Amanda woke up panting "princess!" Espio grabbed her hand. "Easy amanda. Shes safe. No one will get even close." He assured. Amanda smiled. "Espio! Im glad your here." She always had a crush in the cool chameleon, skylora always said ask him out but she never did due to nerves. " where am i?" She asked. "The base of the resistance against eggman." "Who?" "Robotnik has an egg shape." "Oooohhhh. Yea he kinda does." She hadn't noticed this till just now. "Nicole, the city AI is guarding the princess." Amanda nods. "I failed as a retainer." She said recalling the fight with the metal hedgehogs "you did fine. They are strong enemies. If you want i can train with you." He offered. "Id love that."

Nicole walks in to check on the princess. "She seems to be sleeping peacefully. I just hope sally's optimism is accurate." Cream walks up beside her. "It is miss nicole. Come help me change her bandages." Cream removes the old ones as nicole has her nano bots make new ones proving this form of replacement is sterile her wounds healing nicely.

Amanda walks out with espio as sonic stands in front of Skylora's home. "Got a girlfriend finally espio?" The hedhog teased making espio blush. "Th-that is none of your concern." He tries to play cool. Amanda scoffs. "At least he's not being chased by a girl with a hammer. She claims pointing at a charging amy. "Oh crud why now?!" "SOOOOONNNNNIIIIICCC!" she runs up angrily. "Why are you standing near the wolf girls house?" She said. "Im on guard duty. Shes still healing." She groans. "Fiiiine." Amanda smiles as she sees how many mobians truly want to help. "I vow to become strong like them." She said to herself. "And to tell you how i feel....eventually." She continued looking at the dead pan espio.

Skylora wakes up with a yawn. Its late after noon now. "Its....hmm?" She walks outside to see everything on fire "n-no!! How did this happen?!" She wakes up panting with cream shaking her. "Miss Skylora you were having a nightmare." She looks at the child. "Thank you. It had only started when you woke me. Where's nicole?" The bunny smiles. "She's down stairs" karen reaches for her crutches noticing her leg and arm have less feeling in them than yesterday but thinks nothing of it. She makes her way down stairs the slight num feeling proving annoying. "Nicole. Something Is wrong?" She asks. "Nicole scans her as usual. "Not with me. Hold still." She does a deep scan. "I don't get it...." Skylora cocks her head. "Wait here princess." Nicole rushes out of the house. "How did we miss the nerve damage. How did we not see it was that bad?!" She rushes into doctor quacks office showing him her scan results. "This is bad nicole. At this rate there is a chance to save her limbs.....but its a stretch."  "I understand."  Skylora walks after her at a much slower pace. "Sally. Where did nicole go." She asks. "She went to see doctor quack. Apparently they missed some serious nerve damage on you." "I see. Well if i need surgery ill get it on one condition." Sally gave her a questioning look.

Elswhere. "Shes ALIVE?! Cant you bolt brains do anything?!" Silver sonic says nothing while being repaired as metal sonic replies: "she was not alone as first thought." "Fine. I've been working on Something for you anyway. As well as a new ally. They will rue the day they crossed doctor robotnik."
