlight in my hands, it dropped to the floor, causing the light turning off. I panicked, bending down, swiping my hands across the floor to pick it up, finding it after a few seconds. I turn it back on, checking for any damages, including nothing much but a small scratch.

I winced in slight pain when i payed back my attention to the ringing sound somewhere off not too far away, letting the entry to the door emit a flickering, dim orange lighting, softly tinning the room with the vibrant orange light.

I slowly approached the door, holding onto to it's door frame as i check around for the coast. After assuring myself it's clear, i slowly followed to the source of the light, flinching softly at the loud alarm, getting louder the more i approach it.

I peaked from the door, looking down on the floor, where i find a symmetric path to god knows where, across the room, going through another hall. It glowed and lightly flickered through the darkness of the room.

"Ughhh... I'm so deaf, deaf forever-" i cringed at the pain in my head, erupting off into a headache. My words were cut off soft thumping on the wooden floor, growing louder and louder, hinting it was getting closer.

I peaked again from the door frame, trying to hide as much as i can as well as get a great view from my spot, careful. Darting my eyes around the next room, curiosity fills me to the brim with a bit of fear. A small creature enters the room before me, it's colour orange, vibrant like the path it walked over, it's anatomy comparing too many similarities to a reptile's, almost likely a mini dinosaur. It's eyes a bit bigger to it's head, as well as small, sharp teeth.

Lost in my admiration to full fill my curiosity, forgetting my current reality and all it's problem, remembering only one; 'this thing looks like it can really bite.' i pulled my self back, away from the door frame, resting my back against the wall. I close my eyes, sighing heavily, wanting this to end as much as i fear this place.

Just as i begin to slowly calm down, i was pulled by a tight grip into a corner of the darkness. I yelp loudly, almost screaming, reminding myself of my previous thoughts; i panic profusely, desperately trying to escape the heavy hold but in the same time trying not to move much.

I squeeze my eyes shut, feeling a light shine through my eye lids, hearing a something say-
