Decision To Make
Hashirama
What am I going to do? Can I actually keep this baby? What will Madara think when he comes back? If he does accept me will he actually want to raise a kid that isn't his? Not only that but what am I supposed to tell my child about their father? Should I tell them what happened to me or not?
I just want Madara to come home so we can talk. I want my alpha.
"Hashirama, breakfasts ready". Lord Ashura called from downstairs. I stood up and and grabbed ahold of the crutches that were beside my bed. My wrist had a special glove on it that made it possible to grab onto things while it healed.
When I made it to the stairs I held my crutches in one hand while I lifted my injured leg up and slowly made my way downstairs using the railing to help. Once safely downstairs I used my crutches to finish my destination to the kitchen and sat at the kitchen table where a plate of pancakes and berries was waiting for me. "Don't worry, there vegan". "Thank you, my lord".
I cut a piece with my fork and took a bite. "Did you get any sleep last night"? "Not really. I was up most of the night thinking about the baby". "I figured as much". "I'm only fifteen master. I'm still a pup myself".
"I understand your worries Hashirama but you have to do what you think is best. No one else can make the decision for you". I placed my hand over my stomach. "Why did he have to leave"? "He'll be back one day". "Is he mine"? I looked up at him pleadingly.
He looked at me sadly. "You know I can't tell you that". I looked down mimicking his look. "I know". "Why don't you go out and take your mind off of things for a while"? "Am I allowed to"? "You are. Your father can't get to you here". "Ok".
After breakfast was over I grabbed my crutches and started my walk. I had to move slowly but I eventually made it away from the cabin and into the forest. The air was fresh here. It was probably because of the mountains that were nearby but my chest didn't feel as tight breathing in the air around here.
It made moving around much easier despite my having to use crutches to walk. The plants here were just as lively as the plants back home. It was clear that Madara had listened to me. When he was here I would go on and on about how I took care of the plants in the werewolf forest. It's obvious he listened to me.
While walking I was eventually greeted by a momma deer and her baby. I watched as the mother followed behind her fawn while she walked ahead of her mother. The fawn walked over to a bush and started eating the leaves. The mother soon joined her.
I made sure I stayed completely still as to not disturb them or scare them off. I slowly placed my crutches in one hand then very carefully lowered myself to sit on the ground. The two weren't right by each other but I could tell the mother had a watchful eye on her baby while she ate.
Just like my mother when Tobirama and I would run off and play with our younger siblings
A smile spread across my face as I watched the fawn talk happily to her mother while wagging her little tail. I placed my hand over my stomach and smiled more. Once she was done the fawn started jumping up and down while her mother continued to eat.
Her happy mood didn't last long. All of a sudden her ears and tail went down as she slowly backed away. Her mother picked up her head immediately and moved her ears to listen for any danger.
She ran towards her daughter and nudged her to run when out of nowhere a coyote jumped out of the bushes. The mother kept trying to get her baby to move but the faen was frozen in fear. I reached over and grabbed the nearest rock I could find and threw it at the coyote.
He bared his fangs at me and lunged but I quickly hit him with one of my crutches which made him let out a whimper. "Leave them alone". I glared at him. He lowered his ears and ran off. I thought the mother and daughter would run off afterwards but they didn't.
The fawn made her way over to me and lowered her head to nudge my hand. I lifted it up and gently petted her head. Her mother laid down on her legs and allowed her to play with me.
"It's ok little one, you and your mother are safe now". She let out a happy noise. Her fur was brown and felt extremely soft as my hand gently rubbed her head up and down. "Your a sweet little thing aren't you"? She let out another noise when my phone decided to ring. I took it out and saw the person I wanted to see most right now calling me.
Hashi: Hey Mada. How are things going?
Mada: It's going well. I miss my best friend like crazy though
I could hear the smile in his voice.
Hashi: You and me both
Mada: How are you doing? You sound sad
Should I tell him?
Hashi: I'm fine. I'm just stressed with all the work my dad has me doing
Mada: I see
Hashi: Think you could come home sooner
Mada: I wish I could. I miss you and my siblings.
Hashi: We miss you as well
I placed my hand back over my stomach
Mada: Hashi. You would tell me if something was wrong right?
Hashi: T There is something bothering me but I want to see if I can handle it on my own first
Mada: I understand, just know I'm here whenever you need me
Hashi: I know. Thank you
Mada: Anytime
Hashi: Where are you right now?
Mada: My father and I are in a village where it rains all the time
Hashi: That sounds gloomy
Mada: It is
Hashi: How long are you going to be staying there?
Mada: A few more days then we'll be heading to our next destination.
Hashi: Any idea where that is
Mada: Nope
Hashi: I see.
Mada: I hate to cut this short but I have to head out with my father somewhere.
Hashi: That's ok, I understand your busy
I hung up and noticed the mom walk off but didn't call for her baby to follow. I was confused by this but a few minutes later she came back holding a leaf in her mouth. I was even more confused but understood when she came over to us and placed the leaf down in front of us. The leaf unfolded revealing a bunch of berries.
"Thank you". She let out a nose then sat back down. I reached down, took a berry and placed it in my mouth. I smiled as the baby fawn and I ate together happily, enjoying the other's company.
After spending the rest of my morning with the fawn and her mother I headed back to the cabin where lord Ashura was starting on lunch. "Welcome back Hashi". I made my way into the kitchen and sat at the table.
"How was your walk"? "It was good. I made friends with a baby deer and her mother after saving them from a coyote". "You didn't get hurt did you"? "No". "Good". I went quiet for awhile. "Madara called me"? "Really? How did that go"? "Good, it actually helped me come to a decision". "It did"? He asked turning his head towards me. "Yeah, I'm gonna keep it. This is my baby, not Kevins".
"I'll support you every step of the way".
