Colbys pov
"Common guys! Just try one more time!" Elton laughed as Sam, Heath, and I were all sprawled out on the snow.
"No way. I'm too tired." Heath huffed.
"Come on! Please?" Elton asked one more time still dying of laughter.
I stood up on my snowboard and everyone else followed.
"I'm getting so tired." Sam huffed.
"Me too." I cracked.
"Well maybe we should get someone to show us how to do this." Elton suggested.
"Really? How we gonna do that?" Sam asked
"Just ask someone who looks like they know what they are doing." Elton responded
"We are really just gonna ask someone?" Sam questioned.
"Yeah!"
"How about her? She seems to know what she's doing!" Elton said pointing to a girl who just came down the mountain and stopped to talk to another girl.
"I guess." Sam shrugged.
We all walked over to her and Elton spoke up.
"Hey, excuse me but I know this is gonna sound weird but we are new to this and I was wondering if you could give us some pointers." Elton asked.
"Sure!" She shrugged.
"Wait really??" We all asked.
"Yeah, why not?"
Everyone including me cheered.

Your POV
I was talking to one of my snowboarding friends when a guy asked me to help them. I agreed and showed them a couple things.
"Okay so what do you guys want to know?" I asked.
"How do we like... stop?" One guy in the back said.
"Well the easiest way is like this. So when going down you're gonna dig you're heels into the ground. So your board will be going into the snow. Like this." I jumped to get my board going and I road down the hill to stop.
I walked back up and let them try. Most of them did pretty okay.
"And you don't wanna lean back too far otherwise you'll fall onto your butt."
After everyone mostly got it I showed them how to turn. They got it mostly except for one guy.
"Okay wait why is this actually really fun?" One guy piped up.
All the other guys disagreed.
"I'm done." Someone else said.
"Yeah I'm gonna ride down and be done." Someone else agreed
"same." A third chimed in.
"Well I wanna stay. Can you stay and teach me more?" He hoped.
"Sure. I don't mind. I spend all day out here!"
"Cool well I'll see you guys down their later?" He asked.
"Yeah sure." They all groaned and rode down the hill.
"I'm Colby by the way." He said.
"Y/n." I shook his hand.
"So what do you want to learn next?" I asked breathing heavily.
"I don't know. Show me some cool tricks."
I taught him how to 180 and how to grab his board on a jump.
He attempted to jump off a incline and he did okay.
"That was pretty good for your first time!" I clapped.
"Thanks. I try." He said pretending to flip his hair.
We both laughed and I said "I'll teach you one more thing and then you gotta get back to your boys."
"Okay, sounds good."
"I'll teach you how to do a manual." I clapped.
"Okay. What's that?" He asked
"It's basically a wheelie but for snowboards. You can do a nose manual or a tail manual."
"Tail manuals are generally easier so I'll teach you that."
"Sure."
"So what you are gonna do is when you're going downhill you're gonna pick up your front foot just a little and put all that pressure on your back foot."
I demonstrated in a still position.
"Okay. I'll try."
He did the trick and did it well!
"That was good!" I clapped.
"Okay we gotta go!" I also spoke.
"Okay. Let's go!"
We boarded down the hill, Colby looking just as talented as me. We made it back to the café and found his friends.
He met up with them and they thanked me for keeping Colby a little longer.
I gladly excepted their thank you and told them I had to bounce. They waved goodbye and I walked away.

Colby's pov
As she walked away she had taken her helmet off. She was stopped by a little girl who wanted to take a picture. As she took the picture she smiled. She seemed so sweet. She turned around to wave at us. Oh my god. She was so pretty!! So hot! My cheeks blushed up and my mouth hung open.
"Dude, you hung out with her??!" Elton said raising his voice a whole octave
"Y-yeah. I guess." I replied back
"You're so crushing." Heath laughed
"Hard." Sam added
"Well looks like we are just gonna have to come back again sometime." I smiled and walked out to the car.
