Roy fell back as the symbol appeared and was speechless as Percy made the proclamation.

"What the hell was that?" Roy breathed in awe as the two brothers hugged.

"I got claimed! I got claimed! Did you see that? He claimed me!" Dick was jumping and flipping around the room in joy. He then stopped and looked at his brother, "that means I can go to camp! I can go to the palace too! And meet our brothers! Percy!" He squealed and jumped into the man's arms before going back to jumping around the room.

"Dick," Percy called only to be ignored. He shook his head and went to the kitchen to fill a bowl of water. "Dick!" He tried again, louder. Still with no response. "DICK!" The boy stopping only to get the water poured on him.

"Percy!" Dick complained but cheered once again once he noticed he was dry, "My powers! I can use them again!"

"P-powers?" Roy blanched at the scene. The two stopped and looked at the eldest in the room.

"Sit him down so we can explain," Percy ordered. "Gods how to explain to a mortal?" he then sighed. Roy sat down as Dick sat across from them on a kitchen chair.

"You know Diana's story right?" Dick asked.

"She's a Greek demigod of Zeus that was made from clay and lives as an Amazonian princess," Roy confirmed.

"We are demigods too. Our dad, as seen before, is Poseidon. As such we have powers," Percy said as he brought a blob of water to float around his finger.

"So you've had powers all along?"

"Not exactly. Our mom and Percy's adoptive mom who was our godmother were the only people other than our father that knew of us being brothers and having powers. When mom died with our stepfather that night and I was adopted, Father decided that my powers needed to be hidden more and therefore suppressed them in both of us for a while," Richard explained.

"I found my powers first due to a prophecy that determined I would help in leading a war when I was 16. Though I started my quests for the war when I was 12 and got claimed," Percy went on.

"How did you know it was you and not Dick? What made you guys keep being twins a secret so long?" Roy asked as his curiosity grew.

Percy dispersed the water blob he had been fiddling with and adopted a grim expression, " because I'm the oldest and I was the first to break the vows our father made."

"No I was the first to break the vows," a voice sounded.

"Bampás!" The brothers said as they ran into the man's arms.

"Hello my sons," he said as they hugged.

"I was wondering when you were going to show," Percy grinned as they broke apart.

"You claimed me!" Dick exclaimed.

"You may rise," Posiedon motioned. The boys confused by the statement until turning to see an uncomfortable Roy rising from a kneel. He turned back to his sons, "now tell me about this plan you have stirred up."

The two got evil grins that made Roy uncomfortable, "What plan?"

"We're going to switch places for a week," Dick explained.

"I want to see how long until we get caught," Percy smirked his signature troublemaker grin and draped an arm around his brother who shared the same look.

Went to a local literary festival. So much more fun than I thought it would be! I learned so much and I hope it shows in my writing. Fyi, Erin Bow is a freaking idol and was so cool to meet.
