"Mom! Seriously?!"

I crosses my arms on my chest, looking at my mom with sulky face.

"I'm really sorry Jin-ah~ but this is your dad's job and we have to follow him.. "

"But mom! I don't want to change school!"

My mom sighed, she goes closer to me and softly ruffles my hair.

"Jin-ah..we have to understand, this job is really important for your dad, he can't refuse his boss..and moving to a big city like Seoul won't be a big deal, right?"

I swifted my mom's hand as i grumbled irritably "it's a huge problem mom! We never live in a big city and now you're telling me to move into one?? And go school there?! I heard it'll be full of bullying! I'm scared.." i sniffs.

"Who's going to bully my handsome son, huh?? I think you'll get popular instead of being bullied" my mom chuckles as she lightly pinch my cheek.

"Jin-ah, i'm sure that you'll get your best school life in the big city. And we'll get a better life too"

"What better life.." i sighed "i have a lot of friends here and i don't want to leave them.."

"But it doesn't mean you can't be friend with them anymore , right? And you will get more friends too, or even a lover" she grins.

At that time, i didn't know

How much my life changed.. because of a certain person.

"Jin-ah, do you want me to take you to your new school?" my mom asks me as she prepares some fried eggs for our breakfast.

"Nah" i shake my head, sitting on the dining room while playing with my phone "i'm not a child anymore, i'm in junior high already"

"Alright~ just make sure not to get lost, Jin-ah, you're not familiar with this city yet, didn't you?"

"Momm.." i rolled my eyes "what i have to do is only ride the bus from the bus station over there and drops into the school"

"Okay okay~ my son is mature enough to go to school by himself"

"Good that you know"

I went out of the house , looked around the unfamiliar environment where my house is located now. I don't even know a single person in this cluster area. Just right in time, a boy around my age went out of his house which located next to mine. He wore the same uniform as i did and he got inside the car which has waiting for him.

So jealous..

I sighed and walked to the bus station. Well- at least i can get to know this city better by riding the bus.

When i arrived, i was dumbfounded by how huge the school is. The building looked luxury and the environment is nice. I feel a bit weird for an ordinary person like me attend such a famous school.

I just stepped inside the building when i felt people are started to whisper to each others. Especially the girls, who was looking at me from head to toe. It makes me a bit uncomfortable.

"Look look, is it a new student??"

"So handsome!"

They whispered but i can hear them clearly. Their compliment makes me smile, well..who doesn't happy when being praised though? But being in this new school still makes me feel awkward.

At that time, a car arrived infront of the front yard. The door was clicked open and the boy from earlier came out of the car after waving to the other person who was driving.

He was small but his appearance was cute. His blazer was too big for him so that it makes his small body sink inside. He's carrying his backpack like a little kid as he walked into the building. As he got inside, i got fascinated by how cute he was. His face looked like a small puppy, and he has a lovely smile. He's looking here and there, looking a bit nervous and confused.

I guess he's new to this school too?

Then i go closer to him who's now looked like a lost puppy. It makes me laugh a bit, he's really cute..

"Um, hey"

I tapped his shoulder and he turns around to face me.

"Are you a new student?" i asked and he nods a bit.

"I'm also new here, do you want to go to the teacher's office together?"

He nods again while looking at me with sparkly eyes. He's smiling cutely and almost make me squeal with his cuteness.

"T-then..shall we go?"

"Yes!" he says happily.

I reply him with a smile then walked ahead. I'm looking here and there for the teacher office. Damn..this school is so damn huge!

As i walking, i can feel something clinging on my bag. I glance behind and see that boy was holding my bag's strap. He's following me like a lost puppy.

"Umm..i haven't ask your name yet.. I'm Hwang Hyunjin, i'm transfering into the first grade. How about you?" i asked him.

The boy giggles "i'm Kim Seungmin, transfering into the first grade too~ "

"Nice to meet you, Seungminie" i turned around and grabbed his wrist, pulls him to walk beside me.

