It's been one month and a week. My body has healed and I've began to live life again. The guys and I have become super close, letting me hang with them whenever, ask for help with the chords and riffs, even going so far as the spending the night with them from time to time. We all party together, get high and drunk together, and worked together even.
" Alice you wanker" Mick laughed as I hit his pencil, making him screw up his writing.
Keith laughed and walked by me, but not without ruffling my hair.
" I'm surprised Alice and Mick aren't a couple, because you guys sure do act like one" Brian said causing me to laugh.
" thank god I'm not with her, I can't stand her as it is" Mick laughed.
" I picture them more like brother and sister" Bill spoke and which Keith agreed.
" aww Mick, you can be the brother I never had!" I say and through my arms around him another time, causing him to mess up his writing again.
" for fucks sakes.." He whispers trying to keep his writing under control. I couldn't help but laugh at his frustration.
As I was doing so, I glanced at Keith who seemed a little annoyed.
I began to walk up to him but was stopped by a very aggravated Mick.
" Alice do you remember what we had to do today?" He says, like it just slipped his mind.
" no...I-"
We had to go shop for the party that is TOMORROW. I stood there with my eyes wide and brows knitted.
" shit..." I muttered and I heard a laugh from someone.
" how much time do we have left before the shops close?" Mick sighs.
Keith looked at his watch and counted mentally.
" 4 hours" he shrugged.
Mick and I got up and grabbed our stuff.
" wait you two by yourself? Don't you hate each other?" Brian stated.
" yep " Mick nodded and we left.
Mick and I entered store after store, looking for things to help with decorating and all that jazz.
Let me explain. This party is gonna be big. Not only is the Stones performing, but our band too! Double the attention for us!
I helped carry some bags as Mick payed.
By the time we were out of there, my stomach rumbled.
" oh no" Mick said and tossed his head back.
" I'm hungry! You have to feed me Mick! It's cruel not to" I laughed and he sighed.
" fine, but I choose" he said and I nodded.
He smiled and choose the one and only, the little diner I work at.
" wow, what a great choice.." I say sarcastically.
" hey, don't complain to me, I told you I get to choose" he stated and smiled at my face. I couldn't help but chuckle.
" I'll bet it's because you want to see a certain someone" I state and he nods.
" hell yeah, I'm not gonna lie. Louis always has something good I can eat" he wiggled his eyebrows and I snorted.
" are you suggesting you eat out a lot Mick?" I ask and he nods.
" oh you know it" he smiles and I couldn't help but throw my head and laugh.

Keith's P.O.V
" what about her seeing me only as a friend?" I sigh and Brian begins to think.
" so just take her away from that thought" he shrugs.
Let me explain.
*flashback to three weeks ago*
She just slept there and boy was it a sight.
I caught a glimpse of the skin near her breast. I hesitated for a moment, wondering if I was in the mood to do something stupid or not.
I shook my head and slowly got out of her bed. She remained silent. Good sign.
I really had to take a piss and stretch.
Once I was done, I looked over my self in the mirror in headed back out, but stopped.
I hadn't realized how attractive she was until Mick brought it up. Before I knew it I was stalking her by her doorway. I wondered if she was dreaming right now and what she would be dreaming about... A wave of warmth emanated from the pit of my stomach and I shivered, that was a feeling I have never felt before. What was wrong with me?
* Fast forward*
Anyways, One day Alice stated that I was a really great guy and a really great "friend", but yet it seems life just isn't fair. I knew that my feelings towards Alice have grown immensely because when I heard her say those words, I almost choked on my own cigarette. She probably wants someone attractive, smart, with a well paying job! Essentially not me.
I knew I was in some deep shit from the beginning.
" Brain we all can't be like you and get girls, plus I'm pretty sure what your doing with them isn't right either" Charlie said and Brian rolled his eyes.
" how do you know? You've been with Shirley for so long I-" he shut up after Charlie had given him a stare.
" Keith this may be a bad idea" Bill says and looks at me.
" but maybe try to convince her at the party tomorrow, when there done playing, We can maybe play a slow song and you two can dance" he suggested and I smiled. That was genius!
" I think we are missing the point" Charlie speaks up again.
" it sounds like your forcing the poor lady. Keith she sees you as a friend for a reason, you could possibly hurt your chances more by doing that" he stated and I nod. He had a point, good ol'Charlie, always the gentleman.
" then what do you say he should do?" Brian asks and Charlie sighs.
" I say give it time, be around her. You can be her friend but also slowly convince her you can be more than that" he answered. I was mentally at war with myself and I know that I am losing.
