Anuj opened his eyes and look at his either side finding it empty, he get up from bed and get inside the bathroom.

He comes out and changed into a dark blue 3 piece suit, he go downstairs and look at the kitchen

Kaddy:- sir breakfast

Anuj:- i don't want it..

He goes, and sit inside his car, driver start the car- anuj look outside the window..

Just then the car stopped!!

Anuj:- kya hua ajay

Ajay:- ek ladka achanak se gaadi ke samne a gaya

Anuj comes out from the car and saw a boy

Anuj:- tum theek hoo

Boy: areyy ohhh ameer baap kii aulaad

Anuj looks at him, froze for a moment he is really good looking and charming

Boy:- areyyy parlook sudhaar gaya kyaa idheerrr

Anuj trance brokee

Anuj:- i am really sorry, wo mera driver naa, tumhe jada toh nahi laga na

Boy:- sach mein concern dikha rahe ho yaa bass natak kar rahe ho

Anuj:- nahii i am genuinely asking

Boy:- then it is okay!!

Anuj nods

Boy:- bass doctor ke pass le chalo, ek Margareta pizza, coco cola, Mexican taco khila do or medicine ke liya paisa denaa

Anuj look at him with raising eyebrow

Boy:- kya??

Anuj:- kuch nahi chalo!!

Boy:- godh mein toh lo

Anuj look at him with wtf

Anuj:- mein tumhe godh mein kyun lungaa?

Boy:- areyy adopt karne ko nahi keh raha hoon, mera pair dukh raha hai godhi lo

Anuj sighs and helps him. Made him sit on back seat..

Ajay glanced back from the driver's seat.

Ajay:- Kahaan le jana hai, sir?

Anuj: Hospital.

Boy: Arey hospital kaun jaata hai chhoti chhoti choton ke liye? Kahi achhi si jagah chhodo, wahaan doctor bhi hoga aur pizza bhi!

Anuj gave him a blank look, deciding not to argue

Anuj:- fine. We'll see

The boy leaned back

Boy:- By the way, tumhara naam kya hai, Mr. Richie Rich?

Anuj didn't said

Ajay:- anuj naam hai hamare sir ka

Boy: hmm... Anuj. Nice name. Main Kabir hoon, naam yaad rakhna, kyunki tumhein mujhe dobara milne ka bahana chahiye hoga

Anuj raised an eyebrow

Anuj:- Tum toh kaafi confident ho apne baare mein.

Kabir smirked.

Kabir:- Confidence meri second nature hai

In the warm kitchen, the aroma of freshly made parathas filled the air as Anupama worked diligently.

She listen a footsteps

Anupama:- anujj aap naa..

She turned her head slightly to see her mischievous daughter, Aadhya, grinning up at her, anupama realised and lower her head

Aadhya: (teasingly) Mumma, main Dad nahi hoon, main Aadhya hoon! Aapko dad ki yaad a rahi hai

Anupama's face turned slightly pink with embarrassment as she gently ruffled Aadhya’s hair.

Anupama - nahi toh

Aadhya leaned against the kitchen counter, watching her mother intently.

Aadhya:- mom agar aapko dad ki yaad a rahi hai toh office chale jao na unse milna

Anupama didn't answer to her

Aadhya:- mumma

Anupama:- aadhyaa... dekh mujhe kaam karne de or tu jaa terii class hainaa, ja tayaar ho jaa

Anupama concentrate on her cooking while aadhya look at her

Aadhya: (thinks) Mumma, aap papa ke baare mein baat nahi karti, par mujhe pata hai... aapke dil mein woh abhi bhi hain

Anupama:- Aadhya, parathas thandi ho jayengi. Table par jao, main lekar aati hoon

Aadhya sighed, She knew her mother avoided talking about her father. Even as a child, she had noticed the absence in their lives.

As Aadhya walked toward the dining table, she glanced back at her mother, who was staring at the paratha in silence, lost in thought.

Anupama, on the other hand, closed her eyes briefly, pushing back the emotions threatening to surface. She whispered to herself,

Anupama:- (thinks) Aadhya ke liye strong rehna hoga... par kyun tumhari yaadon se chutkara nahi milta, Anuj?

Inside the clinic, the doctor examined Kabir’s leg

Doctor:- it's just a minor sprain. He’ll be fine with rest and some medication

Kabir immediately perked up

Kabir:- Doctor, rest ke liye pizza aur cola zaroori hai. Aap prescription mein likh dijiye!

The doctor chuckled, while Anuj pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration

Anuj:- Fine, I'll get you pizza.

Dr:- aapka beta bada pyaara hai

Anuj get stopped for a moment and look at kabir

Anuj:- ye mera beta nahi hai

Kabir:- agar mein iss baap ki aulaad hota na toh ye 300 ki t shirt nahi 3000 ki t shirt pehanta..

