It was a beautiful morning in Shetty Household. All have woken up and ready for breakfast except their private Kumbhkaran ki beti that is our very own Athiya.

Sunil: Mana.. Where is Tia?

Ahan: Our sleeping beauty is sleeping

Mana: What?

Sunil: Oh shit

Ahan first looked at his parents with what expressions but then he too remembered and was shocked.

Ahan: Oh Shit. What the F..

He stopped as he found his parents looking actually glaring at him.

Ahan: Fish.. What the Fish.. I am going to wake her up.

He ran upstairs and started shaking Ahan.

Ahan: Tia.. Oy Moti utho..

Athiya: Oy Monkey sone de.

Ahan: It's already 9 AM Tia wake up.

Athiya: Stupid monkey. Don't say lie. I'll tell Appa that you are lying about the time to wake me up.

She took the duvet and covered herself completely. Ahan shook his head.

Ahan: Lagta hai ab wahi karna padega.

Athiya was smiling in sleep while having a dream of being in the Cricket Stadium with her crush. She was really very happy. Her crush has hold her from her waist and they were looking at each other with wide smile on their faces. But suddenly She was drenched in cold water.

Athiya: What the hell?

She opened her eyes and was glaring at Ahan who was smiling at her with bucket in his hand.

Athiya: What are you doing here monkey? You were not at stadium.

Ahan: Hey hold on. What stadium? Wait.. Main just bucket bhar ke aya tab tak you slept and even started having dream.

He asked in disbelief. Athiya looked here and there hearing Dream from Ahan and finally registered that she was in her own room. But then again she remembered that she was drenched by his brother.

Athiya (shouting): Appa.. Appa..

Athiya came downstairs and started complaining about Ahan.

Athiya: Appa.. See.. This monkey drenched me in cold water

Mana: Tia..

Athiya: No Mumma.. Do not take his side please..

Mana facepalmed herself.

Sunil: Ahan.. Are you kid? Kitni baar mana kiya hai

Mana: Aap main point pe aaiye na Sunil

Athiya: Offo Mumma.. He is on main point. Monkey drenched me to usko bol rahe hai.

Ahan: Haan. Yeh main point hai. Mujhe kaha flight pakadni hai. Mujhe kaha ICT ke sath kam karna hai right Moti.

Athiya suddenly got reminded that she has got her dream job.. working with ICT. And today she has to meet them at Airport as they all were travelling to England for a series. And this series was her first series as the manager of ICT.

Athiya: Oh shit. Main ready hoke aati hoon. Monkey hazar baatein karega lekin kam ki baat kabhi nahi karega. Idiot kahi ka.

She ran to upstairs blabbering whatever came to her mind and rest all were chuckling at her antics.

Ahan: Ab kal se main kisko pareshan karunga. I'll get bored

Sunil: Beta yeh to shuruaat hai. Jab iski shaadi ho jayegi na to sab se zyada tujhe hi rona ayega..

Ahan made a pout but then instantly smiled.

Ahan: Idea.

Mana: What?

Ahan: Main jiju ko apna best friend bana lunga. Phir hum dono milke team bana ke apki ladli ko pareshan karenge. Waise pareshan to main abhi bhi kar hi sakta hoon

Sunil  and Mana did not pay any heed as it was anyways very much normal for them. Athiya quickly got ready and came downstairs. They had breakfast and Sunil, Mana and Ahan came to drop Athiya to Air port. Ahan was driving the car.

Ahan (teasing in low voice): Waise moti.. All the best.. Apne crush ko dekh ke bolti bandh na ho uske liye

Athiya hit him lightly but couldn't hide the slight blush came on her face. She looked behind at her parents who were sitting while holding their hands. She smiled and again looked ahead and manifested the similar kind of love in her life. Instantly her crush's face came in front of her eyes and she quickly looked down feeling shy because of her own imaginations. Her trance broke as Ahan stopped the car as they reached air port. They all got out from the car. Ahan took out the luggage and then Athiya met her family hugging them controlling her tears as she has never live without them for a long time and here she was going on a quite a long tour. Sunil and Mana motivated her whereas Ahan cracked some joke to lighten the atmosphere.

Athiya: Monkey take care of Mumma.. Appa and yourself too okay. I don't want any complaint of yours else I'll share all your secrets to Mumma and Appa.

Ahan (dramatically): Jo Hukum Mere Mote Akah

Athiya whacked him to which all chuckled. Ahan hugged her making her smile.

Ahan: You don't worry sis. I'll take care of everything okay.

Athiya nodded in yes and then she went inside the Air port whereas rest Shettys went to their home while having moist eyes.

Athiya called Mahi once the formalities were completed to ask where the team is to which he said that he is coming to take her. Athiya was waiting for Mahi who came in 5 minutes.

Mahi: Hey Tia

Athiya: Hi Mahi bhai

Mahi: So all set for new job?

Athiya (nervously): Yeah

Mahi: It's okay to be nervous Tia. Sakshi told me how much you are confident even when you used to be so under grade still qualified for participating with higher class students. And how much good you were.

