And I kept my eyes to the ground to avoid Adam's interrogating eyes. How does Ryan always manages to pull me out of such typical situations. If it wasn't for him, I would have been messed up much before.
I mouthed Ryan a 'thank you', and he mouthed 'always', while Adam was entering the class before us. We sat on our usual seats, but what wasn't usual about today was, that I couldn't pay attention in any of the classes today. All I had on my mind was the cave, because that was where it all started. Since then our lives haven't been normal, Olivia hasn't been normal.
In lunch, the three of us sat together on our usual table, and ate in silence, not the awkward silence though.
"Hey baby", Summer said approaching our table.
"Is she talking to you", Ryan whispered to Adam while to two were looking at her coming towards us.
"Why will she say that to me?", he said in return.
And what happened next surprised us all. Summer came to our table and kissed Adam on the lips.
"You should have told me that you liked me", she said.
"Ah?", was all Adam could say.
"Why did Ryan had to say that to me?", she said, and made our head turn to him. He on the other end was on the verge of laughing. I knew what he did. And I knew Adam wouldn't leave him for this. But to be honest, I wasn't going to leave him as well, for what he did.
Adam whispered something to Summer and asked her to come with hi in a corner. Ryan and I were looking at both of them while they were talking, and when I heard Ryan laugh, I couldn't take it anymore. So I emptied the glass of milkshake on his beautiful serum applied, blow dried soft hair, strawberry milkshake to be exact.
"Bloody Hell", Ryan exclaimed in shock.
"What was that for?", he asked.
"Why did you do that?", I asked him.
"It was supposed to be fun", he said.
"You shouldn't play around and fool people like this Ryan", I said to him.
He openned his mouth to say something, but then closed it forming an 'o'.
"You deserve this", Adam said after coming to our table and poured the contents of his chocolate milkshake on him as well.
Ryan was in shock and Adam and I laughed our hearts out.
"I don't wanna say this, but that was worth it", Ryan said.
"What did you say to her?", I asked Adam, after realizing Summer had left him alone to go sit with her friends on the benches.
"I have my ways", he said.
"That is exaclty why I did what I did", Ryan said giving me an explanation.
"I'm still not talking to you Ryan", I said to him. The only reason I was pissed of was because Summer had kissed Adam because of Ryan, and deep down I think I liked Adam and that definitely made me jealous.
"Fine, I'm sorry, but see I knew Adam has his ways , smooth ways out of such situations and she wasn't leaving me alone, late night calls and all the cliche things", Ryan said.
"Shut up", Adam said looking pissed.
"What are brothers for, after all", Ryan said and then attempted to hug Adam by going close to him. He kept his finger on Ryan's forehead, keeping him at an arms length distance from himself.
"Don't even try", Adam said.
"Fine", he said and then turned around to face me, "Hi Lue", saying this he next tried to hug me, and I got up from my place right in time for him to miss it.
The rest of the break went off in Ryan trying to clean himself up in the Boy's room, and I trying to stop myself from laughing everytime he came out of the room looking even worse, more like a wet cat.
The rest of the classes were fine. The day went off normally, and we had to met outside in the parking lot as always. Our last classes weren't same, mine being Spanish and their being French so I had to come to the parking lot from the other end of the building.
I could feel someone was here except me but I wasn't able to spot anyone.
