Nandani was still on his lap while manik was caressing her hairs softly. Their was unknown peace on their face. Manik's other hand was in the hand of nandani. She was doodling I love you on his palm making manik smile.

Na: manik let's go out 

Nandani said it suddenly, sitting up from manik's lap. Manik was shocked by her sudden wish. He looked at the clock, it was shocking 11:20. But then the excitement on her face made him helpless.

Ma: let's go.

Manik said standing up making nandani jump on him out of excitement. He chuckled and took the car keys. Before leaving the house, they checked on rishab and found him sleeping. Locking the main door, they move out. Manik opened the passenger seat for nandani to which she sat inside and he himself seated on the passenger seat.

Ma: kaha chale ( starting the car)

Na: beach ( excited )

Ma: as you wish madam.

Manik drove the car to the beach. Nandani was looking out, seeing the isolated road decorated with tress on the side. She slided the car window down, let the coor air come inside. It was a windy night.

Na: it seems it's gonna rain. ( looking out)

Ma: yeah, ( smiling at her but again looking back to road)

Na: manik stop ( shouting)

Manik became shocked abd stopped the car. Nandani immediately ran outside following a worried manik.

Ma: Kya hua nandu ( shocked and concern)

Na: manik see ( pointing at the road side, on the footpath)

Manik followed her finger and found a girl lying in the pool of blood.

Na: manik let's take her to the hospital

Ma: yeah.

Manik picked her up and carefully placed her on the back seat. Nandani sat with her on the back and manik drove to the hospital.

Reaching the hospital, they called the doctor who took the girl to emergency room. After few minutes, a ward boy came and give them the girl belonging and her phone which was in her pocket.

Nandani saw many miscall on her phone from the same number. Manik asked her to call on that number and inform about the girl. Nandani called and in first ring only the other person pick the call. It was voice of a man. She informed him about the girl and told him the name of the hospital and told him that they are waiting in front of the emergency room and the man hanged up the called telling that he is coming.

Ma: what did he say?

Na: he is coming.

Ma: ( nodding) let's sit here.

Nandani nodded and sat with manik. Her gaze was on the ER only and so was manik. When they heard some one screaming through the corridor. Turning his gaze they found a man running to him. That man came near to him and manik was surprised too see him.

Ma: harshad ( suprised )

Har: manik ( equally suprised) you called me..

Na: is it your phone number ( showing the girl phone)

Har: yeah it's mine. ND it's Suman's phone. Where is she!?

Ma: she is in the ER. Doctor are checking her.

Harshad broke into tears. Manik put his hand on his shoulder.

Ma: she is gonna be fine harshad.

Har: but how did it happen ( teary eyes)

Na: we don't know, we were just going towards the beach when we saw her lying on the road side.

Har: I told her not to go out this time but she never listened to me ( crying)

Ma: it's okay, she is gonna fine.

Manik was trying to console him but he himself know it's impossible for him to be strong at moment. The doctor came out of the ER. Seeing this, all three rushed to him

Har: doctor how's she!? ( worried)

Doc: she is out of danger. These two ( pointing at manan) brought her at the correct time or else we would have lost her.

Har: ( relieved) can I meet her.

Doc: yeah, but after few minutes till we shift her to the personal ward. Till then you fill the form at the reception.

Har: okay. I will go.

Ma: I'm coming with you ( to nandani) just stay here ( cupping her face to which she nodded)

Harshad and manik went towards the reception area.

Har: thank you manik, thank you for saving my love. I can't thank you enough. ( holding hands in front of him)

Ma: harshad, it's my duty. You don't need to thank me ( giving him w brotherly hug) do one think you go back to her, I will fill the form.

Har: no it's okay.

Ma: harshad I will check on it, it will take time. While your girlfriend need you.

Har: okay.

Ma: what's her name!?

Har: Suman tyagi. ( taking out her wallet and taking a Id card) it's her pan card.

Ma: ( taking it) okay. Now you go.

Manik went to reception area. While harshad went back. Nandani was standing their.

Har: thank you. If their would anyone else then their are chances that they would have left her their only.

Na: harshad it's our duty. And relax she is fine.

Har: ( nodding) if I'm not wrong then you are nandani na? Manik's girlfriend.

