~Third Person~

"Hey K-kiwi..." Xin tried to hold in his laughter as he was telling a joke. "What's so funny this time?" She sighed looking away from the sleeping rabbit still in her cage after a few days. "Your name!" Kiwi watched as he rolled around on the floor dying of laughter. Kiwi wasn't amused. "It's not that funny... I should of never told you my name." Kiwi pouted as if she was the child Xin took candy from. Xin calmed down a bit and wiped away fake tears, "Just because it was funny yesterday doesn't mean it can't be today!" He just chuckled slightly to himself. "Well atleast I don't look like a Sphinx cat!" Kiwi giggled, watching Xin squint his eyes with a frown "Touché..."

They were having a good time talking with each other till Xin went silent and looked away from Kiwi, which she noticed. "Hey... what's wrong?" | "Just thinking..." | "Of?" There was a long pause before he continued, "Of what will happen after breeding.." Kiwi completely forgot about that, but was more worried with Xin's behavior. "If you don't mind me asking but, what happened when you left?" Kiwi wanted answers that she has yet to solve about this place and what will they do to her. "I-.. I don't know how to explain it, I blacked out through half of it" Xin stuttered but not from being nervous, with fear. "T-they forced m-me, I-I couldn't control i-it" He was on the verge of tears."That's enough.." Kiwi didn't want him to continue, she could only comfort him with words that apparently worked.

They sat in silence, but not a awkward one. It was all peaceful till doors where slammed open loud enough to hear across the hallways, this made them both jump. A buff man with two scientists behind him walked towards Kiwi's cage, "Careful she's a feisty one" The buff man said getting nods from the two. They hid something behind their back and walked to the metal door putting in the password, Kiwi could sense a dangerous aura from the buff man. But she focused on the two in front her. Before Kiwi could attack in attempt of escape, the two scientist pulled out guns and shot at Kiwi, leaving her to land on the ground face first but still in good condition. Xin could only watch as his friend would be through the same fate as him.

~Kiwi POV~

This was the second time I got shot, now where will I be taken this time? It took a while before my eyes fluttered open with a blur as always. I let them settle before looking around, however I couldn't move. "What the.." I was able to turn my head and found that I had wires hooked up in me, and in some fancy pod. I heard some gasps and looked ahead of me, I saw around 6 of them looking at me as they filled the room. I was starting to get uncomfortable and tried wiggling out but then a huge claw came down from the ceiling and pinned my body, now there was no chance of escape. 'Great'. I could only watch as they flipped some switches and pressed a few buttons, 'was Xin just exaggerating or-' but my thoughts were cut off as someone yelled, "100%! Get ready!" I was panicking, as I slowly watch something like a syringe with a green liquid come out of the claw 2 inches from my face.

"What the he-!" I screamed as the syringe stabbed into my neck and injected me with something. I wanted to cry but then a second one but pink instead hit one of my veins, I was able to get a breather and rethink what happened in the last 30 seconds. When I thought I was done, a much huger syringe went deep in my skin and took my blood with bits of green and pink in it. Just before I could pass out one of the scientist came up to me and put something in my mouth, then took it out to have my saliva on it. "Don't worry everything will be A-okay" The female scientist smiled, walking away from the raptor with guilt in her eyes as she handed the object to another scientist who labeled it and put in a machine closing it. But I couldn't keep my eyes open much longer as I decided to just let darkness consume me. 'I want this day to just end..'

~Good Scientist? POV~

"Poor thing.." I watched as they unhooked the raptor carefully, and drag it into a hidden room. I wanted to follow, but kept put at my station as I was handed some blood samples. "Hey Rachel." | "Hey.." I didn't want to create small talk at the moment, if I mess up on these samples I would be fired like the rest of them. " You seem down, what's up?" I sighed knowing she will just keep asking till I break, "I just hate working here thats all.." | "Then why dont you just quit?" I looked away from my microscope, and faced Sam. "You know I cant do that, I want to help these animals live a normal life without us getting involved with it." I whispered making sure no one else was listening, "Besides, I dont want to be tracked down once I quit. I know this place like the back of my hand." Sam only nodded, and we continued on separating and grouping up cells that would soon be put in a machine to begin forming our creation.

Just as I got done with injecting some of the cells with a substance I handed it to the scientist who would make it come to life. Each time this would happen only a few would watch it, however since it was a raptor we were talking about almost the whole lab was crammed in one room. Even the boss was watching it all go down, "It's ready!" I yelled giving a thumbs up, the other gave a thumbs up back and pushed a button. We watched as parts were forming and combing, oo's and ahh's were heard but what really got our attention was how real it looked. I too was impressed, when it opened its orange eyes the whole room got quiet. We were too distracted to remember how close we were watching the raptor take in its first breath. The only voice heard was the boss's.

"Absolutely stunning!" He took a few steps to get a closer look at the raptor who was in a tube filled with a green liquid. The boss studied its features, it had light blue scales fading into a darker blue to the tail. With white feathers and a silver calamus, white legs and triangles on the side of its face. It was indeed gorgeous, "I cant wait to see what their children would look like.." the boss said, smirking. I was disgusted about how selfish he was, he only wants them for himself. I glanced behind me and found a frowning Sam looking at me, atleast I have someone who understands me unlike the others who would only laugh. "Show's over, everyone head back to your stations!"The boss yelled making people begin scattering, I followed Sam since I had nothing else to do. We stayed quiet the whole walk, knowing if we talked someone would report us to the boss for slacking off and I wasn't gonna take that. 'If only this day could end quicker..'

Oh dang! You know what's gonna happen next! Don't worry ill tell you when it happens, and hopefully I can write it out remembering their animals and not hoomans.
