Prologue
Willow woke up to the typical morning, mom was gone and she was safe inside of her little ice house she and her mom had built. When about an hour passed she got worried because her mom always came back before an hour. So she went outside to look around and saw a terrible sight her mom was there, but not alive and with nothing except blood all around her and no tail. Willow was horror struck. Her dad had died protecting her and her mom, but now she didn't have a mom and she would not live if she stayed where she was because once predators got a sniff of blood they would be here in an instant to feast. Willow thought that it would be so unkind to leave her mother's body but it was all she could do to prevent from joining her.
When Willow had traveled for at least two hours away from home she stopped for the night to rest in an abandoned ice home that had once belonged to a seal. When she got inside of the tiny little house she went down the passage way that all the houses have to help burrow deeper into the ice, she ate her fill of a week old pile of fish. She finished eating when she heard this rumbling sound and as it grew louder she heard many heavy feet belonging to none other than the amzing polar bears. Great she thought I am going to die and then she thought to go down a narrower passage way that led into this big underground ice cave, which led to the edge of the water and it had beutiful iceicles hanging from the cieling. Then she heard the digging of the polar bears and she dove into the freezing cold water. When she first got into the water she thought it was freezing but a few seconds passed and she got warmer as time passed. She heard the digging stop and thought she was safe, then a paw flashed in and out of the water and had succesfully scrathed her.
She woke up on the "beach of ice" but still felt tired from her sprinted swim from the Ice cave to shore within 10 minnutes.
