Today's youth group day. I just got out of school. The second day is always worse than the first. It wasn't that bad though. Lucy, Eden, and Wren are very excited for this evening.

I get into the car with Moriah, who picked me up today. "How was your day?" She asks. "Second days are harder," I sigh. She nods, "Yes, but youth group is tonight!" I smile, "I know! I can't wait!"

I crank up the Air1, and we jam the whole way home. "Luke is volunteering with the youth tonight so that you don't feel overwhelmed," she informs me. I smile, "It's gonna be so much fun!"

"Be good, be safe, and have fun!" Joel says kissing my head. I smile, "Luke's gonna bring me home, right?" He nods, "Yeah. If anything comes up, just call, okay?" I nod, "Yeah. Bye Joel. See ya later!"

I walk to the church door where Luke is waiting. "Hey love, I'm so glad you're here," he says, hugging me. I smile, "I'm glad I'm here too." We walk to the basement. Luke introduces me to the youth pastor, Paul.

"Lucy! Eden! Wren!" I squeal, running over to greet my friends. "We're so glad you're here," Eden says, while hugging me. I smile, "Me too. Have you guys met Luke?"

They shake their heads, and I quickly introduce them to Luke. He shakes their hands, and greets them. "Okay, if everybody would find a seat please," Paul says.

I take a seat with my friends, while Luke goes up front by Paul. "Kids, this is Luke Smallbone. He's going to help me out today. Also give a big, warm welcome to Andria," Paul announces. Everybody turns to me and waves. I smile, "Hi, everybody."

We have a sermon, play some games, eat some snacks, and then youth group is over.

"You know what we should do next?" Eden asks. "A sleepover!" Wren exclaims, reading her best friend's mind. "Guys, how about this weekend at my place. I'll have Joel call your parents," I suggest. "It'll be so much fun!" Lucy squeals. I hug my friends good-bye, and walk outside with Luke.

"How was youth group tonight?" He asks. "Fun! Lucy, Eden, Wren, and I are planning a sleepover!" I exclaim. He raises an eyebrow, "A sleepover already?" I nod, "Yes! Do you think Moriah and Joel will be okay with that?" He shrugs, "You'll have to ask them yourself whenever we get home."

He pulls up to the house. I turn down the radio, which is playing Higher by Unspoken. "Thanks Luke! I'll see ya!" I exclaim. He kisses the top of my head, "Be good."

I walk into the house. Joel and Moriah are sitting on the couch watching a movie together. "Oh hello, my dear. How was youth group?" Joel asks, pausing the movie.

I sit down next to him, "It was super fun! Can I have a sleepover on Friday?" He raises an eyebrow, "This Friday? As in, two days from now?" I nod, "Yeah. Can I? Please Joel, please!"

He turns to Moriah. "Joel, I'm having my girls weekend with Courtney. If you and Luke are feeling brave, I'd say do it," she says. "Please Joel," I practically beg. He rolls his eyes, "Fine, you can have your sleepover."

I wrap my arms around his neck, "Yay! Thank you so much! I'll let my friends know!" His smile quickly changes, "Friends? You mean more than one? I thought you were only having one friend over."

I shake my head, "No, I'm having three. Eden, Wren, and Lucy, my friends from youth group." He holds his hands up, "You can't have three friends over." I nod, "Yes I can. You just said I could have my sleepover." He sighs, "Fine. If I have no other choice."

I hug him again, "Thanks Joel! This is gonna be the best weekend ever!" He rolls his eyes, "I know, I know." I finish the movie with them.

"I'm glad you had a good day, Andria. Sleep well," Moriah says, hugging me. I smile, "Goodnight Mo. Love you." She nods, "Love you too."

"You must love me a ton," Joel says. "Why?" I ask. "I'm hosting a house of your crazy friends," he replies. I shrug, "Hey bro, you pretty much volunteered. But I do love you." He smiles, "I know. Goodnight darling. Let me know if you need anything." I hug him, "I will. Love you." He kisses the top of my head, "Love you too."

I go upstairs, and change into my pajamas. After I've done some reading, I get into bed, and text my friends. I tell them that the sleepover is on. I put on my music, roll over, and go to sleep.
