I woke up to the alarm go off and got ready for the day, wearing a white tank top and blue jeans with white converse.

"Ready for the day, darling?"Dad asked at the breakfast table. But I was too engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't hear.

"Hey, where are you lost?"

"Hmmm, ha, yes, Ready for the day, I was just thinking about the fest" I lied. Because all I was thinking about, was something I could n't get them involved in, because they would involve Olivia's parent's in it.

"How was the stuff fetching yesterday?"

"What fetching?" My parents grew their eyelids, telling me it's obvious, which fetching 'the hoardings for the event'. Damn, I'm screwed.

"Yah, the hoarding, right, good, but there is still a lot of work on my hands."

Both of them nodded and smiled, telling me they are proud of their daughter, who handles the societies and manages all the events. Well, only if they knew, I wasn't being honest. Definitely not 'the' proud moment for me.

Carter usually picked Olivia for school, and Ryan and Adam would come together, and since I lived in the opposite direction from any one of their houses, I was the one who had to drive herself to school, and I'm not complaining, I love driving thought. I wasn't sure about Olivia today, so I called her, asking her if she would like me picking her today for school, but she said she needed to talk to Carter on the way to school, and I got the hint.

The way we entered the school parking was like straight out of a movie. We would usually meet on the way to school, and enter the school parking together, one car after the other. Adam's or Ryan's car first, followed by my car, and next would be Carter's or Olivia's car. So technically, we were the popular group of the school. The popular group of brats as they would call us. But we never minded that. People talk. That's all they do. And that is the only thing they could do to us.

But today was different, as I was driving I saw Adam's car behind me in the rear-view, so I gave him the indicator, signaling him to go in front, and after that, I noticed that the car after me wasn't Olivia's car, or even Carter's.  Where are they?

So after parking my car next to Adam's I went up to the bonnet of his car.

"Where are they?"I asked, looking at the relaxed expression on their faces.

"Carter wanted to take Olivia out for the day to get her mind of yeste....." Ryan said

Adam interrupted Ryan, "He needed to talk to Olivia, he couldn't yesterday after.... , you know".

"Olivia didn't tell me she is taking a day off today"

"Maybe she needed space to think, relax, she will be fine", Adam said.

"Summer is looking at you", I said looking at Ryan. I could see her as I was facing Ryan, and Ryan's back was towards her, she was standing at a distance on the staircase which leads to the hallway of the school building.

"I need to avoid her, she is a little persistent" said Ryan.

"Did you?" Adam asked.And I knew what he meant, so did Ryan.

"No, I didn't, she is way too clingy even for me to kiss her, so......"

"Guys, we will be late for class, shall we?"I said trying to change the topic, cause let's be real, I didn't wish to know more.

They looked at me, and the three of us started walking towards the school building. Ryan held me from the back, this was his usual trick to get girls of him. And not many girls had the guts to confront me as I was the 'dude' of the group, and the president of most of the societies.

Summer was looking at him, she didn't say anything when we passed her. And I knew she was just attracted to Ryan, and she was the Queen-B of school, so I wasn't playing with an innocent girl's heart, which I'll never let Ryan do, and he knew that. Except that I didn't mind his actions. After all, we were a family.

The day went by fine, we had classes and lunch, and I got a text from Olivia telling me to come to her house after school. Maybe she wanted to talk about Carter, after spending the day with him.

After the day was officially over, the three of us meet near my locked.

"We will be heading to the open market behind the mall" Adam said while the three of us headed to our cars.

"Right, I need to meet Olivia after that"

"hmm, we will make it quick", Adam said.

"How's Summer?"I asked the culprit.

"And how am I supposed to know that?" Ryan said.

"You had the same class, after lunch",I reminded him.

"She seems to take you seriously, didn't even look at me, phewwww, relief," he said.

"Who doesn't take her seriously?" Adam said.

"You don't", Ryan said, looking at Adam, giving him a serious look, before moving towards his car, as he drove Adam to School today.

I looked from Ryan to Adam, embarrassed, because I knew what he meant, he could see through me, and I did sense it before but never heard him say anything like this before.

Adam shrugged it thinking he meant the strength, or something else. I don't know what was he thinking, but that damn son of a....... left the two of us in awkward vibe before getting in the car and driving off.

"I'll drive" I looked at Adam, and handed the keys over to him,he is the trust-worthy one. I trust him with everything, I guess.

We placed all the orders, arranged all the things that had been finalized yet with the event, and headed over to our favorite ice-cream parlor. The parlor was owned by an old man, who treated us to free ice-creams when we were children, all 7 of us, including Sam and Katana. So growing us it became our spot. I placed our orders, mine being the usual, choco-chip, and his black-current. Taking the orders to Adam, I noticed him talking to someone, on the phone. I handed the ice-cream to him, as I sat opposite to him on the bench.

"Your parent's called, they couldn't reach you. They wanted to tell you, they will be late today, so lock the doors before sleeping, and dinner's in the fridge."

I did message mom after school, that I'll be with him, right.

"Listen, I'll drop you off, and I'll head over to Olivia's after this", I told Adam.

"Right"

"The two of you could use a talk after..."

"Yup" I cut him mid-sentence, and he looked back at his ice-cream.

I drove this time, and after transferring all the stuff from my car to his as discussed yesterday, I hopped in the car, waved at Adam, and went to Olivia's.

She opened the door before I could ring the bell, and took me to her room.

I knew something is wrong with her, so I sat on her bed and waited for her to begin, without asking her anything.

"Lucy" as soon as she said my name, I could see tears dwell in her eyes," I've cheated on Carter" and then she burst into tears.

"What?" I couldn't believe my ears, the thought that either one of them could cheat had never crossed my mind. They were the perfect couple. The one anyone could dream about.

"It was a month back, I met, Taylor, and we chatted a bit over a couple of beers in a night club, Carter wasn't in town so, I went there alone since none of you were up for a drink.", she confessed.

"You chatted?

"And then I know one thing leads to another, and I couldn't hold back", she said.

"You cheated on Carter with your ex?", I asked her shocked completely to what I had just heard.
