I found the picture above funny so yeah.
I felt happiness, relief and joy. I never thought in a million years I would be in a relationship with an old friend. He is also the first person to have cared about me.
"Hey Bede! I wish you luck against the challenger!" I smile and give him a hug.
"They don't stand a chance!"
Bede only smiled. I could see he wasn't used to this but then again, nor was I.
"Young Bede will do well." I turned around to see Opal, who was in her little electric wheelchair thing. (I seriously cannot remember the name of those things.)
I have been improving my ways of dealing with stress, an example would be I tell Bede whenever I'm feeling stressed and we sit down and he calms me down. Most of the Gym's budget has gone towards making the Gym more accessible for Opal and more comforting for me. And that wasn't even mine or Opal's idea. It was Bede's

I sat in my spectator room which was a new addition to the Gym. Watching the match was fun, Bede unfortunately lost but he gave out the badge with a smile on his face. He has changed. I am proud of him and myself, we are better people now.

"You did well." I smile and place a kiss on his forehead. "I wish I could battle you someday."
Bede only stays silent but then he looks like he remembers something.
"Y/N, you know that shiny Eevee the chairman gave you?"
I nod.
"Well, I ran into those Pokemon Poachers you had mentioned and guess what they had with them."
"Eevee, My Eevee."
Bede nods. "I got her back."
I then notice that I have started to cry and then I smiled, and thanked him as much as I could.

And that's my story. I bet you are wondering 'what happens next?"
An, oh, you will know, but all in due time.
I am proud to say I am who I am today, and I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for Bede.
