Y/n pov:
The chirping of the birds and the sound of the flapping winds makes me turn around, The bright light of the sun hits on my face making me open my eyes "I'm alive" I say to myself As I got up from the bed

As I got myself ready for the day, I took the piece of bread and jam and started spreading on it
As I was spreading the jam on the bread, it makes me remember my old days back when I had my mom and brother here

Flashback:
"Y/n get up you are going to be late for school," my mom says yelling at me
I could still hear her while I'm sleeping, I must be dreaming

I didn't open my eyes, and continued to sleep "Listen are you going to wake up or not before mom comes here and takes your mobile" my brother says shaking me

"Can you go away please, I want to sleep?" I say pushing him away
"It's 7:45," He says while stepping away

"WHAT" I screamed at myself, how can I sleep this much, I quickly went to the washroom and washed my face

Coming back, I changed into my uniform and quickly took my bag, as I was about to leave suddenly my mom calls my name making me turn around "Y/n where are you going this time, it's 5:45" my mom asks from me in a serious tone

"What" I was speechless, did that brat just made a fool of myself "I'm gonna kill your son today," I say tossing my bag on the ground and went inside

"Why did you lie to me," I say getting  closer to him with a cushion in my hand
"Sis I was bored," He says running away from me

"Come here you little brat, you are dead meat today," I say screaming back at him

"Both of you shut up and come here to eat breakfast," my mom says looking at both of us with a mad expression all over her face

"Sorry mom, she is annoying I just did that because you wanted her to wake up," mingyu says with a smirk

"Oh really," I ask in a mocking tone
"Shut up," the menu says signalling me to quiet
"Your mouth" I reply m while tilting my head

"Breakfast is ready, come to the table," mom says As she goes and sits in front of the table
"My favourite jam," mingyu says taking the jam in his hands

I just ignored him and started eating the breakfast "your father always used to say this to me because I was also just like you" she says with a laugh

"The first step to winning yourself is to wake up early," my mom says looking down

"Mom don't be sad or I will also be sad, you can't be sad when your handsome son is here," mingyu says hugging mom
"You both are all I need," my mom says looking at both of us with tears in her eyes

Flashback ends
Recalling the memories of the past sometimes makes me cry somehow, I just remember hugging my dad when I was seven maybe, after that he got hospitalised and never came back home
It was just me, my brother and mom but they also left me like my father, maybe I don't deserve to have a family after all

Finishing my breakfast, I opened my phone and it was still "6:15" maybe drinking a coffee wouldn't be a bad choice

Skip time:
Reaching in front of the coffee shop, this will always be my favourite coffee shop ever
As I enter a coffee shop blanket of warm air hits me and the rich aroma of coffee which was delectable, students were sitting with their friends and reading their books, the environment here is something else

The barista comes near me with a welcoming smile "what would you like mam" "as usual one Iced Caramel Macchiato" I say to the barista

"Mam your drink," He says handing me my drink in a glass tumbler with a straw in it "
"Here take the money," I say giving it to him while taking a sip of my coffee

"Enjoy your day mam," He says bowing " you too, and it's delicious" and with that, I left from there

One of the main reasons I liked going to the office was because it was near my house, so I didn't have to pay for a taxi
Maybe dad wasn't wrong after all waking up early might give you a lot of advantages

I could never understand how can someone sleep so early for waking up early in the morning. As I got older, I began to sleep later, and it became harder to wake up early, it became a habit of mine

I tilted my head and looked around, everything is looking so beautiful today,
Maybe I should go office now today as my goal is not to make jungkook angry at me

After walking for 10 minutes, I entered the office and greeted lilac whose sitting at the receptionist
"You are very early today," she asks being confused

"Yes I'm any problem with that," I say with a laugh
"No no why would I have a problem with that, glad to know that you are early, here sign on this," she says while handing me the attendance paper

"Done," I say giving her back by doing my signature
I took the small card out from my wallet and showed it to her "Are you still showing me your identity card, get back in your senses it's been almost 3 years of you working here and I know you a lot" she says looking at me with an unhappy look

"I'm no special person here, treat me like how everyone is treated here or you already know that our boss might kill me," I say as I put my identity card
in my wallet

"You never know Y/n," she says yawning
"Okay gotta go now," I say waving at her

Skip time:
I was sitting at my desk getting bored, I can't do any work unless jungkook orders me to
I looked at the other side of my desk which was namjoon
It was empty, "am I that much early today?" I think to myself while getting up from my chair

"Maybe I should take a look at our office" I'm quite surprised at myself like how can a person like me who used to always be late is the first one to come here today
"Y/n I didn't expect you to be here" but maybe I'm wrong

As I turned around I saw namjoon looking at me with wide eyes
"I'm not dreaming right," He says rubbing his eyes
"No, you aren't," I say smacking his arm playfully

"How come a person like you be so early today," He says raising his eyebrows
"You can't expect the person to do the same thing over and over again, sometimes it takes some to change," I say being amused by his reply

"Oh that's deep," namjoon says while giggling
"Anyways boss Is not here today," He asks in a cautionary tone
"Oh yeah I wonder too," I say while tilting my head

"I assume if you are in the office, you work and not wander here and there chatting with each other" we both turn around to see jungkook standing with a furious expression all over his face

What happened now? "Oh sir we didn't saw you coming," namjoon says faking his smile

"Go and start working next time I see you both together talking with each other, you both will be fired got that," jungkook says in a demanding tone

We both just nodded our heads at his reply, as I was about to leave with namjoon suddenly jungkook holds my wrists unexpectedly making me turn back

"Y/n come in my cabin, we have something important to talk about"

"What is it, sir?" I ask narrowing my eyes
"Hello sir are you here," I say waving in front of him, seems like he is lost in his world now

"I'm gonna leave now, I have to start the work now" As I was about to leave he again holds my wrist making me roll my eyes

Jungkook leans in forward to me "believe me when I say it's really important, meet me in my cabin see you soon" He says winking at me and with that, he leaves making me standing there dumbfounded trying to process what just happened.
