Sheherazade's heart palpitated as she held onto Lalasa's hand tightly, walking down the Native American girl's parents' driveway. Lalasa had announced that she would officially come out to her parents as a cupiosexual lesbian and explain the new term. Mr. and Mrs. Locklear accept Sheherazade immediately into their family, and they adore Maroon and Sam. Lalasa keeps smiling at Sheherazade before she announces that they are dating. Mrs. Locklear is slightly stunned because Lalasa had never shown interest in anyone as a teenager. Mr. Locklear informs Sheherazade that he will not make a threat if she hurts his daughter, but to take care of her. Lalasa also uses this moment to come out of the closet a third time. Her parents accept her immediately and embrace both women. The dogs go crazy as they run around the house, sensing the energy in the room.
