Eight years later

Madara

It's been eight years since I've met my pup. Over the years I've secretly been helping him with hunting. I kill a few animals and place them in front of him after he walks around for a while. I'm careful to make sure he never sees me.

I can feel it's hurting him but master Indra said this is for the best right now. I just hope Izuna, Rin, Haru, Haruto, and Ryuko never have to stay away from their mates.

"Aniki! Can we please go to the lake and train today"? "Not fair Izuna, I wanted to train with aniki today. You always train with him". My little brother Rin said glaring at his older brother. I couldn't help but smile.

Izuna and Rin were alphas like me and always wanted to follow me when I would go out into the forest to train. Haru, Haruto, and Ryuko were omega's so the three of us make sure they're safe at all times.

"Madara won't have time to train with any of you today I'm afraid". Master Indra said coming into the room. The three of us immediately bowed to him. "You'll be coming with me. It's time I told you about a history lesson about our family.

Izuna, Rin, if the two of you want to train you'll have to do it without your brother". "Yes sir". The three of us said in unison. I hugged the both of them before walking off with master Indra.

We walked for a long time. Our footsteps echoed loudly as we walked along the cold marble floors. Tall pillars with glass windows decorated the long hallway as we walked to our destination.

I said nothing as I followed behind him. Yes my father is king and I'm heir to the throne but I know better than to think I matter more than master Indra. If it wasn't for him none of us would be here. I owe everything I have to him.

We eventually came across two large double doors. The guards standing there opened them for us and closed them back once we were on the other side.

"Sit". He said with his back facing me. I did as told and sat cross-legged. He turned around and gave me the most serious look I had ever seen before. "I want to talk to you about the future of our family". "What about it sir"?

"As you know I left my father's side and started a coven of vampires all by myself. I don't regret that decision at all. Nothing fills me with greater joy than watching all of you live lives of peace and comfort but as future king, you need to understand why I left.

I have a younger twin brother named Ashura but unlike me, he was born a werewolf. Despite what many people believe I do love my brother and father but I couldn't stay there. Growing up Ashura and I knew our father would one day name his successor.

My father and I had a wonderful relationship, there was absolutely nothing I wouldn't do for him but when the time came he chose Ashura over me. His reason for it was that I liked to do things on my own instead of relying on others to help me.

I have nothing against asking others for help I just find it easier to do things myself plus it gets the job done much faster. I knew the three of us would never be able to compromise on our beliefs that's why I left".

"But master, there are a lot of Uchiha's here who help each other out. My desire to protect everyone is what fuels my fire". "I know and I admire that greatly about you Madara. I know I was wrong to do what I did but at the time when it happened, I was very stubborn.

Thankfully my father and brother were never mad at me but unfortunately, because of my mistake there are many vampires and werewolves who are at odds with each other and feel like they will never be able to trust the other".

"Is your brother Ashura the master of the werewolf pack that lives nearby"? "He is". I went silent. "Madara"? "My mate is a werewolf". "I see. Have you imprinted on him or her yet"? "I have. He's the son of the current pack leader".

"A vampire and a werewolf huh". "Master please, he needs me". I asked looking up at him pleadingly. "I know he does but rather or not he comes to you will be up to him entirely. The omegas have to be the ones who confess to their alphas it can't be the other way around".

"Why not"? "Simple, the alphas are the dominant ones. We're their protectors. It's up to them rather or not they want us to protect them". "I understand".

Hashirama

"Aniki, can we go swimming later"? "Can I come too"? My little brother Tobirama asked as he laid his head in my lap along with our little sister Inuama. "I'm sorry but I have to go out training soon". "Why does daddy make you go train? You're an omega just like us". Inu asked.

"It's because I'm the oldest. When dad retires I'm going to be head of the pack". "I I see". Hashirama it's time to go"! Our father yelled from downstairs. "I have to go you two, I'll be back later". I kissed both their heads then left.

My father motioned his head towards the door. I nodded my head and left on my own. Over the years my father stopped coming with me when I was forced to go hunting. He sends me into the forest by myself and I'm not allowed to come back until I've killed something.

I hate it. I don't like hunting at all. I'm not an alpha and I never will be. I have gotten better at learning the different sounds and smells. I can tell when a rabbit or deer is about to come out but I can also tell when he's in the forest with me as well.

Every time I smell his scent I know I'm not alone anymore. He never lets me see his face anymore but that doesn't bother me. I'm just glad I have someone looking out for me. I continued walking until two rabbits and a baby deer were placed infront of me.

"Don't worry they were already injured. I just put them out of their misery". "Thank you". "Your welcome". "Why don't you ever let me see your face anymore"? He said nothing. Can I see it. Please"? He went quiet for a while. I knew he didn't walk off because I could still smell him.

"Soon, I promise". "Ok". I took the dead animals my friend had caught for me and headed home.
