At the Shah house

Anupama paced back and forth in her room, the picture of Anuj still clutched tightly in her hand. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall.

Anupama (thinking): Mujhe kuch karna hoga. Woh kaha hai, yeh pata karna hoga. Chahe hum dono ke beech jo bhi hua ho..

Determined, she wiped her tears and picked up her phone she dialed Vanraj's number.

Vanraj: Haan, bolo

Anupama: vanraj, mujhe Anuj ki last location ka pata chahiye. Please, mujhe waha le chalo.

Vanraj hesitated, unsure of her intentions.

Vanraj: tumhe ab kyun farak pad raha hai, Anupama? Tumne toh khud hi use apni zindagi se alag kar diya tha.

Anupama (firmly): farak padta hai, Vanraj. Woh abhi bhi meri zindagi ka hissa hai, chahe hum ek saath ho ya na ho. Mujhe uska pata chahiye

Vanraj sighed.

Vanraj: thik hai. Main tumse message karta hoon

Anupama was about to go but then she saw Anuj entering in the house, anupama eyes get moist without saying anything she hugged him make him shocked, he froze for a moment the warm brings a silent smile on his face

Anupama break the hug and scold him

Anupama:- kaha chale gaya the aap? Aapko pata hai vanraj or mishra ji kitni chinta kar rahe the aapki

Anuj:- or tum

Anupama get silent

Anuj:- tum thodi chinta kar rahi hogi, after all ab tumne meri chinta karna chod jo diya hai

Anupama get hurt a little, he doesn't know how much she was scared for him, her trance broke when vanraj enters. He comes and hug anuj tightly

Vanraj:- (shout) kaha chala gaya tha tu

Anuj looks at vanraj

Vanraj:- kitni baar kaha hai tujhe apna dhiyan rakha kar lekin

Anuj:- vanraj yaha tamasha mat kar!

Vanraj look at anuj

Anuj:- aadhya or samar yaha rehta hai, or mein nahi chahta ki hamare bacchon ke samne ham koi tamasha kare

Vanraj sighed

Anuj:- mein theek hoon!! Apna room mein ja raha hoon

Anuj leave for his room and vanraj sighed in frustration!

Anupama hesitated for a moment before following Anuj to his room. When she stepped inside, she saw him standing by the mirror, rolling up his sleeves. Her eyes widened in shock as she noticed the bandage wrapped around his arm.

Anupama: (gasping) Yeh kya hua, Anuj?

Anuj glanced at her

Anuj:- Kuch nahi. Choti si chot hai, bas.

But Anupama wasn’t convinced. She hurried toward him, her fingers trembling as she gently touched the bandage.

Anupama: (angrily) Choti si chot? Yeh kaise hua?

Anuj: (shrugging) tumhe kya farak padta hai, Anupama?

Anupama: (firmly) Aap jaante hain na, mujhe farak padta hai. Aur hamesha padega.

Anuj looked at her, startled by the intensity in her voice. For a moment, neither spoke, the air between them thick with unspoken emotions.

Anupama was about to remove it but anuj take his hand back

Anuj:- don't remove it, kabir ne bandhi hai

Anupama get frown

Anupama:- kon kabir?

Anuj get silent, he doesn't know what is happening to him the eyes of kabir and gestures is like someone but who? Don't know

Anuj:- koi nahi! Tum chinta mat karo.. aadhyaa kaha hai?

Anupama:- woh school gayi hai

Anuj:- aaj Saturday ke din?

Anupama:- half day tha

Anuj nod

Anuj:- aadhya school se a jaya toh mujhe call karwa dena, mein usse mall le jaunga

Anupama:- iski jarurat nahi hai aap aram kijiya

Anuj:- jarurat hai! Mena aadhya ko promise kiya tha ki mein usse Saturday or Sunday ko bahar le jaya karungaa..

Anupama:- wo promise yaad hai aapko lekin mujhe kiya hua promise bhool gaya

Anuj look at her- his eyes become soft

Anuj:- promise toh ek yeh bhi tha.. ki chahe kuch bhi ho jaya.. ek dusra ko kabhi misunderstand nahi karenga, zakham bada tha lekin dard sirf tumhara bada kesa ho sakta hai

Anupama:- galti aapki thi..

