Overwhelmed by the show's excitement, Malakai's eyelids grew heavy. He couldn't fight the fatigue any longer and succumbed to sleep, his head finding a comfortable spot on top of Melody's on the couch in the living room.

Chris glanced at the monitor and saw the two teens asleep on the couch, the show playing in the background. He looked at social media and saw fans commenting that Malakai and Melody looked adorable.

He grabbed his cell phone and texted Chef Hatchet to make breakfast for Malakai and Melody so they could have something to eat when they woke up.

" I need a pick-me-up as well." He mutters and looks at the other monitors, seeing that only Courtney, Lindsay, Beth, Trent, Gwen, Eva, Justin, Cody, Duncan, Harold, and Heather are awake.

" I wonder how long this challenge will take," He yawns, rubbing his eyes. " Hey! Get me a Trenta Iced Caramel Machiatto with extra Caramel," he asks an intern.

The intern nodded and ran off to get Chris' coffee order.

Several hours later, it is morning. During that time, Courtney tries to move in place to stay awake constantly but eventually falls asleep. Lindsay and Beth fell asleep afterward.

Due to eating baked beans at the banquet, Owen is seen sleepwalking naked, falling off a thousand-foot cliff, and swimming upstream with fish, but is still asleep.

Trent and Gwen talk to each other to try to stay awake. Viewers saw a potential relationship begin to blossom, but most fandom ships Malakai and Melody.

The smell of bacon and sausages awakens Malakai and Melody from their slumber. They opened their eyes and saw that they fell asleep on the couch.

The two intently stared at one another. Melody internally found Malakai attractive with his messy bedhair. Meanwhile, Malakai thought Melody looked cute when she stared at him with a sleepy gaze.

Chris woke up from his nap to constant ringing from his cell phone. He checked social media and saw that the Viewers hoped Melody and Malakai would kiss. He looked at the monitor and saw that the two teens woke up but were looking at one another intently.

" Chef! Serve them breakfast," Chris pressed his hand on the earpiece.

"Mornin'!" Chef Hatchet greeted, surprising the two teens.

Melody and Malakai turned and saw Chef Hatchet dressed like a professional chef and standing near the counter. The two teens stood and blushed, embarrassed when they saw the cook.

" Chef!/Sgt!" They greeted.

" What are you doing here?" They asked.

" I made you two breakfast," Chef Hatchet points to the two plates filled with food on the counter.

The two teens' stomachs growled at the mention of breakfast. They looked at one another and smiled.

" What do we have to eat, Sgt?" Melody asked, running up to the kitchen and sitting at the counter, looking at the food in awe.

"Scrambled eggs. Bacon. Sausages. Chocolate chip pancakes. With a side of fruit and orange juice." Chef Hatchet responded, seeing Malakai sit beside Melody.

" Thank you for the food!" Melody grabs the fork and takes a bite.

" Thanks," Malakai nodded, grabbing the fork and taking a bite.

Chef Hatchet nodded, watching them eat their breakfast. He grabbed a pitcher and poured orange juice into the two glass cups before the teens so they wouldn't choke.

The trio looked at the small TV in the kitchen and saw that Gwen, Trent, and Eva were looking at Justin. Unlike the other contestants, Justin didn't have black bags under his eyes. He was breathing heavily and just standing there.

" It's obvious that he painted his eyes so he can sleep and let everyone think he's awake," Melody commented while sipping her orange juice.

" Chris better disqualifies him," Malakai shakes his head.

Chef Hatchet glanced at the camera. " Oh. He will."

" Oh. I will." Chris leaves his trailer and approaches the contestants, surprising them.

" Yeah. Justin is sleeping. Hey, Buddy. Wake up! I have disqualified you from this challenge. Whoever loses this game will be in the elimination round with you," Chris says, waking Justin up from his slumber.

Justin pouted, and he fell asleep against a tree.

" Game resume," Chris looks at the remaining contestants and walks away.

A few hours later, Cody falls asleep, and Duncan passes the time by getting Harold to wet himself by putting his hand in warm water. Duncan is ecstatic when he realizes that the old trick works. Noah wakes up to find himself cuddling Cody and kissing his ear, much to his and Cody's horror. Finally, Chris decides to let the campers who have already fallen asleep go and take a shower.

" Speaking of taking a shower. I need to have one." Melody leaves the living room and goes to the bathroom to take a warm shower.

Malakai and Chef continue watching and see that Duncan, Gwen, Heather, Eva, and Trent are the only ones still awake.

" I wonder what Chris is going to do to have all of them fall asleep?" Malakai asked himself, but Hatchet heard him.

Chris hummed and decided that his last resort was reading the history of Canada in pop-up book form.

Melody showered and changed into comfortable clothing. She joined Malakai on the couch and sat down. She instinctively hugs his arm, which she does with her brother, Duncan, when they watch TV back home.

Malakai felt his arm getting hugged and blushed, causing Viewers to fangirl/fanboy over his reaction to Melody hugging his arm.

Chris started reading the history of Canada via the intercom, causing the remaining contestants to hear his voice.

" Damn. Hearing Chris read the history of Canada will bore me to death," Melody mutters.

" Here. Here," Malakai nodded.

Hearing Chris reading the history of Canada was so dull that it put Eva and Heather to sleep immediately, and, soon after that, Trent as well, to Gwen's dismay.

" Wait. Is Gwen the winner?" Melody asked, looking at the screen curiously.

" No. Your brother is still awake," Malakai pointed.

Melody looked surprised that her older brother had been awake this whole time. She saw Duncan getting uncomfortable and doing the potty dance.

" With Chris reading, my brother is going to get insane." She looked concerned.

After the first chapter, Chris gives Gwen and Duncan a bathroom break. Duncan tries to hold it but gives in when Gwen challenges him to have it for another ten chapters of the book.

Melody amusingly shook her head when she saw Duncan running towards the stalls. Malakai snickered when he saw Duncan fall asleep in the stall with his pants down.

" Ugh. Gross." Melody hid her face against Malakai's shoulder since she didn't want to see Duncan's private parts.

Malakai amusingly chuckled and gently petted Melody's head, causing Viewers to screenshot the scene and talk about it on social media.

Gwen tries to keep it together but is awakened when she hears Chris announce that she is the official winner of the Awake-A-Thon, saving her from elimination.
