after anu disconnected the call,sid rested his head on the back rest of the chair. his thoughts wander from the 1st time he met sana till now. he might have seen 50 moods of her. she was indeed complicated and tough to handle. he thought about what anu said about love for her. has he fallen in love already? yes he was attracted. he likes her and wanna to know more but love. all he knew that he cared for her a lot and can go to any extent for her. he considered her as his friend for now and he can do anything for his friends. he wondered what is the matter with her. why is she so hurt. he guessed it to be related to her father, least he did know that its her whole family. he couldn't wait to meet anu and know about sana more. 

next day sana and anu got ready for the college. sana did not wanted to talk about the whole job topic now and she was great full that anu didn't pester her with her never ending questions. she knew if the topic came up right now she would definitely ask about involvement in the matter and she not at all wanted that as she was already confused and guilty about everything related to sid. she shrugged her thoughts when she was called down by anu's mother. they both had their breakfast and went to the college. she felt better today in comparison to the last few ones. she had still not switched her phone on as she knew that she will not be able to ignore sid's msges in case she saw them. she had already insulted him a lot and now she didn't want to hurt him more by ignoring even after seeing that he cared. they both attended the lectures and anu took leave before the last lecture as she knew sana would pester her to let her tag along as she was not wanting to be alone and again thinking everything. she had already msged sid about the location and time.

sid was waiting for anu at THE SKY HIGH restaurant as mentioned by anu. he was getting impatient every passing second. he was frantically looking here and there when he saw anu coming. he waved his hand to gain her attention. anu saw him and passed a smile. she reached to him and they shook their hands and got settled. anu could see the eagerness in sid's eyes so she decided to play.

"hey" anu said chirpily.

"hey?" sid gave her a confusing look.

"so how are you?"

"i am fine and i know you are too so lets get straight to the point. how's sana and what's the matter." sid said but anu was busy looking at the menu.

"you know the coffee her is the best i have had so far and pancakes with maple sauce is another level. i am going to order that, i suggest you also try." anu said and waved for the waiter before sid could say something. he was giving her RE-YOU-SERIOUS vala look  which anu royally ignored.

she ordered for both of them and then turned towards sid as if now she is completely ready to talk but before sid could say something she started blabbering.

"you now this is my fav place. food, environment and the most important this rooftop cafe. its just so lovely. the smooth music around and the amazing aroma of delicious food. umm...its heaven." anu blabbered and sid looked at her half irritated and half angry.

"are you serious? what are we here for and what are you talking.listen anushka i am damn irritated right now so cut this crap okay."

"okay okay sorry. i was just playing around. don't get mad. lets talk what we are here for."

"better. so i wanna now everything about sana."

"okay so 1st she is right now in college attending the last lecture and then she.." sid interrupted in between.

"what you left her alone at college. are you mad or what. vo fir chaligayi kahin to. dimag kharab hai kya tumhara." sid freaked out.

"hey relax okay. i know whats good for my friend okay. vaise bhi ab use office to jana nahi so she will spend her whole afternoon in lib covering up the course. aur fir ghar jayegi kahin aur nahi, i know."

"yeah right. tabhi tumhe promise karne ke bad bhi kal vo dobara aise bina bataye kahin chali gayi thi." sid said sarcastically to which anu frowned.

"1st off all kal vo tumhari wajah se gayi ad 2nd how the hell do you know about the promise. you are going to tell me now if you want to talk further."

"how is this important?" sid said irritated.

"it is" anu said pointing at him.

"ughh..i overheard the conversation between you too that day in the parking of the office." sid said looking away.

"hooo! you eves-droped. don't you know its bad manners." anu said dramatically.

"i know. it wasn't intentional but i could not make myself walk away seeing her conditioned." sid said sighing and anu smiled.

"now can we please talk." sid said exasperated and anu nodded.

"okay so i can't tell you anything about her personal life." anu said and sid frowned.

"don't give me this look. its hers to tell. i don't want ki mere tumhe batane ki wajah se vo mujhpe bhi trust na kare because she do not trust everybody or i say anyone else. i will tell that much only which is okay." anu said and sid nodded.

"okay so here's the thing. you knew why she wanted the job, right?" anu asked and sid nodded. "yeah so now she has given up that and sana never ever had given up what she earned so i am worried. she is among the people who fights back no matter how tough the fight is." they were interrupted by the waiter bringing there order.

"so why she did this time. there must be a reason." sid said taking a sip of his coffee. 

"yeah right but i don't now the real reason. she says she is not deserving and she will not be able to take more stress she's already handling but it seems to be just a part of reason. like a cover up of the real one, you know" sid nodded.

"so what you want me to do, find the reason?" sid asked. anu shook her head in denial.

"no, i want your help to cure her. sidharth vo na unme se hai jisne zada kuch bada kabhi chaha hi nahi. just love and affection and will be happy but unfortunately she got nothing but hurt, resulting in her being cold and distant. i read the msg she sent you and i felt that your presence make her weak. you know her i don't need anyone attitude. she was losing it. you might have noticed it, right? i read she said you asked her why she is distancing herself from you." sid nodded keeping the now empty cup of coffee on the table and moving forward.

