chapter twenty nine.

Sorry not sorry — Demi Lovato

GIANINA SIGHED AS SHE ENTERED THE WAREHOUSE KLAUS HAD SECTIONED OFF. She was quite mad that Stefan and Klaus had interrupted her time with Katherine but, appearances, appearances. Appear loyal to Klaus, gain a hybrid army that would ensure nobody would ever try to get her humanity back.

"You just can't live without me, can you two?" The Salvatore girl asked confidently as she approached. "Oh— that's disgusting."

Laying there was a body the shade of a sheet of paper, a large dagger in the woman's chest, and a hideous dress from the twenties.

"Ah, just in time. I didn't want you to miss out on this, you were quite close to my dear Rebekah too." Klaus commented.

"No I wasn't, i've never even met either of you." Gia scoffed lightly.

"No time to explain." The other hybrid looked into her eyes. "Remember everything that happened in the twenties, me, you, Rebekah, Stefan, all of it."

A rush of memories came flooding back into the Salvatore's mind. Months in Chicago that she hadn't even remembered, time with Stefan she didn't remember. Sad part was, she couldn't be bothered enough to care, at least not yet.

"If I could get mad, I would probably pissed you took that from me." Gianina folded her arms across her chest, rolling her eyes.

"Someone want to fill me in here?" Stefan asked, confused as ever.

"Not really." Both hybrids spoke up at the same time, leaving the vampire absolutely clueless.

"Don't tell her you don't recognize her, Rebekah's temper is worse than mine." Klaus ripped the dagger from her heart. "Time to wake up, little sister."

The trio waited for a few minutes for her to wake up, then, they are began to grow antsy.

"She's being dramatic." The hybrid man insisted as he watched her body laying lifeless in a coffin.

"Not sure I would want to wake up looking like that either." Gianina said with a shrug.

"Look, why don't you just tell me what the hell is going on? I mean, you obviously want me here for a reason, right?" Stefan asked, his arms crossed.

Gia simply rolled her eyes, all his questions were making her head spin and not in the good way Katherine would have made it spin.

"Well, you have many useful talents." Klaus responded with a shrug.

"Do I?" The Salvatore man asked, angry as ever.

"In fact, I learned some of my favorite tricks from you."

Klaus, Rebekah, Stefan, and Gianina all sat at a booth in Gloria's, their favorite spot to cause mischief. The others did more than Gia, she simply did enough to make her brother happy and then stopped. Her heart really couldn't take much more than she was already giving.

"So Stefan, enlighten me. What makes you worthy of an original like my sister?" Klaus asked. "She's a pure vampire and you're no more than a diluted bloodline."

"Don't listen to him, Stefan. Nik's an elitist." Rebekah responded, sending her brother a glare.

"No, it's alright. I am wondering what makes him good enough for my sister. She's practically as saintly as a vampire can get and you're well, Klaus Mikaelson." The Salvatore man responded smugly.

"I think that's just about enough of this conversation." Gianina spoke, clearing her throat.

"Fine, where's the rest of your family then?" Stefan asked, holding up his drink and putting it to his lips.

"Well, let's see." Niklaus put a protective arm around Gia. "I killed most of them."

"Oh!" The ripper vampire yelled, completely amused.

"That's a new one." Gianina's eyes widened slightly. He must've had his reasons, right?

"But not all." Rebekah defended.

"...and you're okay with that?" Stefan asked, trying to grasp the situation at hand.

"Well, we all had the chance to choose a side. I chose the right one, eventually." The blonde smiled at her brother.

"Don't take any lessons from them." Gianina said, narrowing her eyes at her brother. "If you kill me i'll haunt you."

The group all laughed to themselves as some man approached them.

"Where the hell is my wife?" He asked angrily, all of them turning their attention to him.

"Oh fun, a guessing game." Gia smiled. "I love those, it really challenges your mind."

"I don't know, sister. I give up already." Stefan said with a grin.

"You all think you're so tough? Hiding in your bar, drinking your liquor? A telephone call to Chicago P.D will set you straight." The man yelled.

