Marinette stares at the statistics. Yes, her username is LadyBug. Yes, she's got one work, The Adventures of Tikki and Plagg. Yes, that's her status, updated to include the second part after she published Copycat. Yes, she's following two people, ChatNoir and RenaRouge.

No, she doesn't have 3K followers. That can't be right.

Marinette exits the quick statistics, and her profile opens up. She clicks Followers, and scrolls down.

And down.

And down.

She doesn't see the same name twice, and every one is original with their own profile picture. Everyone is someone who has willingly chosen to follow her, because they like The Adventures of Tikki and Plagg.

It blows Marinette's mind. She can remember, only six months ago, as she clicked the Sign Up! button and verified her email address. When Tikki was her own, when no one would understand who Tikki was. And now she's got three thousand followers, with only 23 episodes posted.

She doesn't even know where she's going to end this thing.

And then she remembers the Message button, and clicks it in relief. RenaRouge's suggestion is the best advice that Marinette has ever followed. Collaborating with ChatNoir... TP wouldn't be the same without him. He was more than just a drawing partner. He was her friend, and the one person who she could rely on and tell everything to.

For one thing, he's the only one who really knows LadyBug. The confident version of herself.

LadyBug: hey chat, u down for legitimate conversation?

And, as always, his reply is fast.

ChatNoir: sure. not down for drawing, but feel free to do some yourself

Actually, now he's mentioned it, she might as well. She thinks for a bit, before remembering Manon. She came over earlier today, and was playing with dolls. Like a Puppeteer.

Marinette clicks Create New Episode and begins.

LadyBug: soo, i was looking at my stats, and it turns out i have 3k followers. which, considering the only thing i ever do on here is tp, means that there are at least 3k people who want new episodes of the comic

ChatNoir: im listening, continue

LadyBug: my problem is that i had no long-term plans for this. i was just taking every episode as it came, and now ive got thousands of fans who expect actual plotline and an actual conclusion

ChatNoir: i see your problem. u have no plotline, no explanation for nooroo and no idea how to conclude the series?

LadyBug: that's exactly my problem. and the best part is i dont even know how long its going to be

Marinette frowns as she draws.

ChatNoir: ok, i see what you're saying. up until now, it was just a hobby and a bunch of random episodes. from now on, it's going to need to have a lot more depth and insight into what's going to happen

LadyBug: yeah, i dont want to make references to the past of the kwamis without actually knowing what their past is, yknow??

ChatNoir: i see what ur getting at. how long do you intend for this comic to last??

This, Marinette thinks, is why I need ChatNoir. She hadn't considered how the length of time she's prepared to draw the comic in affects the length of the comic itself.

She's been drawing the comic for six months now, and she's fourteen. As she gets older, she'll have more schoolwork to do, and so she can't make important episodes regularly.

LadyBug: maybe another year?? its kinda fluid, but a year is probably what ill aim for. opinions?

ChatNoir: sounds good to me, mlady. it's nearly the end of this year, so thats around 24 episodes in six months. season 1, if u want

Marinette's seen TV shows in seasons, and using the word makes it feel so much more like a serious thing that she wants to keep using it.

LadyBug: yup. up until now, every episode is a part of season 1. make season 2 next, then

ChatNoir: thats what i was thinking. we've just gotten started with season 1, and then we spend season 2 deciding how it's going to end. making new episodes as we plan the future ones

ChatNoir: and from there that's another six months, and at that point we can decide how many more seasons we want

LadyBug: thats a really good idea. how is it that u come up with rlly good ideas???

ChatNoir: natural talent, bugaboo. i am genuisnoir, after all

Marinette scoffs out loud.

LadyBug: whatever makes u happy, chaton. so, this episode im making now will end season 1, cool?

ChatNoir: im down. i should be home in about an hour, so i can help out then. sorry for my schedule

LadyBug: its fine, honestly. thank u so much, my thoughts are always so scattered and without u this comic would be a bunch of random thoughts. hope u havent forgotten pixelator and guitar villain, i didnt even finish those!!

ChatNoir: i wont disagree, but im like 99% sure ur exaggerating

LadyBug: yeah but turns out its that 1%

He sends back a laughing emoji, and Marinette huffs.

LadyBug: thats cheating im on my laptop and cant send emojis

Just to spite her, he sends another, and so Marinette ignores the chat and continues drawing.

ChatNoir: sorry lb

ChatNoir: lb ill stop now

ChatNoir: why u mad at me lb

ChatNoir: u cant be mad at me forever otherwise ur comic will be a bunch of random thoughts

LadyBug: ha! u admit it then!

ChatNoir: NO I DIDNT

Marinette laughs, and the hour flies by. By the time her parents call her for dinner, she and ChatNoir have finished the episode.

Marinette writes another one of her notes at the bottom.

LadyBug here, everyone. Just wanted to tell you all that from now on, Season 1 is over. Season 2 will be beginning after Christmas, so ChatNoir and I can have a break!! Have a very merry Christmas and we'll see you for Season 2 next year!!! Can't wait!