Anuj look at him and roll his eyes

Anuj sat across from kabir at Domino's, arms crossed and a deep frown etched on his face. Meanwhile, kabir sat there with a Margarita pizza slice in one hand and a Coca-Cola in the other, completely unbothered.

Kabir: (mouth full of pizza) Yaar, pizza itna tasty kyun hota hai? Tum log toh roz khate hoge na?

Anuj sighed

Anuj:- tumhe lagta hai main roz yahan aata hoon?

Kabir: (grinning) Ameer log toh aise hi rehte hain. Har roz alag-alag luxury. Mujhe toh roz ka ek pizza mil jaye, zindagi set hai!

Anuj didn’t reply, instead choosing to watch kabir devour his food like a child given unlimited candy. he couldn’t help but notice how genuinely happy kabir looked. It was rare to see someone enjoy something so simple with such pure delight.

Kabir caught him staring and smirked.

Kabir:- Kya hua, Mr. Serious? Mujhe ghur rahe ho? Maine toh abhi tumse shaadi ka bhi proposal nahi diya

Anuj's jaw clenched, and he looked away, muttering

Anuj:- Tum bohot bolte ho.

Kabir chuckled, his eyes sparkling with mischief

Kabir:- aur tum bilkul nahi bolte. Balance ho raha hai.

As kabir took another bite, he suddenly paused and looked at Anuj

Kabir:- tumhe pata hai? Tumhe thoda chill karna chahiye. Life ka mazza lene ka time nikal jaayega warna.

Anuj, taken aback, blinked

Anuj:- mujhe lecture mat do

Kabir leaned forward, his tone surprisingly soft

Kabir:- main tumhe lecture nahi de raha, Anuj. Bas keh raha hoon... kabhi-kabhi pizza ki tarah simple cheezon mein bhi khushi dhoondo.

For a moment, Anuj didn’t know what to say. Kabir’s words

As they left Domino’s, kabir continued to chatter nonstop, walking a step ahead of Anuj.

Kabir: ( teasingly ) Waise, tum na, ekdum robot jaise ho. Suit pehne ho, but andar se ekdum boring ho. Tumhare ghar mein sab aise hi serious hote hain kya?

Anuj: (annoyed) tumhe chup rehna aata hai?

Kabir: (grinning mischievously) Aata hai, but maza nahi aata. Waise tum smile karte ho ya woh bhi secret hai? Ek smile dekhne ke liye kya karna padega? Dance karoon kya?

Anuj rolled his eyes, muttering under his breath, "Impossible ladka."

As they walked down the street, kabir was too busy looking back at Anuj, walking backward while continuing to tease.

Kabir: Areee Anuj baba, ek smile de do... bhagwaan ke naam pe smilee de de reee

Anuj where controlling on his smile. He is literally so cute

Suddenly, Kabir’s foot caught on a loose stone, and before he could react, he slipped and landed face-first on the ground. His nose hit the soft soil, leaving a faint smudge across his face.

Anuj stopped, startled. "Kabir!"

Kabir groaned, sitting up and rubbing his nose.

Kabir:- Ouch… yeh kya tha?! Kya mitti bhi mujhse flirt karne lagi?

Anuj down in front of him, his expression softening as he looked at Kabir’s face, now covered in a little dirt. Shaking his head, he pulled out a handkerchief and gently wiped Kabir’s face.

Anuj: (smiling faintly) Tumhara kuch nahi ho sakta, mr clumsy boy.

Kabir froze for a moment, then grinned widely.

Kabir:- Areee, Mr. Robot smile karte hain! Kya baat hai! Yeh toh history hai. Kya main yeh moment frame karwa loon?"

Anuj let out a quiet laugh, shaking his head as he stood up and helped kabir to his feet.

Anuj:- Chup kar aur chal, ab zameen se dosti band karo.

Kabir dusted himself off, beaming at Anuj.

Kabir:- Mujhe pata tha, tum smile karoge! Ab toh mujhe officially award milna chahiye. ‘Mr. Serious ko hasane wala hero!

Anuj:- Tumhe hero ka nahi, bol bacchan ka award milna chahiya

The two continued walking, Anuj feeling an unfamiliar lightness in his chest as Kabir’s cheerful banter filled the air

Kabir takes a auto and look at anuj with smile

Kabir:- byee byee Richie rich

Anuj:- safely jana mr bol bacchan

Kabir action him to come closer- and anuj sit, kabir kissed on his right cheek make anuj suprised for a moment.

Kabir:- Thank you Richie Rich

And kabir leave before looking at anuj. Anuj was standing there is heart saying

"17 saal baad aaj jakar itnaa free sa lag raha hai, kisi anjaan insaan ki wajha se... pata nahi kab mera ye akela pan dur hoga kab tum mera pass wapas aaogi anu"
