Edward Ryan's pov...

I walked over to Linda's cabin.
" Hey Ryan. Did you just remember your way here?" She asked, keeping the papers aside.

" You already know the reason" I said, rolling my eyes.

" Don't get irritated now. Sit boss" she said laughing.

" By the way, I came to ask you a favour" I said, taking a seat

" What can I do for you, boss?" She is always dramatic.

" I see that Diya and you became friends. So, I want you to take her shopping and don't worry about the shift, I will cover yours"

" Why don't you go? Just spend time with her, Ryan. You're newly married. Haven't you seen us irregularly coming to hospital for a month after marriage?" she asked and winked.

I shook my head in negative.
" Ours is different. Leave that, I don't know how much she suffered there. I observed that she is having less clothes. If I take her shopping, she would think I pity her or didn't like her wearing the same clothes. But, if you take her it will be like a girl's time"

"You know what? You are such an amazing person" she said, smiling and added "But, you need to spend some time with her"

" Yeah, that's why I have decided to take her in the evening after you guys come home"

" Wow!! Someone is planning for a date " she said, laughing when  nurse Eva knocked the door.

"Doc, we need your help there in room 6" she said and I got up to do my job.

Diya's pov...

Ryan has been good to me since I came here. At last, I'm having a normal life like others. He didn't tell me to do anything. I just clean the house, watch TV whenever I get bored. I felt comfortable around him, but we didn't get to talk much. I badly wanted to speak with Divya and Pooja but waited for the phone.

It's the weekend. Today, I made chapathi. I don't know to make american cuisines and couldn't search for recipes too.  Even, he had no other choice to eat my food which is new to him. But, he never complained.

We finished having breakfast when I heard a knock at the door. I opened the door to see Linda standing with Sofia.

" Hey hii, Linda and Hii, Sofi. Come in" I said when Ryan walked to the hall and greeted them

" Hii Diya. How are you? I have been busy at the hospital. Sorry, I couldn't find time to visit" she said and sat on the sofa.

" I'm good. No problem. I can understand" I said, smiling at her.

" So, to compensate the missed time, I came here to take you for shopping" she beamed excitedly.

" oh, but, it's fine" I said. How do I go for shopping when I don't have money. Yes, I was in shortage of dresses. If I ask for money, Ryan would definitely give me but I can't take advantage.

"I didn't ask you. I want you to come. I know how bored it will be to be at home. We will come here by noon "

" Diya, don't hesitate. Just go with her and see the city" Ryan said while playing with sofia.

" Ok, I will go and get ready then" I said hesitantly and went to my room.

How am I going to shop without money? She will definitely come to know when she see me buying nothing. I should have got some money saved. I was thinking all this when I heard a knock at the door. I opened the door to see Ryan.

" Diya, here's the card. From now on, you can use it. Don't hesitate to spend. I can see how much you are using. I know you will hesitate and deny, but you are my wife. What's mine is your's too. Just go and enjoy your day" he said by keeping the card on the table.

" Thank you"

"mention not. Remember to let go your past and live your life at present" he said and I looked at him in admiration.

Really!! He had already thought about it. I have done nothing for him. But, he is so thoughtful and caring. The words "what's mine is yours too" kept ringing my mind. I felt something when I repeated the words in my mind.

I got ready and we started towards the destination. After coming to this city, this is the first time I'm going out. It's totally opposite to the Indian streets. The city was full of busy people with tall buildings. One thing, I found it different from India is that no one bothered about "What you are wearing?" There in India everyone will look at you like a weird one from top to bottom, if you go wearing too much modern dresses in streets.

We got into a cloth store first. They had a wide range of clothes. Linda walked to the tops section

" Diya, this shop has the best in all types of clothing. I usually buy here. So go and pick the ones you like"

" Actually, I'm not used to wearing these... " I stopped there. Diya!! It's western wear only to you, not for them.

"Babe, just remember one thing. There should always be a start. At least, try to start with something not so revealing. You choose it or let me do it"

" We both will select " I smiled and she nodded. After an hour of searching and trying all. We bought some tops, jeans, shrugs and jackets.

Then, I asked for an Indian shop and we found out and got in. I got some kurthis, chudihars and sarees. I also checked the amount I spent. I wanted to buy things with my own money, but left with no choice.

Then, we went to have lunch and  on the way to home.

"Linda, I had so much fun today"
I said to her

" Me too, Diya. You have so much patience. John would always grumble when I take him to shopping" she said, as we laughed.

" Ok, I forgot to tell you something. Ryan told me to inform you that you would be going out at 5. Have fun babe " she said and winked at me making me blush a little.

I was tired so, I decided to take a short nap. Later, I came out and saw Ryan standing there, speaking on the phone. When did he come? He was wearing casuals. Did he get ready? He looked so handsome in casuals. God, I never looked at anyone and thought they were looking good or handsome. But he is an exemption. I can't take eyes off him. Diya, stop checking him. I diverted my mind to look at the clock and it showed 5.25. God!! I hurried back in to get ready.

I wore the dress that I bought today. I am not totally comfortable in wearing western tops. As of now, I wore a jean with a kurthi top. I did a little makeup that Linda picked up for me and insisted me to wear at least minimal makeup. I put a small clutcher to my hair

I came out. Ryan turned to look at me. "I'm sorry, I just overslept "

" It's absolutely fine" he said looking at my new look.

" I bought this today. Linda helped me pick it" I said, looking down at my dress.

" You look .....amazing" he said, adjusting his jacket and continued without letting me reply "Come, lets go" he said and I followed him.
