Gone

The weather outside the loop had interfered with the weather inside therefore it had been storming all day.

         That's when it happened.

"IM DONE!" Victor yelled. Claire, surprised by this action buried her face into my shoulder. "Victor! What's wrong!?" Bronwyn said "EVERYTHING!" He yelled "IM DONE WITH THIS STUPID LOOP!" At that he stormed out of the house. Bronwyn tried to calm him but he shut the door in her face.

She ran off to her room. Everyone was still sick. Emma was sitting on the couch alone. Abe never came down from his room anymore.

It had been eight hours since Victor left and he hadn't come back. Bronwyn and Miss Peregrine had gone to look for him a while ago. Suddenly Bronwyn burst open the door and ran up to her room so fast I could barely see her. She shut the door so hard I thought it would fall off its hinges.

Abe ran out of his room only to throw up. Emma who looked worried to see two close people in such bad conditions. Miss Peregrine ran through the door with a limp body in her arms.
I gasped in shock and so did the others.
I covered Claire's and Olive's eyes. This could only mean one thing. Victor was dead.

Abe finally managed to stagger down the stairs. He fell to the floor and Emma rushed over to help him. "Miss Bloom and Miss Hunt put the little ones to bed!" Miss Peregrine yelled from the infirmary. I grabbed Claire's hands and walked upstairs. She went to bed without protest.

When I came downstairs I saw Emma trying to get Abe on the couch."Emma, stop that hurts..." he mumbled. Emma ignored him. We finally got him resting on the couch. He moaned a bit and I said to Emma "Why does he have the worst of it?" Emma thought deeply about what I said and answered "Maybe cause he hasn't been close to peculiars as long?" She was feeding him soup as Miss Peregrine instructed. He eventually fell asleep and the others went upstairs which led us to watching Abe. Miss Peregrine came down to reset the loop and asked us "Is Abe doing any better?" We shook our heads. "Then take him up to the infirmary." She said.

We followed her instructions and carried him into a bed two down from Victor's. I looked down at his expressionless face and felt a tear roll down my face. Only Bird knows what can help us now.