Na: yeah. How do you know?

Har: Aryaman told me.

Na: okay.

By then doctor came their and told them that suman has shifted to room and they can meet her. Harshad ran to the room followed by nandani. He went inside and sat beside her on a stool, holding her hand. Nandani stayed outside to give them privacy.

After few minutes, manik came back. But didn't saw nandani and harshad their. So he called nandani and asked where she is. Nandani told him the room number and manik went their. Reaching their he saw nandani sitting outside on the bench, he sat beside her.

Ma: harshad andar h?

Na: ( nodded) tumhara band Ka new member harshad h?

Ma: ha, keyboard player.

Na: he seem nice.

Ma: yeah. He seems genuine.

Na: but he was the part of FAB 5!?

Ma: yeah, but he left the band. He said that he was not getting respect their and I second him. He is a nice person and FAB 5 would have tried to do something wrong.

Na: yeah.

Harshad came out suddenly. He have a smile on his face.

Ma: Kya hua? ( standing up and asking to harshad)

Har: suman ko hosh aa gya.

Na: I will call the doctor.

Har: okay.

Harshad went inside with manik following him. Suman was fully awake. She smiled at harshad and then look confuseily at manik. Harshad understood her.

Har: suman, he is manik the band leader. He abd his girlfriend nandani saved you abd brought you here.

Su: thank you ( softly)

Ma: yarr now stop this thank you thing, we are friends harshad and it's my duty to save her. ND Suman no need for thank you. Just be better fast, we have to do the opening ceremony of our band. Right harshad.

Har: right. ( chuckling)

Suman too smile. Nandani entered inside with doctor. Doctor checked suman and asked her few question.

Doc: she is fine. But her head may hurt as she has a injury their but don't worry about that I will prescribe you some medicine and make sure you don't shout near her.

Har: okay thank you doctor.

Doc: it's my duty young man.

Dictate went out after prescribing some medicine. Harshad made suman sit as she wanted to.

Na: how are you feeling?

Su: better ( smiling)

Ma: I will get the medicine.

Har: I will also come.

Saying this manik and harshad went out.

Na: you need something Suman?

Su: water.

Nandani took a glass of water and made her drink.

Na: do you mind, if I ask you a question?

Su: why will I, go ahead?

Na: how did this happen!?

Su: I was returning back from grocery store. As it was a little late I didn't found any rickshaw, do I decided to walk to home. But suddenly a car came to me in a fast speed. Though I was walking on the footpath, the car hit me. And after that I didn't remember anything

Na: did you saw who was in the car!?

Su: no.

Na: it's okay, who so ever was, he will be found soon.

Su: umm I want to show you something but please don't tell this to harshad. ( hesitated)

Na: you can trust me.

Su: can you give me my phone.

Nandani nodded and handed her phone. She opened a personal message and showed to nandani. Nandani was shocked too see the message. It was written :

Stay away from my love or else you would be dead.

Su: I received this just before my accident.

Na: but who send this ( worried)

Su: I don't know.

Na: I think you should tell this to harshad.

Su: no. He is already worried and tensed and even he didn't wanted to bring me here and wanted to come alone to fine his sister.

Na: sister!?? Where is she!?

Su: don't know. Harshad dad's first wife has a daughter and son. But his dad left them and married his mom for money but they weren't happy. After few years when harshad was born his mom died due to some complications. ND few years back his father too died. But before that he told harshad about his deeds. He was guilty for what he did. After getting to know that, harshad was guilty. He try to find her sister. Even he donated all his property as he think because of this property only his sister and brother are away and we came here for their search. Even though he didn't know them but he felt a unknown connection seeing their pic.

Nandani felt weird listening to her. Her heart ached listening to suman, and when she said that his father is dead she felt like crying. Out of curiosity she asked her to show the picture of his sibling

Na: can I see their pic.

Su: yeah, why not. But it's not their recent pic, it's almost 10 - 12 years old.

Na: it's okay.

Suman showed her the pic and nandani was shocked seeing the pic. Manik and harshad entered the room. Nandani immediately looked at manik and went outside. Manik saw some tears in her eyes and followed her making harshad and suman confused.