Athiya felt motivated and smiled at him thanking him. They were talking while walking towards the waiting area of the team.

Mahi: See.. they there were

He said pointing towards the players who have already reached the air port. Athiya scanned them and tried to find the certain someone but could not. Her face fell but she knew she is gonna meet today so she calmed down.

Mahi: Waise Sakshi told me that In one of the contest in the school, you were soo good that you have almost defeated Sakshi and Anu both.

Hearing this Athiya stopped at her place. Tears collected in her eyes but she composed herself.

Mahi: Was that true Tia?

Athiya smiled at him and nodded in yes. She cleared her throat.

Athiya: Hum team ke paas chalte hai

Mahi felt strange at her quite off try to divert the topic but anyways nodded in yes. They reached to the team.

Mahi (clapping): Boys

All looked at him and were surprised to see him with a girl. Athiya felt quite nervous.

Mahi: Let me introduce you all to our new Team Manager. Please welcome Athiya Shetty

Athiya: Hey Guys

Ash: Hey Athiya. Welcome to the team

Athiya: Thanks Ash Bhai

Ash smiled at her simplicity and her simple and casual way to call him Bhai. He was quite impressed with it.

Mahi: Boys let's introduce ourselves formally

Athiya: I know them Bhai

Bhuvi: So what. Rules are rules. Hi Athiya.. This Bhuvneshwar Kumar. You can call me Bhuvi

Athiya: Hi Bhuvi Bhai

Rishu: Hi I am Rishabh.

Athiya: Athiya here

Jaddu: Hi Athiya. Ravindra Jadeja here.

Athiya: Hi Jaddu Bhai

Jaddu: Yeh iska sahi hai. Samne se hi nickname se bula Rahi hai. Hume samjana to nahi padega. I am so relieved Mahi Bhai

All chuckled.

Hardik: Hey Athiya. Hardik here

Athiya: Hi Harry

Harry: You know nicknames of all of us

Athiya: Yup. I am a big fan of ICT.

Athiya looked here and there.

Athiya: Baki ke log kaha hai?

Harry: Oh they must be coming.

Soon enough Jassi and Sanjana came there. They both greeted the team.

Athiya: Hi Jassi. Athiya here. The new team manager

Jassi: Oh Hi. So you are the one jiski Mahi Bhai kafi tareef kar rahe the

Athiya: Bhai..

Mahi: Are Bhai Sakshi ne itni tareef ki thi tumhari aur phir Maine khud ne dekha tha tumhe college ke functions me aur Sakshi ko assist karte hue. Kaise tareef na Karu batao

Sanjana: Hey Athiya

Athiya: Hi Sanju. Don't mind main nickname se bulana prefer karti hoon aur woh na ho to ek nickname de deti hoon. I hope that's okay

She said last line nervously looking at Sanjana who chuckled at her cute antics and allowed her to call her by nickname.

Athiya: Achchha aap log please apne documents de dijiye main ek sath submission karwa dungi.

All started giving her the required documents. Soon enough Shami, KulCha and Siraj joined them and they all introduced themselves to Athiya and she too did the same.

Athiya: Harry.. Rahul, Ro Bhai, Jinks Bhai and The Captain all have still not arrived. Even see Rahul sir, Bharat sir everyone has come. Can you contact them? I have not received all contact details till now.

Harry: Chill baba.. Rah is here only just went to have some coffee. He was having a headache so..

Athiya (worriedly): Headache? I hope he is fine. Do we need to see the doctor?

Harry: Hey Chill. It was just a headache. Nothing serious.

Athiya didn't say anything but she was looking towards cafetaria to see whether Rahul is coming or not.

Harry (with raised eyebrows): By the way why are you so much tensed when I said Rah was having headache?

Athiya was quite shocked with his question. She started fumbling.

Athiya (fumbling): No.. I mean.. aisa.. actually.. nothing.. nothing like that..

Harry: Nothing like what?

He again asked with raised eyebrows.

Athiya: I mean.. maine.. maine to aise hi bol diya. Agar doctor ki zarurat ho to bas..

Athiya said it while looking here and there and still fumbling. But Harry was not at all convinced.

Athiya: Main.. main baki sab se puchh leti hoon koi kam ho to.

She said it and turned to go without waiting for Harry's reply but as soon as she turned, she collided with a person and the documents she was having flew in the air and were showering upon Athiya and that person.

Athiya has closed her eyes fearing the fall but found herself caught in strong arms. She felt secured in those arms and she really didn't know why. Her trance broke by a soothing voice.

Person: Hey.. Are you alright?

Athiya slowly opened her eyes only to find herself securely hanging in the arms of her crush.. One and only The K L Rahul

Athiya was shockingly surprised. She really likes Bollywood kinda first meets but she never thought her first meet with her crush will be a similar one. She felt that violins were playing in the background giving their approvals for her crush. Rahul and Athiya both were busy in staring each other.

