Suddenly, the door opens, and Kabir enters

Kabir: (surprised) Richie Rich? Tum yahan?

Anuj snaps out of his thoughts and looks up. His calm yet sharp gaze lands on Kabir.

Anuj (surprised):- Same question. Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?

Kabir: (dramatically) Arre mat puch yaar! Mera boss Aryan hai. Unhonee mujhe kisi khadoos, akdu, silent-type aadmi ke personal assistant ki job pe laga diya! Bhagwaan ka shukar hai ki sirf do hafte ki baat hai.

Anuj leans back in the couch, folding his arms, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Anuj: (calmly) Accha… toh tumhare naye boss ke baare mein kya suna hai?

Kabir: (rolling his eyes) Mila toh nahi hoon, lekin mera dost aur Aryan sir bata rahe the ki wo...

Kabir starts ranting, listing all the bad things he’s heard about Anuj.

Kabir: Suna hai wo ekdum rude hai, kisi ko emotion dikhata hi nahi. Na smile karta hai, na baat karta hai. Khud ko pata nahi kya samajhta hai.

While Kabir continues, Anuj simply watches him with an amused expression, resting his chin on his hand. His eyes glint with mischief, but he doesn’t interrupt.

Kabir: Aur pata hai, uska ek rule hai – koi bhi uske cabin mein bina permission ke nahi aa sakta. Lekin mujhe toh farak nahi padta. Main toh apni marzi ka malik hoon!

Anuj suppresses a chuckle but doesn’t let it show. He leans forward slightly.

Kabir: (smirking) waise tum batao, yahan kya kar rahe ho? Don’t tell me tum us boss ke dost ho ya... tumhara kaam hai yahaan?

Anuj: (smiling ) Tumhe kya lagta hai?

Kabir shrugs, completely missing the hint.

Kabir: Jo bhi ho, yaar. Tum lucky ho ki us boss ke saath kaam nahi kar rahe. Mujhe toh bas do hafte bardaasht karna hai.

Anuj’s faint smile grows into a smirk as he stands up, adjusting his blazer.

Anuj: (calmly) Do hafte ke liye toh tumhe mujhe bardaasht karna padega, Kabir

Kabir freezes, the color draining from his face as realization dawns.

Kabir: (stammering) T-tum? Tum... boss?

Anuj gives a slight nod

Anuj: (smiles) Welcome to my office, Mr. Kabir.

Kabir slaps his forehead, muttering to himself.

Kabir: (whispering) Aryan sir, meina toh khud apne gale mein phanda dal diya!

Anuj chuckles softly and sits back, enjoying the stunned look on Kabir’s face.

Mishra walks in, carrying some documents. He notices Kabir’s pale face and Anuj’s smiling face make him suprised

Mishra: (confused) Sir... sab theek hai?”

Anuj smirk widening

Anuj: Haan, Mishra. Bas tumhare temporary replacement ka welcome ho raha hai.

Mishra: (looking at Kabir) Kabir? Tum theek ho?

Kabir slowly turns to Mishra, his voice a whisper.

Kabir: Mishra sir, yeh... yeh... mere boss hai?

Mishra blinks and nods.

Mishra: “Haan, Kabir. Yeh Mr. Anuj Kapadia hain... tumhare naye boss.

Kabir glares at Mishra.

Anuj chuckles, enjoying Kabir’s discomfort where mishra was confused why anuj is smiling?

Anuj: (teasingly) waise, Kabir, tum mujhe kaise describe kar rahe the? Khadoos, akdu, silent... aur kya tha?

Kabir looks like he wants to disappear into the ground.

Kabir: (scrambling) sir... woh... mazaak tha! Aap toh... bilkul alag lagte ho.

Anuj raises an eyebrow, pretending to think.

Anuj: accha? Toh main rude nahi lagta?

Kabir: (quickly) bilkul nahi, sir! Aap toh ekdum cool ho!

Anuj stands up and walks over to Kabir, patting him on the shoulder

Anuj: Chalo, tumhari bina wajha ki baatein maaf ki. Ab yeh batao, lunch mein kya khaoge?

Kabir looks stunned

Kabir: Sir... lunch?

Mishra: (shocked) Sir, aap... isse lunch pe le ja rahe hain?

Anuj smiles and nods

Anuj: haan, Mishra. Socha, apne naye assistant ke saath bonding ho jaye. Waise bhi, sunne mein aaya hai ki yeh apni marzi ka malik hai. Dekhta hoon lunch mein kya chunaav karega.”

Mishra shakes his head in disbelief while Kabir gulps, realizing there’s no escape.

Kabir: (hesitantly) sir, main toh... woh canteen se kuch le leta hoon.

Anuj gives him a pointed look.

Anuj: Nahi, tum mere saath lunch karoge. Aur jo main kha raha hoon, woh tum bhi khaoge. Aakhir boss ke choices samajhne bhi toh zaroori hain, hai na?

Kabir looks at Mishra helplessly, but Anuj just walks out of the cabin, gesturing for Kabir to follow

Anuj: (over his shoulder) Chalo, Kabir. Time to see how much tum mujhe ‘bardaasht’ kar sakte ho.

Kabir sighs dramatically and follows Anuj, muttering to himself.

Kabir: yeh do hafte mere liye jail jaise hone wale hain!

At home

Hasmukh, Leela,Vanraj, Anupama, and Kavya are sitting in the living room of the Shah house, chatting casually.

Suddenly, Mishra walks in looking a little uneasy.

