INT. BIRD ROOM - DAY

The sun is shining hard through the window, and it is MANGO's birthday. BLUEY, PEAR, MIKA, and ANGIE know what is going on as they sit on the same perch, staring at ELIZABETH intently.

ELIZABETH

You all better behave when I call Ashlynn, okay?

Everyone chirps simultaneously.

ELIZABETH takes out her phone and facetimes ASHLYNN.

ASHLYNN answers immediately.

ASHLYNN

Hi!

ELIZABETH reaches her hand out for BLUEY.

PEAR

Yo! What about us? We're good friends with Mango, too, y'know?

BLUEY

Y'all just aren't special enough. Mango and I go back old times. Before you came.

PEAR

Oh-

BLUEY steps up onto ELIZABETH's hand as she shows him MANGO through the phone.

BLUEY

Birthday Mango!

BLUEY

I wish we could hang out...like in real life.

MANGO

Yeah but I guess we birds gotta social distance, too.

BLUEY

Did you do anything fun or have anything fun planned today?

MANGO

We went to Orla's Foreign Birds to get new toys, and hooman revamped my entire cage!

BLUEY

Wow, that's so cool! Did Kiko and Kiwi join in to celebrate?

KIKO flies onto ASHLYNN's head.

ASHLYNN

Oop, did you want to join the call?

KIKO looks at ASHLYNN and immediately flies toward the phone, causing the phone to slide down a little.

ASHLYNN

Hey! Kiko! Now you can't see your friends!

ASHLYNN props her phone up again.

ASHLYNN

Don't do that again.

KIKO waddled slowly toward the phone. Gently.

KIKO

Hi Bluey!

PEAR

Hey! Uh what happened back there?

KIKO

I was too excited to see you that I knocked over the phone. My badddd!

ELIZABETH

Hey Ashlynn, I gotta go to the bathroom, but my birds will still be here.

ASHLYNN

Okay, sounds good!

ELIZABETH exits while ASHLYNN whistles and PEAR sings and dances.

MIKA

Woo! Go Pear!

ANGIE

(whispering to MIKA)

I wonder if ELIZABETH can hear it.

MIKA

Eh, he's pretty loud so I would say she can.

ANGIE

I guess a virtual party isn't as lame as I thought it would be!

MIKA

It's never gonna be lame with so many friends!