"yeah i know. she was different til i and she became friends but was still closed up. she told me that she do not trust people that easily. it was till we went out on Sunday. i saw a very different sana. she was carefree and smiling and laughing. i did ask her if that was her real self and she agreed but after that day she again became cold and ignored me. when i asked the reasons she simply said we should not be hanging out much ." sid told anu to which anu frowned.

"if she was alright on Sunday then what happened afterwards?" anu asked in confusion. sid looked away. he don't know whether its right to tell her or not.

"i know there's more to it and you are thinking whether to tell it or not. but i need to know sidharh. she will not tell me so you have to. she's broken and i want to any how heal her anyhow. i have known her for 12 years. i have seen her shutting down her usual self. i have seen her breaking down and getting up becoming more stronger without anyone's help but this time she's giving up and i can't let this happen. so please" anu urged.

"i said to her that i have feelings for her. she said anything can not happen between us but i said i will wait and try to gain her trust and she also promised that if someday she realize that she is also developing any feelings for me she will not back out but she did. i confronted her regarding the same but she said she only want it to be professional between us. i stopped trying after that thinking she might realize some void in her life but then she took the leave, same one when she went somewhere unannounced. when she came back i asked her as i was worried but she said really mean things to me that hurt me. i finally decided that i will stay away if that's what she wanted until i heard your conversation. i knew that she is facing problems with her family but seeing her condition that day i tried to reason with myself regarding her behavior but the hurt was more as it was not only because what she said that day but also before when she broke the promise. yesterday when she informed me about the meeting i got furious. half of the reason that it was the most important deal of my career and half because i didn't expected her to be unprofessional. it got skipped from my mind that she was not home from 3 days and i bursted out on her. then she left and at night sent a long msg you have already read." sid sighed resting back on the chair.

"that's a lot. well instead of discussing over what have happened is waste of time. lets talk about age ka plan." anu started but sid interrupted.

"before that please tell me something about the reason of her being this way." sid urged.

"i can just tell you that she is alone right now. of course she have me but i am her best friend and whatever i do i can not fulfill the void in her life. she is devoid of love for a very long now. so she needs that." anu sighed.

"how alone? she lived with her mother and brother." sid asked confused.

"not anymore. they left her." anu said in low sad tone. well this was a shock for sid now. now he can somehow understand her messed up state from past 2 days. smile gone, lost and tired. he regretted his bursting on her. but whats done was done, now he is determined to make everything right in her life.

"what's the plan?" sid asked and anu smiled. apart from all irritating and annoying she knew he was a nice man and will be best for her best friend.

"well nothings planned. aise mamlo me planning zada kam nahi ati so abhi ke lie sirf goals. so abhi getting her back to work is of no use." anu said and sid's face well making anu laugh.

"don't worry jaldi wapas aa jayegi. abhi vo mat soch plan pe dhayn de." anu said chuckling looking at sid's flushed face.

"right now she needs a break. away from all this. so our college is having a trip to shimla and a few more places. its a 10 days trip, so i want you to come. can you?" anu asked.

"when?" sid asked.

"next week." anu informed.

"okay i'll manage. but what are we going to do?"

"for the starters, making her your friend again and then giving her assurance that she is not alone. aur fir tum apni love story age badane ki koshish karna because love is the only solution to her problem." and said making sid blush.

"ab sharma bad me lieo. pehle yeh janle ki its gonna be tough. she does not believe in relationships and love and all. you have to work hard. aur main to hu help karne ke lie." anu said and sid nodded.

"okay so i need to know all the plans of the trip, like where you guys will be going and what's the plan. secondly i need to now the hotel you are staying at. and third and the most important we need to have the adjacent rooms for anytime meet and greet."

"okay so here's a problem. rooms hum nahi college decide karta hai. aur sana is james bond ka lady version. use ek min nahi lagega to figure ki sab plan kia hai humne." anu said dramatically.

"to ekdum last room tum dono ka hona chahyi jiske bad se common public ke lie rooms start hote ho to sab natural lagega." sd shrugged.

"hann but rooms hum nahi select karte na." anu whined.

"you are in VMMC right?" sid aske and anu nodded.

"i'll take care of the rooms and all. don't worry." sid said.

"hayee sacchi" anu squealed and sid chuckled seeing her excited self.

"okay so deal done plan sana patao is set." anu said smiling and sid laughed at the name she has giving.

"yeah deal done." sid confirmed.

"bas ab ek kam bacha hai."

"kya?"

"sana ko trip pe jane ke lie manana." anu answered and sid freaked.

"plan sana patao mein abhi sana hi nahi hai. are you serious. patani kaise hoga yeh plan successful tumhare sath." sid sighed.

"oo hello tum na apne apko zada samjho mat. i'll take care of that. main bohot smart hu samjhe." anu said flipping her hairs. sid gave her YEAH-RIGHT wala look.

"now bye bye. i'll tell you about the further updates later and yeah please pay the bill okay." anu said getting up and taking her bag from adjacent seat.

"why me?" sid asked completely perplexed at her sudden demand.

"kyuki tum ameer ho aur yeh restraunt thora mehenga aur vaise bhi yahan tumahri love story age badana ke lie discuss kar rahe the. okay bye now" anu said and ran towards the exit. sid shook his head at her dramatic self. he payed the bill and left the place.