Anuj:- uss galti ki saza 17 saalon se bhugat raha hoon mein

Anupama:- toh mein bhi toh bhugat rahi hoon

Anuj and anupama get emotional, no one said anything, anuj leave the room leaving anupama behind in tears!

Anuj comes outside of the shah house and his eyes falls on his beautiful yet naughty daughter

Aadhya:- popsssss

Aadhya run and hug anuj tightly. He give a smile

Aadhya:- i missed you

Anuj:- i missed you too princess- and i am sorry kaam ki wajha se papa apni princess ko time nahi de paya

Aadhya:- it is okay dad! I can understand work is also important

Anuj:- my princess is very matured

Aadhya:- yes i am!!

Anuj smiles

Aadhya:- mumma nahi aayagi hamare saath

Anuj get silent and nods no

Anuj:- No princess!! Mumma has some work

Aadhya sighs

Anuj:- koi baat nahi aaj papa or beti saath mein time spend karengaa what say

Aadhya:- okie!!

Hasmukh comes with Vanraj & Samar

Samar comes and hug anuj make him smile

Hasmukh:- or kya baatein ho rahi hai baap beti ke beech?

Aadhya:- papa mujhe mall mein le ja raha hein

Hasmukh:- ye toh badi acchi baat hai

Hasmukh smile at anuj!

Vanraj:- anuj mujhe tujhse ek baat karni thi

Anuj:- bol na

Vanraj:- wo AK NGO mein tera naam se paisa bhejwane hai

Anuj:- toh bheej dena puch kyun rhaa hai

Vanraj:- bhej deta lekin! Waha ki owner geeta kaki ko tujhse milna hai.. Wo kafi time se tujhse milna chahti hai

Anuj get frown

Anuj: but why?

Vanraj:- pata nahi tu mil le na..

Anuj nod

Aadhya:- AK NGO? Ye konsa NGO hai?

Hasmukh: ye NGO tera papa ne banwaya hai

Aadhya look at anuj

Aadhya:- really? But why AK?

Samar:- AK means Anuj Kapadia

Hasmukh smile and shake his head

Hasmukh:- nahi AK means Anjali Kunal

Aadhya:- ye dono kon hai?

Vanraj:- tumhare late Grandparents

Aadhya get suprised and look at anuj who nod at her

Aadhya:- toh dad ne dada dadi ke naam pe NGO rakha

Vanraj:- haan aadhya

Samar:- that's wrong

Vanraj:- kya wrong?

Samar:- Anuj buddy ka A se, Anu maasi ka naam A se, Aadhya ka naam A se.. kamal hai saare A A Hai

Hasmukh smile

Vanraj:- toh galat kya hai?

Samar:- mera naam S se kyun? K or V se kyun nahi

Hasmukh:- kyunki tera naam pandit ji ke kehna par S se rakhna tha jesa anuj ka naamkaran ke wakt A se rakhna tha warna mera dost or anuj ke papa kunal ne toh apna beta ka naam "Kabir" socha tha

Anuj look at Hasmukh with wide eyes, he remember about kabir! He feels some weird now!!

Anuj enter in his cabin! Literally not understanding anything

Mishra comes

Mishra:- Sir!

Anuj looks at mishra

Mishra:- sir aapne mujhe bulaya

Anuj:- tum 2 week ke liya Thailand ja rahe ho

Mishra:- ji sir

Anuj:- puch nahi raha hoon, tum thailand ja rahe ho toh mera P.A wali jo job hai uska kya? I am sure vanraj ne kuch arrange kiya hoga

Mishra:- haan sir wo ek employee hai aryan sir ki company mein wo apko asset karega, wo aata hi hoga mena already usse sara kaam samjha diya hai wo 2 weeeks ke kiya aapko assist karega

Anuj nod and sit on his seat! Thinking about his past 17 years back what happened- how his life become messed up!
