It is a word
That I hate the most
Despise even
I call it a cage
A cage that holds
Immature birds
Nonetheless, this is a stop
which teaches abundant of things to me
I have seen and experienced a lot-fragile friendships, life drama, and puppy love

Good memories
I do have
Abundant even
With friends
I laugh, cry, and gossip
We binge-watch movies
Staying up late to talk about our crushes
Crying when they get a girlfriend
Laughing the next day looking at our puffy faces
When the exam comes,
Nervous engulfed us
Unable to study
Could not even focus on remembering our notes
At night
We all sit on the same bed
The bed who belongs to that genius kid
Discussing the exam's topics
We then joke
Asking her to give us her brain
So we don't have to study
After the torturous exam period
We are finally free yet again
And laughing our best laugh
Forgetting the bitterness of a student's life
Even for a moment

Bad memories
I do have too
Get shout by others
Sarcastic remarks and hurtful glances
Look down upon
Whenever I make mistakes
Bully
That is a common thing
Happen to me and others too
As we live with all sorts type of people
I could not move freely
Everywhere I go
Every move I make
I am scared
of the useless judgment

Living here
I am missing out a lot of stories
of families and friends
Being far
Indeed hurt me
But teach me to be an independent,
Self-reliant human
Nevertheless
the most important lesson I've learned
How to live with others
Coping with their behaviors
And suppressing our anger
So not to make a bad atmosphere
In a room that fills with different types of people.