"Don't walk behind me, you looked like a baby chick" i chuckled. He gives me a little nod while pouting his lips. I quickly looked away as i felt my cheeks turning pink.

After looking here and there, finally we arrived at the teacher's office and it turned out that we will go into the same class. Seungmin looked so happy with that, and so do I. Seungmin was my first friend since i move into this city and this school, and he looked really nice.

At that time, i didn't know that i will actually fell for this person.

Junior high feels really fast, we're not even realized how fast time has passed and we're already in the second grade. Since we're at the same class for the whole year, i spent most of my time with Kim Seungmin. And i love him so much because he's such a cute and funny friend.

But then, i figured out something started to feel a bit wrong.

I knew people around us has been talking about us of being too close and sometimes they even mistook us as a couple. Other students even scared to make friend with us, Isn't its fool? I mean- we're best friend and it's normal to be close right? Although i admitted that i never been this close to anyone before, even my past friends.

But somehow i felt so comfortable being with him. I can feel like myself, and i'm happy to be able to protect him.

And from him, i knew that Seungmin was also a new kid in this city, just like me. He moved with his brother , and his parents were passed away. His brother was his only family, that's why his brother, Wonpil got really protective with him. He spoiled Seungmin every time and it affects Seungmin's behavior. He became a spoiled kid who always wait for people to do everything for him.

But along this year, he said he's be able to change his bad behavior little by little and he's not always depend on his brother anymore. And he thanked me for being with him. I felt really happy, to be able to be friend with him, to be able to teach him everything, to be able to stay by his side.

We're already move to the second grade. I'm the one who felt really enthusiastic because finally we can choose the clubs we want to join. I always wanted to join a sport club because i love sports, especially basketball. But Seungmin, is the exact opposite from me. He doesn't like sports at all, he can't do all things i love to do. He's more like a nerd, a cute nerd.

"Minnie! I just passed the selection for the basketball team! And now i'm officially a member! Yeah!" i cheered happily.

Oh..and somehow, i started to call him Minnie. The nickname is really cute and suits him well.

Seungmin who was sitting across me, reading a book, gives me a smile. He softly ruffles my black hair "good for you, Jinnie~ you have to practice hard" he chuckles.

I nodded then i grabbed his hand, placing his palm on my cheek and close my eyes "i will do my best~ for you too.. Ahh~ your hand feels nice"

Seungmin giggles "eww ~ go away" he jokingly says, but it makes me hold his hand tighter and even plants a soft kiss on his knuckles.

"Yah~" Seungmin's cheeks suddenly turned red and he quickly pulls his hand. I giggled on his cuteness before i leaned my head on the table.

"Aah, i really hope we can go to the same club..so we won't be seperated.." i pouted.

Seungmin shakes his head as he smiles, he softly pats my head with his free hand "impossible, you knew that i won't do sports~ but at least we can still together on breaks"

"Only on breaks! I need more time with my Minnie, aahhh why should we go to different classes.." i whined.

Hell..yeah. Me and Seungmin were in different classes as we moved to second year and i'm so damn pissed. I even protested to the teacher but they ignored me. I hate being seperated with Minnie, it makes me felt lonely.

Ringgg ringgg

The class bell rang loudly, the sign of the next class will begin shortly. I whined again as i lazily move my ass to my class which located next door.

"I'll go back first, Minnie~ don't miss me, okay?" i said jokingly and he gives me a disgusted look. But then he waves me goodbye and i replied his wave.

At first, i thought that i can never live without him.

"Yahh! I got this!"

I yelled in excitement as i succeed to throw the ball inside the ring from far away. Both teams from the school were competed in a practice competition and surprisingly the team i was in is doing really well. We easily won against the other team.

"Whooo~"

The rest of my team members are hugging me in excitement. They looked as happy as i am although this is not an official competition.

"You're doing so great! Hyunjin-ah! With this skill, you can easily get promoted to become the team captain!"

