Souradip came to his office with a smile on his face.

Only he knows for how many days he has been waiting for this day when he can come in front of his Jhilam with his real identity. 

He also didn't want to use her sister's name while talking with her. Still he remembers that day when he for the first time realized that he has been in love with her. He didn't see her  photo at that time...it was way before that.

The day he realized his love ...from the very next moment it became the most important day for his life. 

He is thankful towards his friend who suggested that he should  read her books. Because of him, he got this precious gem,Jhilam in his life

When he saw her photo ,he was amazed. He thought the person who writes so good would be someone very fair or something. Well,naturally we all think the same thing. It's a natural human trait.
He has never been a person who falls for someone's fairness. From him beauty has  always been about a person's inner self ,behavior and nature .

Seeing her smile in the photo he once again fell in love with this dusky beauty. 

The day when he saw her in front of him...his heart skipped several beats seeing her.

 But the moment, she said those accusing words to him ,he understood that he had messed up everything and felt guilty for hiding his identity like this.

But finally everything is on track and now he will do anything to win her heart.

Suddenly he felt a pat on his shoulder and looked up to see it was his friend. 

"Back to earth ,Souradip. Boss is coming for a round." He said to him. Souradip again started working with a smile on his face.

On the other hand, Jhilam is …..happy? She doesn't know why but she is feeling as if a big burden is removed from her chest and currently she is satisfied. She is again smiling and her grumpy mood has vanished in a thin air.

That night they talked once like old times but the difference was that Souradip was talking with her from his Instagram account. 

Days started to pass like this . They became best friends and exchanged their numbers as well.

Souradip goes to meet her daily in her college after she finishes her classes. They talk for an hour and after that Jhilam goes to her home and Souradip goes to the office.

Her friends also tease the hell out of her about Souradip and she blushes like anything which she found weird because she hadn't blushed for anyone before like the way she does now.

Whenever he tries to talk about his proposal to her,she tells him that she is happy being friends with him. She doesn't want a love relationship with him. That makes Souradip disappointed but he masks with a fake smile which doesn't go unnoticed by Jhilam.

Jhilam felt sad seeing his disappointment but she didn't say anything. She was insecure about her looks. According to her,Souradip is very handsome and established in his life whereas she is not beautiful according to the norms of society. So she thinks that she doesn't deserve him. She is happy to give him the thing he deserves if she has to let go her love. 

Yes,she loves him but doesn't want him to know as she doesn't deserve him. So she thought it's ok to be best friends. 

Everything was going smoothly until the day came in their life which changed each and everything.

That day Jhilam was very excited because last night she understood that she can't live without him as Somdutta and Debomitra made her understand when they got to know what kind of stupidity she was going to do by sacrificing her love for him and rejecting his love for her.

So she decided that the very next day she will tell him that she loves him.

She went out of her campus with that determination but the scene in front of her made her smile flattered. 

There Souradip was talking with a girl and laughing with her as well.
Seeing them like this ,she felt jealous. 

"Oh ho,Jhilam ..maybe they are friends. You should stop thinking too much. " she tried to console herself but stop the nagging feeling which came in her heart.

She went towards them and waited for them to notice her. 

After a few seconds, Souradip turned towards her and introduced the girl as Sayantani and Jhilam was introduced as well.

Jhilam noticed that the lady is beautiful - Slim,Fair and tall.Her knee length skirt and white shirt was highlighting her curves . 

"Oh hi...so you are Jhilam..I was so excited to meet you and see ,Finally we met. " Sayantani said and pulled her in a hug which Jhilam awkwardly returned.

"Aare char ok. (Aare Leave her). She is feeling suffocated. " Souradip joked and Sayantani slapped his arm laughing. 

After that they were too busy in themselves to notice Jhilam which hurt Jhilam beyond imagination. Finally she told them bye and left from there ignoring them who were calling her name.

That night when Jhilam and Souradip were talking ,Souradip was only talking about Sayantani which irked Jhilam too much.

After an hour of talking, Jhilam laid down on the bed .

The frustration and pain which was bubbling inside her came out as her tears and she cried to sleep.

Next day she went to college. After finishing her classes she came out and waited for Souradip but couldn't find him. That day he didn't come and in fact he didn't pick up her call and only messaged her that he was busy.

Suddenly Jhilam felt that he didn't love her. Obviously Sayantani was  beautiful which she wasn't. If Souradip chooses her ,ignoring Jhilam, she wouldn't be surprised. 

She went home and after taking shower she opened her Instagram.  The picture she saw shocked her to the core.

There was Souradip with Sayantani in Esplanade .
The picture was captioned

" Shopping with this amazing Lady. #busymorning"

Seeing this ,Jhilam started to cry bitterly as she felt her heart break.

That night she didn't reply to any texts from Souradip and decided to not think about him.

Next day as usual Souradip wasn't in front of her college which made her upset but she masked it infront of her friends. They knew everything which happened between them but chose not to comment. 

In the evening, when Jhilam was studying ,Debomitra called her.

Debomitra : Hey Jhilam
Jhilam : Say 

Debomitra: Actually, tomorrow evening, I am organising a small get together as I will introduce you with my boyfriend .You have to come.

Jhilam : Please I am not in the mood.

After lots of effort Debomitra managed to convince her. She told Jhilam to come dressed up a bit as they are going to have a photo session which Jhilam found ridiculous and told her not to worry as she will manage Jhilam's mother to allow her to go to her house.

Next day in the evening, Debomitra came and picked her up and her mother warned her to come within 9pm sharp.

They reached and Debomitra managed to send her to her terrace. 

Entering the terrace, Jhilam got shocked to see the view in front of her.

There was Souradip bending on his knees with a bouquet of red and pink roses in his hand. 

"Jhilam , My words are not enough to say how much I love you. 

I never felt for anyone like this before what I feel for you. I love you just the way you are. I love Jhilam who is beautiful inside out.

So Author, Will you be my girlfriend ?" 

Jhilam was shocked but still she asked ,"But you already have Sayantani.. propose to her...why me?"

Souradip looked at her as if she had grown three heads and said ,"Why would I propose my friend's girlfriend?"

Jhilam's eyes widened hearing him and Souradip understood that she misinterpreted everything. 

Then he explained how Sayantani was going crazy to meet her and she helped him in shopping for the arrangements of this proposal. Debomitra was informed yesterday only about the plan and here it is.

"So now will you accept me?" Souradip asked her again. 

This time Jhilam gave him a full blown smile with teary eyes and said , "Yes, I will be your girlfriend. " making Souradip the happiest man on the earth.

So the proposal happened.
