~Boss POV~

It's now the next day meaning I'm getting closer and closer to living a rich life. How wonderful it would be to bathe in gold and have peasants cook and clean for me. "How wonderful it will be indeed..." I looked over the paperwork on how well my precious Raptor was doing, and it always brought a smile to my face. Healthy. I began to drift off to the box sitting at the corner of my desk and smirked. Double checking everything, I turned around and checked on the cameras to see everyone working hard. But mostly focused on camera #12, I pressed a button and told through the intercom, " Scientists' Zoey and Ciera please make your way to the Nursery Room with Subject #66, I'll be waiting." 

I let go of the button keeping my eyes on the same camera, watching the sleeping raptor having no clue on what's going to happen to her. I turned away from the cameras and grabbed the box, opening it to find the three syringes untouched sitting in their slots. I closed and put the box back in its corner and stood up making my way towards the door, pushing it open I walked down the empty hallways only hearing the clicks of my shoes as I slowly approached section 13. Opening the doors, I waited as I heard the two scientists approaching at a rapid pace. Everyone knew I didn't like to wait, luckily I actually like them both unlike that Josh guy. It was the last time I trusted him.... so I killed him.

~Kiwi POV~

I woke up to someone laughing, and was about to yell for Xin to be quiet but found him all curled up in a corner asleep. I looked to my left and found a buff guy in a black suit laying against the wall with his arms crossed. Uninterested, I went to close my eyes again but the sound of footsteps began to get louder by the second. Knowing I probably won't be able to sleep again, I went to stand up and stretch yawning in the process. That's when a loud screeching noise of doors opened, along with footsteps, this time stood what looked like two female scientists that held some weird lookin equipment.

Eavesdropping, I heard along the lines, 'Get. Raptor. Nursery.' Guessing they were referring to me. I watched as they both opened the metal door and carefully approached me, but since I just woke up, I had no motivation to try and escape. "Don't worry I heard it's a herbivore.." The buff man said. "How can you be sure?" One of the females said, closely eyeing my every move. "I've seen it eat before, don't worry. If you get injured I'll triple your pay." The buff man said once again. That's when they both started approaching me much quicker but still with caution, I just huffed and got closer to them so this could go faster.

They saw that I didn't care they invaded my enclosure, but did quickly put on the gear and some sort of muzzle thing on me with a leash. I was starting to get uneasy as I had no idea what they were going to do with me since this is the first time I was awake for anything. As they escorted me to this Nursey room thing, I found a lot of eyes on me has other scientists passed by. Finally arriving at the place, I was put into a much nicer and comfier cage. As they were unhooking the gear off I noticed something that looked like a wolf with patterns just like Xin. I watched as the two scientists left, leaving just me and the wolf.

"Hi there-" "I'm not interested in small talk..." The wolf spoke, interrupting me. "Uhm.. May I ask what your name is?" The wolf just gave me this dead look and huffed, "No you may not.." The wolf turned away and started grooming herself. "Ok then, geez.." I finished already getting mad. 'How rude..' I thought, and than started to think about Xin. 'Maybe that's his mate.., they look almost alike.' I shook the thought off and wrapped myself with my tail and began to fall to sleep.

~Timeskip~

Waking up I found the same wolf staring at me from a distance with an annoyed expression with a hint of disgust. "How can I help you?" I got up to groom my feathers. "Could you SNORE any LOUDER?! I barely got any sleep!" The wolf spat, her fur sticking out in many directions. "Calm down jeez, who messed with your acorns?" I rolled my eyes, seeing as she was over exaggerating. "Excuse me? I am not a squirrel!" She huffed. "Well your tail says otherwise, besides If you told me your name we wouldn't be in this mess!" I barked back, the wolf just hid her tail and growled, "Whatever... and by the way I don't have a name." The wolf finished and turned away from me, plopping down in annoyance. I once again rolled my eyes.

Some time passed by and the wolf was out like a light. Bored I just began to play with my feathers and wondered if I will ever get out of here.. just as I planned to past more time by sleeping, a door opened and came a scientist with a service cart that had the bottom covered with some white sheet and random items at the top. I looked at her and felt as if I met her before, our eyes ended up meeting and that's when it clicked, it was the same woman who told me, "Don't worry everything will be A-okay" What is she doing here though?  I watched her come closer and crouched meeting eye level telling me something I never thought I would hear again..
