Recap : Nandini cried for not having parents like others....Raj, Nyonika and Sharmila left for relatives wedding!

"Ammu....Ammu...See here..I am here only....here...here..."

Hearing this voice Nandini slowly opened her eyes. But she can't see anything.

Surroundings are fully covered in black....In the centre of darkness there is a light which is blurred. Nandini keenly looked at the light. When the light became clear....Nandini's body shivered and called "Maa"

Once she called the light vanished and Nandini shouted "Maa!"

"Nandini! Nandini"

Hearing someone calling her Nandini mumbled in her sleep "Maa! Maa!"

But she didn't get up...

"Nandu...Nandu..."

Saying this Manik patted her cheek.

Her cheek was warm...

Manik panicked and touched her forehead with the back of the palm...

Nandini is burning in fever.

Manik thought to wake up Kalyani. But she is sleeping peacefully because of the tablets.

Manik bought a wet cloth and kept it in her forehead. After some time....the fever somewhat reduced..

Immediately he called Sonakshi and asked her to bring her father.

Nandini continued to whisper "Maa! Papa!" in her sleep.

Manik again called " Nandu? Nandu?"

"Mom! Don't go Mom!"

Nandini's voice shivered while saying this....

Manik went and sat near her, took her hands in his hold and pressed it like giving assurance that he is there.

Nandini's eyes are closed.

Manik with his other hand cleared Nandini's hair on her face. His heart felt heavy when he heard his whisperings.

Manik was drowned in his thoughts when Rajeev and Sonakshi arrived...

Rajeev went to examine Nandini, while Manik glared Sonakshi.

Sona : "Hey Manik! Now why are you glaring me?"

Manik angrily : "Hey Sona! Where did you took Nandini today? She is blabbering something! What happened in birthday party today? Do you left her alone somewhere?"

Sona : "Manik! She was with me only. I didn't leave her alone anywhere...Okay now tell me what is the connection between the party and her fever?....Why are you glaring me?"

Irritated with their fights Rajeev shouted

Rajeev : "You are disturbing Nandini...If you both want to fight...go and do it outside of the room"

Manik and Sonakshi went out of the room quietly...

Manik calmly : "Sona! She is blabbering somewhat saying Maa and Papa. She didn't did like this in any of these years. What happened in the party?"

Hearing this Sonakshi worriedly looked at Manik.

Sona : "I thought that she would have forgotten it there itself!....It seems she didn't forget it till now"

Manik : "What Sona? What are you saying?"

Manik confusingly asked while Sonakshi told that all the friends in the party discussed about their families and Nandini's tears...

Manik's heart felt heavy....He could not even imagine what Nandini would have experienced in that situation! But now after hearing Nandini's blabbering now....his heart felt the same pain and he silently sat on the floor itself with tears in his eyes

Sonakshi too sat beside him. His sadness suddenly turned into anger.

Manik angrily : "You people will talk all these things by keeping her right?......You should have got her home immediately once she cried..."

Sona : "No Manik...She was happy after that....That's why we stayed back and came to home after the party finishes"

Manik angrily : "Was she really happy? You are with her for so many years...But you still can't find that where she was faking her happiness.....Why you would have noticed that? You will only think about the food and the cake kept there....Foodie"

Sona with tears in her eyes : "What Manik? Why are you talking like this? I will eat less only....You will also tell right that if I eat like this my health will be spoiled....You will only tell me to eat well right? Now what happened to you? You are not like before Manik....You changed very much....Before you will not scold me at all....Now you are scolding me...."

Hearing Sona, Maniks' anger reduced.

Manik : "No Sona....Okay I am sorry.....After I saw her like that.....I felt shivering all over my body......Seeing her worried makes me worried too....That's why I told you all those things"

Sona with a small smile : "I can understand Manik.....I can understand how much you are loving Nandini"

Manik whinned with a small smile : "You understood. But how will she understand?"

Sona : "Make her understand"

Manik : "How?"

Sona : "Till now, we all thought that she is happy and relieved of any worries....But now we came to know that she still yearns for her parents love...but she didn't express it to anyone.... Now you got a good chance Manik to create a good impression of yours in Nandini..You have to find her parents"

Manik : "Hey Sona! They are dead right?"

Sona : "No...Only her mother died...But her father is alive"

Manik is shocked with the new found information.

Manik : "What Sona are you saying?" Is Nandini's father alive?...Who told you?"

Sona : "I came to know..One day I overheard the conversation of Mom and Dad... I even asked Mom about this....But she didn't answer me properly and avoided the talk saying "Why you want to know? Mind your own business"

Manik : "Why you didn't tell me before itself...?"

Sona : "I had a doubt Manik. Then how could I tell you? ......Even now I am having doubt...You enquire about Nandini's father to my Dad....He will answer you properly"

Manik is drowned in thoughts when Rajeev came out of the room!

Manik went near Rajeev

Manik : "Mamu! What happened to Nandini? Can we take her to hospital?"

Rajeev : "Hey Manik! If you want to take her to hospital, then why did you called me?"