Bangchan, a senior who was one year older than i am, circling his arm around me. We're now sitting on the bleachers , chillin ourselves and drink some refreshment which were prepared by the current team captain.

"Nah- you're too much, hyung~ you have a great skill too! If i'm getting the captain position, i'll definitely take you as my right hand!" i said and both of us are laughing.

"Yo! Good job Hyunjin! Can't believe that our new member is doing really well! You must have master Basketball before you enter the team, didn't you??"

Another team members, Felix and Changbin come to sit with us. I shrugged off while gulping my drink "not really- but i played basketball a lot with my dad"

"It's been awhile since a great player joined our team, the new players who had joined were all sucks! They always lead our team to defeat! But you- you're something man! Thank you for joining our team!" Changbin says happily as he offers his hand for a high five. I high fived him along with Felix and Bangchan.

"Good job boys~"

Suddenly a group of female cheerleaders are coming towards us. They smiling brightly at us and offer us some towels and more drinks.

"Hwang Hyunjin! I heard you're a new member?? You played like a pro!" one of the cheerleader praises me. I only smiles at her "thank you" i replied.

"By the way- " the cheerleader offers her hand to me "my name is Kim Taeyeon! I'm the cheerleader captain~ nice to meet you Hwang Hyunjin" she smiles widely.

I take her hand and do the handshake "nice to meet you too, umm.. captain?"

"You can call me noona since i'm on the same grade as Bangchan" she giggles and i nodded at that.

Then the cheerleaders are sitting infront of us, sometimes turning to us and have a chit chat. All of them are surely beautiful, good looks, good body, nice features..

"Hey! How about all of us go and eat together after this?? For the new member and for your win~" Taeyeon suddenly says and most of them are agreeing , including Bangchan, Changbin and Felix.

"How about you, Hyunjinie? Can you come?"

"Umm.." i looked at my phone, it's night time already and Seungmin's message was popped out in the display. It turns out that Seungmin was spending his time in the library while waiting for me to finished my practice.

"Hyunjin?"

I scratched my head "actually- my friend was waiting for me and-"

"He'll come!"

Felix suddenly shouts out of nowhere, making us looked at him. Felix suddenly circles his arm around me and gives them a wide smile "Hyunjin is definitely come with us, it's your celebration okay??"

"Then it's great! We'll take our stuffs and we'll meet you on the front gate" Taeyeon and the rest of her teams then leave us to take their stuffs.

"Then i will too" Bangchan also take his leave , going to the male locker.

"Felix! What did you say?? I can't come with you guys! Minnie was waiting for me!" i protested and he suddenly glares at me.

"Hyunjin, i warned you. You shouldn't get too close with him" Felix says coldly.

"What the hell-"

"At least!" he sighed "you don't know people has been gosipping around you?? People starting to think that you both are couple! It's disgusting!"

I furrowed my brows "why is it disgusting?? I didn't do wrong, Minnie was my best friend and it's normal for us to be together!"

Felix rolled his eyes "relationship between two males are disgusting, Hyunjin. We, especially you have to date a girl. Don't you know you're popular? What will happen to your reputation if people know you're a g- "

"Wait- i'm ? Popular?" i cut his words before he got to continue.

"Hyunjin, you..seriously" he scratches his own head "you spent too much time with him and you don't even aware of your surroundings, you even has a fanclub!" he says.

"I never know that.." i mumbles.

"And since you're popular, you'll ruin our team's name if you got some scandals with him, it'll be hard for all of us" he continues.

I deeply sighed before i give him a little nod. But i'm feeling uncomfortable. With this surroudings..with this people..
So much different when i'm with Seungmin.

Ah..it makes me miss him.. But how can i refuse this people??

I texted an apology message to Seungmin for letting him wait for me but at the end i can't go home with him. I'm feeling so guilty and uneasy, but it's a relief that Seungmin told me that his brother will pick him up. At least he won't get home by his own.

But.. Why did people dislike our relationship?
