Problem Child
Shota sighed softly, exhausted from the new vigilante running loose. He was already annoying him. Usually, Shota was fine with vigilantes, but this one seemed to actively seek him out.
So of course, the police decided to have him help out on the case of this vigilante.
The vigilante was a boy, probably a very small teenager. He had an unknown quirk, most guessed that it was some sort of weaker agility quirk, and he was a demon. He was called Yamikumo.
Anyway, Shota was putting his capture weapon and goggles on, about to go on his nightly patrol.
He walked out of the apartment door, and climbed up the side of a building. He stood on the roof, scanning the city from above. Shota then began running across the roof, jumping to the next one when he got to the ledge.
It was a quiet night. Crime rates had been lower ever since All Might's debut. Shota didn't really like the hero. His presence made the rest of the pros slack off. It was irrational.
Then a gunshot rang out in a dark alleyway.
Shota ran over to the alleyway, only to see Yamikumo fighting a villain twice his size. There was a teenage boy sat on the wall behind him, shaking.
Yamikumo was concentrated on his fight, dodging and weaving through the man's punches. He then caught his foot on a loose rock, accidentally twisting his ankle as he threw a loose punch at the villain, hitting his side.
Shota quickly leapt in, and kicked the nameless villain in the face, knocking him out. He turned to face the vigilante, who was talking to the teenager. Or, trying too.
"Hey, are you ok? Do you have any injuries?" Yamikumo asked. His voice was deeper than Shota remembered from their previous encounters. The teenage boy shook his head violently, clearly terrified of the smaller boy.
Right. Yamikumo's a vigilante, and a demon.
"You sure?"
The boy nodded and scrambled out of the alleyway, causing the vigilante to sigh rather loudly. He then turned to face Shota, and it seemed like he smiled under his face mask. "Hey Eraser! Thanks for the save"
Shota sighed, "its my job, Problem Child. Unfortunately it's also my job to turn you in."
"But why? I haven't used a quirk at all, so technically I'm not breaking any laws" the problem child stated.
Shota stared at him, "you fly around everywhere, and demons can't fly".
Yamikumo merely shrugged, "what's the point in having wings if you can't fly?"
He groaned, "whatever. You need to get off that foot, it looks sprained"
The demon said, "eh, I've had much worse" before instantly scolding himself, "stupid deku, you can't go around saying that.."
Shota promptly shot his capture weapon at Yamikumo, but the vigilante flapped his wings strongly, sending him upwards in an instant.
"Get back here, Problem Child."
"I'd love too, but I'd rather not get arrested." Yamikumo starting to fly off, and Shota decided to just let him. There were more important things to do than try to arrest a vigilante who was only really trying to help.

I climbed back into my room through my window, my body full of adrenaline from the fight. While I became a vigilante in order to help people, I love the feeling I get after it all.
Honestly, sometimes I don't know how I'm able to do it. I don't eat nearly enough, and now I only get around 2 hours of sleep.
I guess I'm just used to functioning with little to no food.
I took off my mask, belt, and the rubber cap to cover my broken horn. Then I got snuggled up in bed, falling asleep in an instant.

Bakugou grumbled as he walked down the stairs, hearing what was on tv. His parents were watching the news, and all anyone talked about was that stupid demon vigilante.
He didn't care. Once he became a hero, he'd arrest the vigilante easily. Of course, he wouldn't be going into UA until another 7 years, but that was unimportant.
What was important to him was training. Sure, he knew he was strong, but it never hurt to train more.
He had to be the best of the best, even better than All Might. After all, he had the strongest quirk out of all the stupid extras in his class!
Even the shitty teachers agreed with him!
But back to the point, he went into the kitchen and got himself some toast for breakfast, aggressively slapping butter onto the toast and eating it.
Since it was Sunday, Bakugou had plenty of free time for training his quirk.
He rushed outside without saying anything to his parents, ignoring the shouts from his mom.

Shinsou Hitoshi was fascinated by Yamikumo. He hadn't met the vigilante face to face, but he had watched every video involving him that he could find online.
Yamikumo was a demon with an unknown quirk. To Shinsou, he was a sort of inspiration. Shinsou had a villainous quirk that was no good for physical fighting, and yet this vigilante was fighting completely quirkless. And, demons were considered villainous, like his quirk.
So this kid saving people as a vigilante gave Shinsou hope that he actually could become a hero.
Even with a brainwashing quirk like his.
A/N
This chapter is a sort of filler before we get on with the plot.
Keep in mind, currently the first years are all 7.
I hope you all liked it
