In anger I decided to say yes to the  marriage, everyone was so happy from my this decision but I still have a hope that manik will stop this marriage.....

I invited manik for cocktail party with pihu, I knew that he will deny for it so I told him that it's okay if he can't see me with another guy and as expected it hurt his ego and he decided to come here, I was so happy to meet pihu so she was

"Hello manik meet aryaman my would be husband and arya he is manik pihu's father " They shake hands formally and then party started, aryman and me dance on romantic number which irked manik he excused himself and went upstairs, taking it as an opportunity I also went upstairs to meet him....

"What are you doing here manik?? Don't tell me you still have some feelings for me... " I asked him

"Why the hell are you doing it nandini?? Yes I still have same feelings for you but can't marry you,
Don't you know my parents.... "He said painfully remembering about his past

"Just because your parents didn't have happy marriage life that doesn't mean that you will push me away from your life manik please stop this marriage please " I begged him for our happiness....

On getting no response from him I Hugged him tightly, crying my heart out, he cupped my cheeks and kiss my forehead....

" Pumpkin, I am sorry but I can't give you a happy life because I am broken from inside please forgive me.... " He was about to go but I hugged him from back...

It was my engagement day I was least interested in it, I was just waiting for manik, mukti di asked me to come down, I asked her to give me five minutes, I was about to go down but I got the call from manik he was crying badly, I tried to know the reason after great difficulty he said 'city hospital '

Without thinking anything I ran towards city hospital, on reaching there I saw him who was crying badly I take him in my arms and patted his back to calm him down,

"Pihu..., accident..... "

That's when doctor came out and asked manik to give his blood because pihu needed it, he denied by saying that he can't give his blood but he will arrange it soon.....

" What kind of father are you manik?? Your daughter needs you and you can't even give your blood to her?? "
I shouted at him

" I am not her biological  father she is dhruv's daughter " He shouted in the same tone....

After an hour doctor informed us that pihu is out of danger she will gain conscious soon,we can meet her soon when she will get shifted in the ward,we thank him

" Yes it's true that alya use to love me but I never accepted her proposal because I was with you and I always treated her as a friend, when you left me I was so lonely, one day alya came and informed me that she is pregnant, we decided to talk to dhruv but he deny to accept his child, alya wanted to abort it but it was too late she was 5 month pregnant

so on finding no other way she decided to keep her baby and I always supported her as a friend, two years ago she died in a car accident and I take the responsibility of pihu and gave her my surname, it's true that I never believe in marriages but in my life there was no one before you and no one will come after you as well "

While telling me all this he was crying badly and I take him in my arms trying to make him calm by kissing his forehead. ..

That's when my family came with aryaman, thank god they didn't saw us in that condition...

" I am really sorry aryaman, pihu... " I was about to explain it to aryaman but he kept his finger on my lips...

" No need to explain anything to me, for me your happiness matters the most " Aryaman told me his true feelings...

" But because of me our engagement... "

"Well I am here and you are with me that's matters the most " Saying this he bent down on his knees sliding down the ring on my ring finger, everyone claps for us...

That's when a nurse came out saying that pihu got conscious and I rushed inside the room to meet her......

It's been a week, I use to stay with pihu after that incident and on aryaman's request my family allowed  me to stay with her.....

Me and pihu developed a great bond during this  time, we started enjoying each other's company , one day manik came back to home being drunk.....

"Oh God manik do you have any idea about your condition?? What if pihu saw you in this state?? " I scold him while  giving him support to stand properly....

" I need you pumpkin in my life pihu needs you, please be her mother, please accept us... " His this statement made me shocked....

" Do you have any idea what  are you talking about?? " I asked him trying to control my emotions....

We both lost our balance and  fallen down on the couch, he was lying above me before I could push him, he placed his rough lips on mine kissing me madly pouring all his feeling in that kiss, I tried hard to push him but I lost myself in his touch, after 5 years our lips were touching, our soul got mingled again and my eyes became teary feeling him so close to me.....