The whole quartet faked gasps, looking at each other with smiles on their faces.

"Lila." Stefan pointed to afar. "Lila, please. Come here for a second."

"Oh, thank god." The man let out a relieved sigh but Gia knew better than to think this would be the end, there was no end with this version of her brother. "Come on, we're leaving."

He tried to take his wife and go but, Stefan grabbed the mans arm, stopping him.

"Oh, no, no, no. You're sitting." It was quite obvious the man had been compelled by the trance he was in.

"He's a lunatic." Gianina mumbled, planting a hand on her face and sighing.

The couple sat down, the wife by Stefan and husband by Klaus. Stefan removed her glove, taking out a switchblade and looking directly into the husbands eyes. The real torture aspect was the fact he wouldn't be able to do a thing while his wife was being sliced open.

"Stefan, don't be so mean." Rebekah whined, leaning in closer to him.

"What the hell are you doing?" The man asked, his voice full of concern as his wife's blood dripped from her wrist and into a champagne glass.

"Thank you so much, Lila. Why don't you go bandage that up?" As Lila left, the Salvatore turned his attention to her husband. "I'd like you to join me for a drink."

He slid the glass over, Gia becoming faintly intrigued and guilty that she didn't want to stop her brother. This is why she left to New York, he brought out a side of her. The bad side.

"What kind of sick freaks are you?" The man asked, probably thinking he was losing his mind by now.

"I said, drink." Stefan demanded, a smug look on his face. He had power over this guy and he knew it.

"The faster you do it, the faster it will be over with." Gianina commented, waiting for him to do what her brother had said.

The man shakily lifted the cup of his wife's blood to his lips, never taking his wide eyes off of Stefan. He took a nauseating sip of it, tears threatening to escape his eyes. Sad part was, the Salvatore girl didn't feel bad, she was entertained.

"I didn't catch your name." Stefan said, leaning over the table.

"Go to hell." The dark haired man replied angrily.

"Do you want another sip..." the Salvatore trailed off, not knowing the mans name.

"Liam... Grant."

"Well, have another sip, Liam. Finish it." The group all clinked glasses with him, laughing away.

"I was your number one fan. It was practically unbelievable you managed to keep Gianina in your good graces after all your bad deeds, that intrigued me even more." Klaus said, finishing off the story as the group walked through the warehouse.

"Why should I believe any of this?" Stefan questioned.

"Oh my god, shoot me." Gia sighed.

"Gianina, I need you to stay here, when she wakes up, meet us at Gloria's bar, and tell her to eat him." Klaus ignored her brother's questioned and pointed at a security guard they were passing by.

IT WAS ABOUT AN HOUR BEFORE REBEKAH WOKE UP. She sat up in the coffin breathless, looking around the room. Gia sat there expressionless, her legs crossed and chin perching on her hand.

"It's about damn time, I was starting to think you were dead for real and i'm pretty sure Klaus wouldn't have liked that." Gianina said, a smirk forming on her lips.

"Gianina? What happened? That bastard! He daggered me." The blonde huffed, making her way outside of the coffin. "..and what are those dreadful clothes you are wearing?"

"I'm just going to fill you in so you stop talking, it's 2011, yes, your brother did dagger you and no, I don't have my humanity on so don't expect hugs, maybe kisses, but not hugs." The Salvatore girl shrugged.

"Why didn't you try to undagger me? We were best friends." Rebekah frowned, hurt by what was happening. "and more."

"You must be hungry." Gia ignored the question, placing her fingers in her mouth and whistling. "Come here, Tony! She's ready for you!"

The security guard entered the area, unbuttoning his shirt to allow the Mikaelson girl access.

"Go on, I know you want him." The Salvatore girl said slyly.

"Join me?" Rebekah asked. She wasn't just going to let everything that happened between them sink down the drain, no, never.

"I'd love to." Both girls let their fangs fall from their gums, veins pulsating through their eyes from the blood lust.

A duo indeed.
