Chapter 6: Chapter six is done

❀~~~~❀~~~~❀~~~~❀

Taehyung tried to find Jungkook for the rest of the lunch time, but he couldn't find him anywhere. When the next class had started, he waited for him to come but he never did. At first he thought he was running late, on purpose or not, but he never showed up.

Taehyung was definitely starting to become worried. Jungkook was his priority, not school, and therefore he stormed out of the classroom and searched for him more seriously by following his angel instincts and feeling.

He realised he had left the school building, and so he tried to track him up again, and after an hour or so, he found him outside an abandoned school, sitting on a swing alone. "Jungkook?" Taehyung breathed out in relief.

The male on the swing quickly shot up his gaze, seeming genuinely surprised to see his classmate. "Did you ditch school to look for me?" he asked surprised.

"Well, I was the reason why you left, aren't I?" he asked, approaching the male and sat on the swing beside him. "I'm sorry for what I said, but you judged it wrongly," he began, but before he could continue, Jungkook started talking.

"I know I did," he said quietly, "I just overreacted. I know what you meant. It's my fault."

Taehyung stared at him amazed. "So why didn't you come back to school?" he asked.

"I just - I don't know, okay?" Jungkook said, "I just wanted to get out of there."

"I'm sorry for making you feel that way," Taehyung apologised.

"It's not you, okay?"

"'It's not you, it's me', right?" Taehyung chuckled, causing the other to smile as well. "Can I ask why you misjudged me earlier?"

"I'm just being sensitive," he said, but the angel didn't give up so easily.

"Every human is sensitive when it comes to something personal," he said, "it's only natural."

Jungkook sighed as he nodded his head. "Remember how my dad kept his distance with you?" he asked as Taehyung nodded his head in response. "Well, he thought maybe you were my boyfriend, or something, as I never bring anyone home, or even tell people where I live."

"Boyfriend?" Taehyung asked.

"Yeah," he nodded his head, "I came out to my parents during my Freshman year of high school. My mother has learned to accept it, although she thinks every male I interact with are flirting or my crush or something, whilst my dad thinks I've slept with everyone and will become this big rebel and run off with him."

"I'm surprised," Taehyung said, "not over the fact that you're homosexual, but that you're telling me this. We met yesterday, but still you're opening up to me so quickly." Taehyung didn't know whether he should've kept that to himself. But Jungkook didn't seemed to be angry about it.

"I guess you can say that I do like you," he smiled, "you're not bothered by my sexuality?"

"I am utterly indifferent to sexual orientation."

Jungkook frowned. "Is that a Supernatural reference?" he asked.

"Caught," Taehyung giggled, "but I mean it."

"So what's yours then? Straight?"

Taehyung didn't know how to answer. He didn't have a sexual orientation. He was an angel. "Uhm, I'm..." he started, not knowing what he could say. What would make my human the happiest? "I - I'm gay too," he just said.

A gentle smile curved on the human's lips. "I'm glad I'm not alone then."

Taehyung smiled back. "Me too. I was worried I wouldn't make any friends when I arrived yesterday at school, but I've changed my mind," he said, "you changed my mind."

Jungkook frowned. "How come?" he asked confused.

"I - I was afraid I'd be the only one to be different, but I'm glad I'm not," he said. Actually, Taehyung meant what he said. He was indeed different, but not in the way he made his human believe in. He didn't mind one bit about Jungkook's sexuality. He was still his human.

"You're still quite annoying though," Jungkook joked as he jumped off of the swing he sat on, giving the angel quite a coy smile before he started running away.

Taehyung jumped off as well, chasing the other. Of course, if he took it seriously, he'd get to him at any time he wanted - if he could use his wings that was - but he couldn't. One, because of the magical potion he took everyday. Two, he still hadn't grown them out fully yet, and therefore he wasn't allowed to fly with them. Three, he was a scary cat when it came to angelic powers. Four...well, did he need more reasons to not use them?

"Why are we running?" Taehyung laughed as he was still chasing the other male.

Jungkook was laughing as well, surprisingly. He had opened to Taehyung so quickly in a short time it surprised him, but he just felt comfortable with the transfer student. There was something about him that just attracted him like a magnet. As if they were destined to meet.

"What are you doing?" asked a sudden stern voice that surprised Taehyung and made him stop right in his tracks.

"Seokjin sunbaenim," he muttered surprised when the said angel had appeared out of nowhere. Of course he knew both how to fly and teleport; teleport was actually a part of flying, just at such high speed it would be considered what humans would call teleporting.

"You're supposed to stay focused, Taehyung," he said, nodding his head towards the human who wasn't able to see him, who was still running around like a crazy person.

"I am focused," he said, "we're just playing around. Can't you tell he's opening up to me? That's a good thing, hyung, that he likes me."

"Just don't go overboard with feelings here," he said with a slight glare, almost looking to be mocking, before he disappeared again. Taehyung didn't know what he exactly meant by what he said, but he continued to fool around with Jungkook until they had become tired enough to collapse on the ground beside each other.

The males went home later than usual. At first Jungkook wanted to drag time so his parents wouldn't realise he hadn't been at school, but he ended up having fun with his new friend, and they had a deeper conversation he thought he'd ever have with anyone, at least so soon.

"See you tomorrow?" Taehyung asked with a bright smile, overjoyed by how they spent their day.

Jungkook nodded. "See you." He tried to go back to his chic self and stayed calm, but the moment he met eyes with the other again, he couldn't help but break out in a smile before waving at him and turned around to enter his own house they stood in front of.

Taehyung pretended to have walked in the other direction until the human was out of sight, and then proceeded to go back to the house; he was careful not to be seen when passing the windows, and eventually he managed to climb up the same tree he had spent the past night in when he made sure nothing had happened to his human. As soon as he saw Jungkook enter his room Taehyung had the view of, he started stripping off his clothes.

It made the angel uncomfortable to watch at first, and so he glanced awkwardly away, not staring, but still knowing every footstep he took around the room. Eventually, he had put on some pyjamas pants as he sat with his laptop on his desk. Taehyung could see his side view, and he seemed to be typing a lot on his keyboard. At first he thought the human was playing a game, but he kept on hitting different letters, and sooner or later he realised he was writing.

Taehyung wondered what he was writing. Was it something personal, or was it just homework? He doubted it was the latter, as Jungkook wasn't the type to do homework this late, although he could easily pass having the personality trait of not doing them at all.

He wanted to know what he wrote, so he tried to come up with different scenarios where he could ask, but he couldn't think of any without sounding either nosy or that the fact that knew he wrote. He tried to lean in closer to possibly get a small look on the laptop screen, but as he tried to get closer, he accidentally broke a twitch, causing it to make a loud noise, which caught the human's attention; he jerked his head up from the keyboard and stared out of the window.

Taehyung panicked, trying to hide himself behind branches and leaves, hoping he was hiding well when Jungkook had gotten on his feet and opened the window as he glanced outside. He didn't say anything, and so he brushed it off and went back to his laptop again, leaving the window open.

Taehyung could now hear him and sounds coming from inside. He noticed as Jungkook was typing, he was actually reading out loud of what he was writing, and with Taehyung's good hearing, he heard him almost perfectly. He stayed focused, and his theory of Jungkook writing something personal was right - he was writing a story.

"Chapter six is done, finally," he smiled pleased, stretching his fingers, then turning off his laptop and got in his bed, barely pulling the covers over his body and rather just laying there as he seemed to be quite warm.

Taehyung smiled. He never would've guessed Jungkook was the type to sit in his room and write before going to bed. It made him grow more fond of his human.