Rahul was confused on what happened to that clumsy girl who collided with him but he has found her cute and lovable.

Rahul (in mind): What the hell? How can I call someone lovable when I don't even know her name and by the way who is she. But.. why am I not able to show my disinterest? Why I feel good while looking into her eyes.

Rahul cleared his throat to get out of his thoughts. It broke Athiya's trance too. They both stood up properly only to find rest all looking at them teasingly. Athiya blushed whereas Rahul rolled his eyes.

Rahul: Hey.. Are you okay?

Athiya: Haan?? Haan.. I am.. I am fine thanks

She said while being all nervous and fumbling one. Rahul felt strange at her behaviour but he shrugged it off.

Harry: Rah.. Meet Athiya.. our new manager and Athiya he is Rah..

Athiya and Rahul shook hands formally greeting each other but before they could leave the hands, RohIka and Virushka reached there with Sammy and Vami. Anushka was behind everyone with Vami so she was not seen by Athiya.

Rohit: Hey guys

Rest all: Hi

Rohit: Hey welcome Athiya

Athiya: Thanks Ro Bhai.

Rahul: You know her?

Virat: Even I know her Rahuliya. Welcome to the team Athiya

Athiya smiled formally at him to which Virat again felt quite weird. He was trying to make her comfortable since she got selected and had a meeting with Him, Rohit, coach and board members but her behaviour towards him was still a different.

Rahul: Don't call me that Vi..

Athiya chuckled hearing this catching everyone's attention specially Rahul. He for a second got lost in her smiling chuckling figure but soon shook his head and composed himself.

Ritz: Hey Athiya. Ritika here and she is Samaira aka Sammy

Athiya: I know you bhabhi and glad to meet you

Sammy: Same here

Athiya: Are apko bhi mujse milke achchha laga?

Sammy: Nahi.. Mujhe Apki aur Rah chachu ki Jodi achchhi lagi

Sammy said chuckling making Rahiya shocked but soon Athiya could not help but blush and Rahul was still shocked whereas rest all were chuckling.

Ritz: Sammy.. sush. I am sorry on her behalf

Rahiya both smiled awkwardly at her.

Athiya: Aap sab apne documents de dijiye main submission kar dungi.

Rohit: Haan woh na waha hai

Virat: Ro.. kya aur kidhar?

Ritz: Main batati hoon. Documents iss bag me hai Ro I know maine khud rakhe hai

Rohit: But I remembered it na

Ritz: Of course because you already knew ki tumhare uper to uss baat ki responsibility thi nahi. So obviously yad rakho ya na rakho chalega hi.

And RohIka got busy in their banter and rest all were enjoying it. Meanwhile Rahiya were still unaware that they have still hold each other's hands.

Anu came there and saw RohIka were busy in their banter and Virat was looking for something in the bag. She frowned and went to him.

Virat: Yeh documents Dene hai. Lekin file kahi atak rahi hai

Anu: Wait..

She took out the file slowly.

Anu: Here it is

Virat: Haan woh yeh new manager hai isko Dene hai

He said while handling Vami who have come to his godi as soon as Anu reached there. Vami was busy in playing with Virat's beard and moustache till the time Anu was taking out the file.

Anu: Where is the new manager?

Virat: There she is with Rah

Anu went to her taking few steps and came in front of Athiya and Rahul.

Anu: Yeh documents..

She said this much when she saw it was none other than Athiya who was the new manager of the team. Athiya and Anu both were shocked looking at each other.

Unknown to Athiya, she has hold Rahul's hand tightly looking at Anu. Rahul looked at the hold and then at Athiya. He could see some kind of fear on her face. Then he followed her gaze which stopped on Anu. He was confused seeing her reaction but understood that something is not right between her and Anu as she too was looking very much shocked.

Anu was looking here and there and did not saying anything. She has become more stiff. Virat who have witnessed her getting stiff went to her. He could see that she was somewhat uncomfortable while looking at Athiya.

Virat took the file from her hand and forwarded it to Athiya.

Virat: Our documents

Athiya: Haan?

Virat: Documents..

He signed at the file and Athiya took it.

Virat: My wife and team doctor Dr Anushka

Athiya: Hi..

Anu: Hi..

Athiya and Anu both were looking here and there not at all looking at each other. Athiya saw Vami playing with Virat's beard and moustache and a small smile came on her face and she was about to caress her hair but stopped midway and composed herself. Rahul and Virat both have noticed it.

Athiya: Let me.. let me just submit this docs.

Saying so she just went from there. Virat looked at Anu who too went from there going towards Ritz and started talking random things.

Virat (in mind): Kuchh to gadbad hai.

Rahul (in mind): Yeh Athiya ko kya ho gaya Anu bhabhi ko dekh ke.

Athiya came in a while and asked them to board the flight as it's the time. They all took their hand luggage and board the flight.

Anu just took the window seat and closed her eyes. Athiya saw all have settled and she too took her seat near window and closed her eyes allowing her tears to fall
