It was first period on Monday, and fifth year Gryffindor and Slytherin were in Charms Class.

Sometimes, this lesson could be quite exciting and fun-filled. Other times, it was difficult and would result in hours of late night studying to make up for the lack of work completed in the lesson.

James and Sirius, much to the annoyance of poor Remus, seemed to be naturals at the majority of their subjects, meaning they were likely to pass any exam without studying (Not that they'd study anyway).

Flitwick's mood seemed to have slowly decreased throughout the lesson. He had obviously overestimated the skills of his pupils, causing much stress amongst them. The three mischief makers, however, were bored.

So bored that even Remus had stopped listening to Professor Flitwick and was doing his History of Magic homework.

James was doodling on a scrap piece of parchment and Sirius was asleep, face down on his desk, in what looked like an extremely uncomfortable position.

"Psst... Moony...do you reckon that if I was to turn this into an aeroplane I could throw it at Flitwick and get away with it?" He whispered, pointing at the parchment with a scribble reassembling Snape tied to one of the quidditch goal posts.

"Eh, probably. He's too busy shouting at Avery and Rosier. He wouldn't notice." The tall Gryffindor shrugged his shoulders, tapping his foot to a silent beat.

"Well I'm gonna try it." He grinned, started folding the slightly crumpled parchment and took aim. Making sure it was in line with the back of his head, he swung his arm forward and launched it over at the unaware charms professor.

It looped several times before hitting its mark. Just as he turned around it hit him. Right in the centre of his forehead.

The room went silent with shock, even fear.

"Who threw that?" He shouted his voice echoing across the room. He glared at each and everyone of his students.

Unfortunately Sirius chose that exact moment to wake up with a yell of "The goblins are coming!" Then promptly fell back to sleep.

From then on the day only got worse.
