Just a few of the many Clara-Nightingale-related phrases that Adrien's been hearing over the last month. And, finally, the great day has come. Tomorrow she'll be releasing her new music video online, with many of Adrien's classmates and friends as extras.

He knew this was happening, even planned the episode Frightningale to be released the same day as the music video, but he didn't realise what he missed out on. Nino had told him it was a blast, but watching the video makes him sad. He missed out, because his father said no. Because he doesn't want bad publicity.

He can understand, in a way, but he can't help but wish.

Adrien wonders whether LadyBug is there, whether he's seen her on the screen. Whether she's there, having fun.

The train of thought stops there, interrupted by the appearance of people he knows on the screen. Marinette, Alya, Juleka, Rose, Mylene and Alix are all dancing wildly onscreen, laughing at something. He sighs, and a moment later, the clip has been changed to another. He can still see them, though. His mind keeps replaying the clip.

Adrien sighs, knowing that there's no way around it, and opens a new tab. The music keeps playing, but he types in the web address to Miraculous and logs on. LadyBug's active, to his surprise. She'd said they would make the episode once the music video came out, and it was only released a minute ago.

He wonders whether she was just waiting for the music video to release in another tab.

He doesn't even consider that she might have been waiting for him.

ChatNoir: afternoon, mlady. seen the video?

LadyBug: i did indeed. i'm not going to lie, i was thinking up a few couplets for this episode XD

Adrien beams.

ChatNoir: thats good, bc i suck at poetry XD. i dont know what i was thinking, suggesting a singing episode.

LadyBug: pah, says the author of santa claws

Adrien can't stop himself grinning as he recalls it.

ChatNoir: i can make songs, clearly.

LadyBug: romantic. definitely a trait girls like, i can see why u get tons of valentines.

Adrien frowns.

ChatNoir: how the heck do u know that

She sends back an emoji crying of laughter.

LadyBug: dark cupid??

LadyBug: you even sent me a photo!!

Adrien can't help but be slightly touched. Nearly a year later, she remembers something that boring?

ChatNoir: ya, i remember now. ngl, im impressed you remember!!

LadyBug: memory 100

LadyBug: drawing time?

ChatNoir: right, ya

When he clicks onto the Frightningale episode, he lets LadyBug take control of the dialogue. And man, she's good with those rhymes.

ChatNoir: "a few", yeah?

LadyBug: i may have understated a little

ChatNoir: a little??

ChatNoir: out of curiosity, how many did you write??

There's a pause.

LadyBug: i may have planned the dialogue of the entire episode

ChatNoir: of course u did XD

ChatNoir: im not going to argue, less for me to try and do XDXD

LadyBug: personally, i feel slightly ripped off

LadyBug: a villain literally based on a singer, and we didn't get any chatnoir a++ songs

ChatNoir: rest assured im going to win an academy award for my songs

LadyBug: good luck, academy awards are for actors XD

ChatNoir: you def googled that

LadyBug: moot point

LadyBug: your songs aint winning any academy awards

Adrien changes tabs, quickly searching something and punching the air in victory.

ChatNoir: try googling "oscar best original song"

ChatNoir: all i need is a movie to go with it

LadyBug decides not to reply, and Adrien grins as he realises he's won the argument. They spend several hours drawing the rest of the episode, and he posts it.

LadyBug: i gtg, see you!

Adrien sends a message before he can stop himself.

Not that he'd want to.

ChatNoir: out of curiosity, were you in the music video?

For someone who said she had to go, the reply is very quick.

LadyBug: curiosity killed the cat, you know

And, Adrien realises, very cryptic. The kind of reply that encourages a response. She has to go, but she's lingering to talk to him.

ChatNoir: satisfaction brought it back, mlady

LadyBug: you'll run out of lives, kitty cat

LadyBug: yes, i was in the video. have fun spotting me :D

ChatNoir: WAS THAT A LADYBUG PUN

No response.

ChatNoir: HEY COME BACKKKKKKK

She doesn't, but when Adrien finally closes both tabs, he's smiling.