Manik : "Mamu....I told about your hospital only...If the fever is high, we can take her there right? We have all the facilities there"

Hearing this Rajeev looked at Manik surprisingly.

Manik : "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Rajeev : "The fear which your eyes expressing is not right Manik!"

Manik : "What? What are you saying Mamu?"

Rajeev : "No Manik. It's just normal fever. Why are you so much scared like this? You are talking about hospital facilities and all....I am doubting whether you are responsible for her fever?"

Manik : "Mamu! Really do you studied and became doctor? Or did you do any forgery and got a certificate? You are doubting me for her fever?"

Rajeev with self respect : "Hey Manik! Who you mentioned as forged doctor. I studied day and night to become a doctor. What are you thinking of yourself? I am talking to you like a friend right. That's my mistake. Go away. I won't talk to you"

Manik holding his hand : "Mamu ! Don't get angry Mamu please....Whatever it is , we can speak and solve it . First you sit here"

Saying this he made him sit on the sofa.

Manik : "Mamu ? Do you want something to drink?"

Rajeev : "No..I don't want anything...I am noticing many changes in you Manik. What's the matter?"

Manik : "Nothing like that Mamu....Nandini has fever suddenly..Mom and Dad are not at home..So only..."

Rajeev : "Okay you are saying. And I have to believe... Now tell me what do you want now?...Nandini has normal fever only. No need to panic.. I injected her...If she takes some good rest, she will be alright"

Manik : "I know Mamu! Nandini will soon recover because of your best treatment" 😂😂😂

Rajeev gave an unbelievable look to Manik.

Rajeev chuckled : "Hmmm . Then? Anything left?"

Manik : "Yes Mamu"

Rajeev : "What?"

Manik : "Where is Nandini's father"

Rajeev : "Shhh..speak quietly...What if your dadi heard?"

Manik : "Dadi has taken the tablets. She will wake up only in the morning...You can talk. Tell me where is Nandini's father?"

Rajeev glared her daughter Sonakshi while she hung her head down in guilt

Sona : "Sorry Dad!..I only told him...If Nandini's father is alive...then why she have to live here like she has nobody..like an orphan?"

Rajeev : "Don't tell her orphan dear....She has a whole family here...If something happens to her there are lot of people to worry about her"

Sona : "What you are saying is correct dad. She has Nani, Mamu, Bua, You, Mom, Me , Bhai and Manik....But they are not her blood relations dad....She has her own father....Then why can't we unite Nandini with her father?"

Hearing Sonakshi, Rajeev thought for a while.

Rajeev : "Why suddenly you are asking about her father? Did Nandini told you anything? Did Nandini worried thinking she is an orphan?"

Sona : "No Dad. She didn't tell anything.....But.."

Sonakshi and Manik said all the happenings in the party to Rajeev.

Again Rajeev drowned in thoughts

Manik : "Mamu..Please...Tell us...Who is Nandini's father? Where is he? Why you all separated Nandini from her father? We can unite Nandini to her father..."

Rajeev : "That...that...regarding this matter, I will talk to Raj....We will do what he say....Your Dadi should not come to know about Nandini's father in anyway"

Manik : "Why?....What Dadi will tell? Infact she will be very happy"

Rajeev : "Manik....I am not in the situation to tell you something...Please wait till your parents come...We should not do anything in haste...."

Sonakshi looked at Manik. Manik nodded and closed his eyes shedding some tears....

After Sonakshi and Rajeev, Manik went to Nandini's room....

Nandini without any blabberings is sleeping peacefully now..

Manik came and sat near Nandini. He looked at Nandini's face. Her face has dried marks of tears..

Manik took her fingers in his hold

Manik : "Nandu...I am extremely sorry Nandu....I can't find out that you are still yearning for your parent's love"

Manik's Conscience : "How do you know? If you was friendly with her, she would have shared it with you...But instead of that..you always threaten her and scare her"

Manik : "Okay leave me. But Sonakshi is a sister more than a friend to Nandini right? She could have shared with her"

Manik's conscience : "Do you have any sense? She even didn't know her father is alive. What is the use of sharing her problem with both of you?....She is still thinking that her parents are died and she is orphan....She might have thought that keeping in her heart is best instead of sharing"

Manik irritated : "Hey what you want to say now?"

Manik's conscience : "Before Nandini opens her eyes, leave the room"

Manik : "Why?...Why?...she is my lover...Why are you feeling jealous?"

Manik's conscience : "Hey fool ! I am not feeling jealous. I am only concerned about you. When Nandini opens her eyes...when she see you sitting closely like this and holding her hands, she will again get fever. That's why I am saying you to leave the room"

Manik with a small smile looked at Nandini. He lifted her hand which is in his hold and pressed his lips on it.

Manik in mind : "Nandu...what happened is happened....I am there for you hereafter....It's my responsibility to clear your yearnings for your parents love....I will definitely see your father...and will unite you with him.....I will ask from him your hand for marriage....That day is not so far......"

Saying this he placed her hand on bed and left her room....
