"It's been a year," Alya comments. "Can you believe it?"

"Only a year?" Marinette teases. "Seems a lot longer. Or maybe that's because you never stop jabbering on about it."

Honestly, she doesn't mind listening to Alya rant about The Adventures of Tikki and Plagg, because it's interesting to hear first-hand what her fans think about the comic and its future.

"Remember the first episode?" Alya says wistfully. "When it was just LadyBug and Tikki and Nooroo? Before ChatNoir even thought of creating Mr. Pigeon."

"Which one was it?" Marinette asks, pretending to be clueless. She happens to know exactly which episode it is, because she and ChatNoir are planning on recreating it.

"Stormy Weather," Alya says. "The weather girl, remember? Kind of funny, she ended up with the job anyway."

"What happens to Mireille?" Marinette asks, remembering the other girl's name simply because she was rewatching the clips the other day. Alya shrugs.

"Left, I think. I can't remember why, I think they hushed it up a lot. Mireille one day, Aurore the next."

"She does still appear though."

The voice makes Marinette jump, and even though she already knows who it is. She'd know the voice anywhere. She'd probably jump and blush if she was dead.

"True," Alya agrees, moving to let Adrien and Nino form a small circle.

"Why are we discussing this?" Nino asks. "Out of curiosity."

"Today's the one-year anniversary of TP," Alya says. Nino stares.

"Seriously?"

Adrien laughs. Marinette almost swoons on the spot.

"Yup," Alya grins. "On this day one year ago, LadyBug published Stormy Weather."

"The beginning of an era," Adrien agrees.

"An era of Alya not shutting up," Marinette teases. Alya smacks her.

"Okay, okay, we get the idea," she complains. "Still! Do you reckon LadyBug and ChatNoir know?"

"I reckon so," Adrien says, grinning.

"I'd bet money on it," Marinette agrees. Suddenly deciding to take advantage of the situation, she adds, "Actually, I would legitimately bet money that they'll do an episode tribute."

Alya grins.

"An entire episode as tribute? I'm not sure about that, honestly."

"How much?" Marinette grins.

"Five euros," Alya says.

"I'll take that bet," Adrien says. Alya grins.

"I'm so going to message LB and ask her not to."

"That's cheating," Marinette objects. "No messaging LadyBug."

Technically, she won't be breaking the rules.

"I reckon I'll still win," Alya says. "She might write a note, but she's not going to make an entire episode dedicated to the day."

"Find ten euros," Marinette grins.

"You bet," Adrien agrees, and puts a fist out for a fist bump. Marinette obliges.

LadyBug: hey chaton

LadyBug: u ok to draw?

The reply, as always, is fast.

ChatNoir: definitely, mlady. stormy weather 2, for the anniversary of the first one

Marinette grins.

LadyBug: you bet

She chuckles to herself, and opens the episode. Stormy Weather 2, for her bet with Alya. It takes longer than she'd want, and Marinette ends up staying up until ten to finish, but she's not giving Alya the satisfaction. Or five euros.

Somewhere around nine, she gets a text from Alya.

haha, find me five euros!

Marinette grins as she finishes.

"I don't think so," she beams. Normally, she offers to let ChatNoir click Post, but she wants the satisfaction tonight.

She grins as the message crosses the screen.

Congratulations! You just posted Episode 50 - Stormy Weather 2 [ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY]!

"Take that, Alya," she grins, saying goodbye to ChatNoir and turning the laptop off. She gets changed and climbs into bed.

Due to the late night, Marinette ends up running into school the following morning. She races up the stairs, taking them two at a time, and flings the door open just as the bell rings.

"Very fine line, Marinette," Miss. Bustier says, but lets her sit down without telling her off. Alya starts to speak, but Miss. Bustier gets in first. It's recess before Marinette actually speaks to her.

"Five euros for me, then?" Alya grins. "Oi, Adrien! You owe me five euros!"

"You sure?" Adrien calls back in response, dragging Nino across the court to where Alya and Marinette are standing.

"Do you want to check?" Marinette agrees. Alya rolls her eyes.

"You're going against TP Number One Fan?" she asks, but pulls her phone out anyway. "If I didn't notice last night, there's no way..."

She stops.

She grins.

She stops.

There's several moments of silence.

"Fine," she sighs and pulls out her purse. She hands a five-euro note to both Marinette and Adrien.

This time, it's Marinette that puts her fist out and Adrien who bumps it with his own.

"How did you know?" Alya demands. Both of them grin.

"Intuition," Marinette grins.

"Good guesswork," is Adrien's response. It's shortly after that he makes some comment to Nino and the two separate.

"I'm not going to lie," Alya says, the moment they'd left, "that ten euros was totally worth it to watch you communicate with Adrien like a sane person."

Marinette jumps.

"I did, didn't I? I actually spoke to him without stuttering!"

"I'm so proud of you girl!" Alya beams. "Finally making progress!"

And yet, Marinette finds that she isn't as excited as she always thought she would be.

Now 50 chapters and over 4.5K reads later, I'm still posting and people actually read it! Who would have thought?
