The twenty-three campers reached the top of the cliff, with Chris and the Producers being there first even though they were the last group to leave. Melody, Izzy, and Malakai stopped running and looked surprised to see Chris.

" How?" Melody and Izzy asked.

" He's the Devil, aight!" Malakai eyed Chris.

Chris smirked at the Devil comment but composed himself when he saw the cameras turned on and a Producer telling him they were now live.

" Hello, and welcome back to Total Drama Island! We left off with Killer Bass deciding who to jump first," Chris turns his gaze to Killer Bass.

" Killer Bass?" Malakai raised an eyebrow.

" That's our team," Melody responded.

" Ah! We are teammates?" Malakai asked.

" Yup!" Melody nodded.

" Sweet!" Malakai grinned, looking excited.

' I am thrilled I am on the same team as the beautiful Shelia.' Manitoba Smith internally speaks.

" Bridgette. Do you still want to go first?" Geoff asked.

Bridgette walks toward the edge of the cliff and looks down. " Oh, Wow!" She whistled." We are way up high," She nervously laughs.

" You got this, Bridgette!" Melody cheers.

" Are you sure this is safe?" Beth asked, looking at Killer Bass worryingly.

Owen turns his gaze to Screaming Gophers.

" Hey, don't sweat it, guys. I heard these shows always make the interns do the stunts first to ensure it's survivable. Since we are doing this stunt, that must mean it went well with the safety inspection," Owen smiled.

Chris overheard the conversation and hummed, remembering the safety inspection process.

" We need to do a test run," Chris turns his gaze to Chef Hatchet, who is wearing swimming clothing and a floatie around his waist.

" Do I look like an Intern?" Chef Hatchet asked, looking annoyed.

" No, but the ones we originally had are all in the hospital because of the previous test runs for the other challenges," Chris responded.

" Come on, Hatch! Just jump," Chris eggs on. " Or are you a big chicken?" He begins to mimic a chicken.

" I don't get paid enough for this," Chef Hatchet sighed in frustration. He puts on his goggles and jumps, miraculously surviving the test run, even though he almost got eaten by a shark.

" Well, he lived. That means this challenge is good to go!" Chris nodded. He put the challenge's name on his clipboard and walked away.

" So, who is going? Blondie here seems hesitant?" Eva asked, bringing Chris back to reality.

" You seem eager. Do you want to go first?" Melody asked while looking at Eva.

Eva turns her gaze to Melody.

" Are you challenging me?" Eva raised an eyebrow.

" We are in a challenge," Melody sarcastically responded.

Malakai snickered.

Eva opens her mouth to say something, but Bridgette cuts her off.

" No! No! It's okay. I'll go first. It's no big deal," Bridgette reassured. " It's only an insane cliff dive into a circle of angry sharks," She turns her gaze to the cliff's edge. " Well. Wish me luck!" She shouts and jumps.

" Go, Bridgette!" Melody cheers.

The Killer Bass walked to the edge and looked down, seeing Bridgette successfully landing in the safe zone.

"Woohoo!! Yay, Bridgette!" Melody cheered when she saw the splash.

" Wow! She's so cool!" Geoff watched Bridgette pop her head out of the water and wave at them.

Chris watched Bridgette get on the boat.

" That's a point for Killer Bass!" Chris turns his gaze to the Killer Bass.

" She did it!" Tyler shouts. " Yeah! Yeah! I'm next!" He turns around so that he can run and jump off the cliff.

The Killer Bass stepped to the side, not wanting Tyler to bump into them.

" Cowabunga!" Tyler screams and jumps off the cliff.

The Killer Bass walked back to the edge and looked down, seeing Tyler painfully fall onto one of the buoys.

" Aye! That got to hurt," Malakai winced.

Melody watched Tyler slide into the safe zone.

" At least Killer Bass has two points now," Melody nervously laughs.

After two successful dives, Geoff and Eva decided they would go next, with both successfully landing in the safe zone, giving Killer Bass four points.

Duncan turns his gaze to Malakai.

" Hey, New Kid! How about you jump?" Duncan asked.

Melody looks at Duncan with a raised eyebrow.

Malakai turns his gaze to Duncan.

" I'll jump if you jump with me," Malakai smirked.

Melody and Duncan looked at Malakai with identical surprised expressions.

" Is that even allowed?" Courtney asked.

Everyone turned their gaze to Chris since he was the host.

" Yeah. If both successfully land, that would be two points," Chris responded.

" So, what do you say?" Malakai looks at Duncan.

" Duncan," Melody looks at Duncan worryingly.

Duncan looks at Melody and Malakai.

" You are on!" Duncan motioned Malakai to the edge.

" You two, be careful!" Melody looks at Duncan and Malakai.

Malakai turns his gaze to Melody and winks at her.

" Don't worry, Shelia! I'll be fine. And I'll make sure your kid brother is safe too," Malakai wraps his arm around Duncan's arm, and he jumps, surprising Duncan.

" Shelia?" Melody's grey eyes blink, and she tilts her head adorably, looking confused.

" I'm the oldest!" Duncan's shouts become echoes as he and Malakai jump.

The Killer Bass walked to the edge and looked down, seeing Malakai and Duncan make it to the safe zone, giving the team six points.

" That's a relief! I'm glad they made it," Melody sighed. " Now, who wants to go next?" She turns her gaze to the rest of the Killer Bass.

Courtney, DJ, Harold, Katie, and Sadie looked at each other since they didn't know who was going next.

The awkward silence caused Melody to roll her grey eyes annoyingly.

" Fine! I'll go next," Melody turns around and jumps.

Duncan climbs up the boat with Geoff and Tyler helping him get on. He turns around and sees Malakai is still in the safe zone.

" Hey! Hurry up!" Duncan shouts.

Malakai noticed that Melody would land outside the safe zone where the sharks were circling around. He takes off his fedora hat and dives into the water.

' She's going to get hurt if I don't do anything,' Malakai internally speaks.

Malakai spots a rock underwater and throws it at a nearby shark. The shark growls and turns angrily. However, the shark squeaked when it saw Malakai looking at him murderously.

" Leave and come back once Mel and I are on the boat," Malakai commanded.

The shark motioned its buddies to Malakai, and they obliged, swimming away from him for a bit.

Malakai swims back to the safe zone and puts on his fedora hat, watching Melody fall outside.

" Oof! Our first fall outside the safe zone! You will still get the point if you get in the safe zone before the sharks eat you!" Chris shouts.

Melody opens her grey eyes underwater and blinks when she sees no sharks swimming by her.

" Shelia! Hurry up before they come back!" Malakai shouts, holding his hand into the water so Melody can grab it.

Melody grabs Malakai's hand, and she swims into the safe zone. She pokes her head out and smiles when she sees Malakai.

" Thank you," Melody lets go of Malakai's hand.

" You welcome, Shelia," Malakai nodded.

Melody swims past Malakai to the boat. She grabs Duncan's hand and climbs on.

Malakai watches Melody get on the boat, and he turns, seeing the sharks swimming back to their original spot.

Malakai looks away and swims towards the boat, grabbing Melody's hand and getting on.
