Marinette flicks through her diary. She grins at her handwriting from a year ago, when she had only just turned thirteen. Adrien and Alya's first day at College Francais Dupont, and the same day Ivan and Mylene got together.

Her phone buzzes, but Marinette ignores it. She grins to herself, remembering how she thought Adrien was like Chloe. A bully, who had put chewing gum on her seat.

Oh, how wrong she was.

Her phone buzzes again.

"What do you want?" Marinette asks it, frustrated, but her annoyance ebbs away a bit when she sees who the message is from. ChatNoir.

ChatNoir: hey bugaboo, u up for making a new episode?

ChatNoir: id start one without u, but i have zero inspiration.

Marinette looks at her own handwriting.

Kim was actually kind of horrid, teasing ivan like that in front of the class. it wasnt fair that kim declare ivan's feelings so obviously. it's a good thing mylene likes him back!! they make such a cute couple!

LadyBug: i was rereading my old diary, and theres this kid in my class i could base it on

LadyBug: another kid in our class publicly declared that one boy had a crush on his friend, and he got rlly upset. i mean they ended up together but still

There's a moment before ChatNoir replies, and it's not with the usual excitement he brings to everything.

ChatNoir: sounds like a great idea, shall we start?

It's just typed words, but they feel flat, empty. Marinette can't stop herself becoming worried. In a way, ChatNoir was the only person she could really talk to without freaking out. He was the only one who knew her as LadyBug, anyway.

LadyBug: sure. u arent mad at me, right?

The message comes back quickly, and Marinette sighs in relief.

ChatNoir: haha no, sorry! im multitasking

LadyBug: haha all good

Marinette clicks "Create New Episode" and names it Stoneheart on a whim. As a bit of an Easter egg, she makes Mylene look like Marie from the Horrificator episode. After all, they're both her.

She's just finished drawing Marie again when ChatNoir's message comes through.

ChatNoir: omg is that marie from horrificator??

LadyBug: haha yeah, i liked drawing her too much!!

She draws Ivan, trying to make him not look too obviously Ivan and failing, when ChatNoir sends another message.

ChatNoir: sorry mlady, i gtg. feel free to finish and post without me!!

In his bedroom, Adrien stares as LadyBug continues to draw Ivan, Mylene and Kim. He's sure of it. From the moment LadyBug had recounted the story, he'd suspected something was up. That maybe he knew her. It was a giveaway when he saw Not-Ivan, and then for his love interest to be the character based on Mylene? It was too much of a coincidence.

LadyBug was in his class.

"Don't be so close-minded," objects a voice in his head. "Either of them could be a sibling of literally anyone who went home and told a sibling, friends of siblings, friends of parents, children of friends of parents... the list goes on."

It's Marinette's voice, reprimanding Alya a few weeks ago. About the Horrificator episode, ironically.

"But if I narrow it down to this class, I'm closer to finding them!"

"If you narrow it down to this class, they might slip through your fingers," Marinette replies, and Adrien sighs.

"I suppose," he says aloud. He glances back to the drawing canvas. He'd zoned out for longer than he'd thought, and LadyBug is almost finished. To his surprise, Nooroo is making an announcement via a cloud of akumas. He scrolls up again, and is surprised to see that Tikki didn't manage to capture Stoneheart's akuma. He's about to message her, to congratulate her on this awesome idea, before he reminds himself that he is pretending he isn't active on Miraculous.

"Tikki, Plagg, you have done enough damage to these innocent people!"

"Nice try, Nooroo," Tikki grins, "but we know who the real villain is."

It's a spectacular speech, and she finishes it by using a parachute and Marie to release the akuma.

Something changes in the corner of the screen, but Adrien is distracted by his phone beeping.

Sure enough, the corner says published. Adrien dismisses the notification, shuts down his laptop and goes to ask for dinner.

The next day at school, Adrien can't quite look at Mylene, Ivan or Kim the same way. Was Mylene LadyBug? Could Ivan or Kim be related to LadyBug?

"Girl! Isn't it awesome?"

Alya's voice rings through the classroom, as loud as always. She's talking to Marinette, but considering Nino is leaning over the back of the seat and listening, Adrien heads over too.

"Really awesome," Marinette agrees, going pink. Adrien frowns for a second - it isn't that warm in here - but dismisses it.

"What you talking about now, Alya?" asks Adrien.

"The usual," Nino grins. "TP."

Alya hits him on the top of the head.

"Nino! Adrien, have you seen the new episode?"

"Yeah," he admits. "It was good, wasn't it?"

"Good?" Alya scoffs. "LadyBug and ChatNoir showed us what would happen if the akuma got away from Tikki! How cool!"

"Actually, that was great," Adrien says. "I hadn't even considered what would happen if Tikki wasn't fast enough. LadyBug's really talented, both in drawing and coming up with great concepts!"

Marinette turns red. Adrien frowns, slightly concerned about her wellbeing, before glancing around at his classmates, wondering. LadyBug said she was in a class where, on the exact same day the exact same event happened. It means, Adrien assumes, that they are probably in the same class. Unless, of course, she's lying to hide her identity and doesn't want to tell him that her sibling/friend is in that class in case he works it out.

That's the most logical answer. But as Marinette agrees that TP is a good comic, Adrien can't help but wonder who LadyBug really is.