Vanraj: (noticing) arey Mishra, tum yahan? Tumhari Thailand ki flight ki tayari ho gayi?

Mishra: (nodding) Ji sir, sab ready hai. Bas ek baat bataane aaya tha... jo thoda ajeeb hai.

The entire family exchanges curious glances.

Kavya: ajeeb? Kya baat hai, Mishra ji?

Mishra: (hesitating) Woh...Anuj sir ke baare mein hai.

At the mention of Anuj, Vanraj’s expression hardens, and Anupama stiffens slightly.

Vanraj: kya hua anuj ko?

Mishra: (awkwardly) Sir, mujhe lagta hai ki unka behavior thoda... alag hai.

Leela:- Alag? Kaise alag?

Mishra looks around, hesitating, but eventually speaks.

Mishra: mujhe lagta hai... anuj sir woh shaayad... ladkon mein interest rakhte hain

The room falls silent for a moment, everyone stunned by Mishra’s words.

Vanraj: (shocked) Kya? Tum kehna kya chahte ho, Mishra?

Mishra: Sir, aaj office mein ek ajeeb cheez dekhi maine. Anuj sir apne naye male assistant ke saath lunch pe ja rahe the. Woh unse baatein karte hue muskura rahe the, aur... unka behavior kaafi friendly lag raha tha.

Hasmukh: (sighs) mishra, friendly hona aur yeh baat kehna ki woh... ladkon mein interested hain, dono alag baatein hain.

Mishra: (defensive) Nahi, Bapuji! Maine kabhi Anuj sir ko aise behave karte nahi dekha. Lekin aaj unhone naye assistant ke liye khud lunch ka offer kiya, aur poore waqt unhe dekh kar muskura rahe the. Mujhe toh sach mein doubt ho raha hai.

Leela: (shocked) Hai Ram! Yeh din dekhna baaki tha! Anuj aur yeh sab?!

Anupama: (rolling her eyes) baa bas! Aap toh bina wajah baatein banane lagti hain.

Vanraj: Mishra, tumne kuch aur notice kiya?”

Mishra: sir, bas yeh ki unka naye assistant ke saath behavior ekdum different tha. Woh hamesha kaam ki baat karte hain, lekin aaj... aisa laga jaise woh apne assistant ko impress karne ki koshish kar rahe ho.

Anupama: (calmly) Mishra ji, humein bina kisi proof ke aise assumptions nahi karne chahiye. Ho sakta hai ki Anuj kisi wajah se apne assistant ke saath friendly ho raha ho.

Kavya: waise agar yeh sach hai toh... kaafi shocking hoga. Ek businessman like Anuj Kapadia aur aisi khabar? Wow.

Hasmukh: (sternly) “Bas karo, aur Mishra, bina kisi saboot ke aise afwaayein phelana galat hai. Tum dara rahe ho sabka, khaas kar vanraj ko wesa hi ye anuj ko lekar itna pareshan rehta hai

Mishra nods, but Vanraj doesn’t seem convinced.

Vanraj:  yeh Anuj kaafi kuch chhupa raha hai. Mujhe uspar nazar rakhni padegi.

Anupama sits silently, her thoughts racing. She knows Anuj better than anyone and feels there’s more to the story than what Mishra has observed

Anuj and Kabir where sitting in the car! Going somewhere

Kabir:- aap mujhe kaha le ja rahe hein...

Kabir eyes get widee

Kabir:- kahi aap mujheee nadi mein fhek toh nahi denga

Anuj bite his lower lip to hide his smile

Kabir:- (stammering) sir i am sorry so sorry pleasee mujhe nadi mein mat fhek aana mujhe swimming nahi aati or abhi tak meri na toh shaadi hui hai na hi suhagraat

Anuj laugh, make kabir stunned first time he is seeing anuj laughing

Kabir: (murmuring to himself) Bhagwaan, meri kismat itni kharab kyun hai? Ek din ke liye bhi normal boss nahi mil sakta kya?

Anuj:- pagal ho tum!!

Anuj chuckled softly!!

Anuj: accha tumhe apne boss ka khadoos aur akdu version dekhna hai ya friendly version?

Kabir: (grinning nervously) Friendly version, please. Waise bhi, mujhe to bas do hafte kaatne hain.

Anuj: (leaning closer) 2 hafta nahi mr kabir!! Ab aap 2 saal tak mera assistant bankar rahenga

Kabir get shockedd

Kabir:- kyaaa!!!

Anuj:- jii haan... bass decide how much payment you want! Bass kaam dil laga kar karna

Kabir nod

Kabir:- aap mujhse

Anuj:- nahi kabir mein tumse gussa nahi hoon, haan that's truee mein khadoos or akdu hoon but tumpar mujhe gussa nahi a raha

Kabir:- aisa kyun sir??

Kabir ask innocently, anuj glance at him

Anuj:- tumhari harkatein mujhe mera bachpan yaad dilati hai

Kabir:- (stunned) aap bachpan mein

Anuj:- tumhari tarah jada bolta tha, khane ka deewana tha, masti karta tha

Kabir: toh ab kyun nahi karta why so ukhda ukhda?

Anuj:- jab jindagi mein sab kuch khoya hona kabir toh khushiyon ki umeed bhi mar jaati.. jindagi ba rang ho gayi hai meri

Kabir:- jindagi barang nahi hoti boss ham khud usse barang bana deta hain

Anuj look at him and feel the deep meaning behind his words
