I wake up with a start and check the time. 5:50. Holy shit! I fucking OVERSLEPT! I march to my desk and pick up the phone. (As co-chief, I have access to the loud speaker through my phone.) "WAKE THE FUCK UP!" I yelled. Not a very good idea... I could hear myself through the speakers throughout the building.

I could here people jolting awake and screaming. Oops... Eren and Connie came flying through the door demanding to know what happened. "No time! Look. At. The. Clock." I said slightly panicking. Of course, Connie was the only one who under stood. "It's 5:51?" Eren said. "Ugh! Stay here and get everyone up. Immediately!"

I raced out of my work station and practically flew down the stairs to Mika's station. Everyone looked freaked out, like they saw a ghost. "LEVI! YOU ARE SO DEAD!" I heard a voice yell from behind me. I turned to come face to face with none other than Mikasa. "What is wrong with you?! You kept us trapped in this place overnight and nearly made us deaf!" she yelled again. This time, getting into a stance as if she was going to hit me.

I sighed heavily. At least she's okay. "Listen it wasn't me alright? Some crazy person is testing us and we need to get into a safe place before the clock hits 6am." I said, not really explaining much. "Umm... You'd better make it quick cause it's 5:58- I'm sorry 5:59..." Annie said, nonchalantly. "Fuck! Come on, damnit!" I yelled, grabbing Mika and Annie. "Listen up! Go and hide anywhere you can and don't come out unless it's an emergency!"

    I charged upstairs with the girls, but halfway up, I heard the six o'clock
bell chime... Shit. Thinking fast I shoved both of them in the closet, earning a few cuss words from Mika and a grunt from Annie. "Careful-""Shhh! Stay. Put." I said cutting her off. I closed the door and headed back to my station. I was suddenly body-slammed into the wall with someone's hands around my neck.

    My reflexes kicked in and I twisted myself out of his grip and punched him square in the jaw. At least I hope... I can't see since the hall is so damn dark. I looked around, but the guy was gone, like he was never there to begin with. I decided it would be in my best interest not to keep those two in the closet... Before that I need to get Eren and everyone to make a safe zone so they have somewhere to take cover.

    This is going to be a long 48 hours... I slammed the door open to reveal hell breaking loose in the office. I looked around seeing people crying in corners with others comforting them. My eyes widened when they landed on John. He was at his desk with pen lodged in his neck... "What the fuck is GOING ON!!" I said raising my voice.

    "S-shh!! H-HE WAS BIT BY A-A GIANT M-MOTH AND K-KILLED HIMSELF! IT'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" a coworker whisper-screamed cowering further under her desk. A moth? Moths don't bite, do they? I turned around to see a fucking human sized... Thing perched on the wall above the door I just came in from. It bat its wings a couple of times as I took a few steps back.

    "Nobody. Make. A. Sound. Stand. Still!" I whispered loud enough for them to hear. No one moved for what felt like eternity. Suddenly the door slammed open. "BROTHER!!" Shit. Mika stood at the door with Annie behind her. "Mika-!" The creature took flight, looping around and charging at them.

    Thinking fast, I took a chair and threw it. Lucky shot! It hit the creature making it retreat and prepare to swoop back down. I took this time to grab the emergency ax from the wall. This time it aimed itself at me. Using the desks and my weight to my advantages, I bounced off three desks to lift myself five feet off the ground and make a direct hit at the creature's nape.

    It landed with a loud thud! I landed light on my feet. It was silent for a few minutes before the office erupted into a series of loud cheers and applause. Mika ran up to me, whispering apologies as she squeezed me in a tight hug. While everyone was happy and celebrating, I still had various things stuck on my mind:

- What the hell was that thing?
- Is that one of the infected?
- What the hell are the infected?
- How many people have already been killed throughout this building?
- How much longer will this area be safe until more of these things show?

   These questions raced through my head. We are all in danger and we still have a little less than 48 hours! There's no way I can protect all these people with so many of those things running- or flying around! However there is one question that is sticking to the most:

Where is Eren?

    "Hey! Where's Jaeger?" I asked everyone. Most shrugged, others looked amost each other hoping they would know. I sighed. "Um... He said he was going to look for you. You were taking a bit of a long time..." Armin said. Damn... "Fine... Everyone stay put! Barricade the door if you have to! Stay safe. Imma go find Eren." with that I ran out.

    "Damnit Eren! What were you thinking?" I said to myself. He'll be in so much trouble when I find him. I stopped in the middle of the hallway where I was attacked and saw a paper laying on the ground. I uncrumbled it and read through it:
